Katy Tur learned a new phrase from the Gen-Zers on her team when they were talking about Marjorie Taylor Greene's move to file a motion to vacate Speaker Mike Johnson's chair on Friday, which would be make him the second Republican House Speaker to be vacated after Kevin McCarthy was last year.

Some of the people who enabled the Democrats to regain the House in 2018 decided to 180 in 2022 giving the GOP back a slim majority.
Without it the Democrats would be laying smackdown after smackdown in their legislative agenda for the last 15 months as much as the 24 months before that.
That being said - with the RNC hopelessly compromised by Trump now it's pretty likely that this november will result in the worst losses to the GOP's power across all the US for a generation - not just congress but all levels of govmt that the RNC subsidized campaigns for, including gubernatorial and state legislature/senate positions, even mayorships.
