I’m amazed how calm you are having travelled 24 hrs, into a completely new culture and then having to run a marathon the next day. You have such a great attitude Ben!

That's a really busy scheduled day of activities for the day before your marathon! Plus jet lag recovery. I know you PBd and you are really happy with the race, but really interesting to consider if you had more of a rest day it would have been more of a PB? Or maybe the excitement and connection of the group activities fueled you? Either way, so happy for you! The Mizuno Engine facility looks amazing. Very cool that you are invited to these things.

He got a free entry and travel costs from Mizuno as a running influencer maybe even sponsorship. A likely part of this was to come to Mizuno events and even if not financial sponsorship then keeping good relations is a good idea to continue to get early access like with the Mizuno Wave Rebellion.

It must be challenging for pro athletes. I often wonder about that. The amount of media and interviews right before a race. Even Kipchoge has so much media right before a world record race.

A great video! So this is what a successful RUclips Runner influencer gets up to. Good luck Ben, I hope it went well. The Stryd footpod is good for accurate pace and distance for any race where GPS is sketchy, and works with the Coros watches.

Hey Ben. I have a question about HR sensor on arm. Is it precise like a belt on chest? I'm looking for much comfortable option to monitoring HR rate, because with belt i have a little problem with free breathing. Running with asthma isn't easy :D Thanks for answer, and all the best.
