Nope! I wash my hair every single week, religiously. I don't skip wash days ever, as I live in the tropics (Jamaica) and so with this heat and my hair being thick...yeah. Anyways, your hair looks lovely as usual; it's definitely my hair goals.
@@sellanyeka I agree, every week is definitively my favorite as well. Life has a way of getting in the way sometimes lol. I hated how much I struggled that day. So, I will try to avoid this every chance I get.
AOUCH CASSY THAT'S A BIG BALL OF HAIR. 😮 I know your hair thinning will get thicker soon with your great hair care routine. I hate making mistakes that result in hair breakage. Breakage happens so quickly while it could take an eternity to repair the damages. As always, you are DOPE for sharing your experience and journey with us .💖
I know right! 😒 But hey this hair journey includes those bad days as well. The lesson is that once you realize the mistake, you avoid it. The problem starts when the mistake gets ignored causing further damage. And yes you are right with that breakage happens fast, but repairing takes time and patience. You are welcome!🤗Thanks for your watching! 💕🙏🏾.
This was a recipe for struggle and I knew it was going down for sure once you said 20 weeks post 😅 I’ve found that I cannot comb over castor oil if I use it on the length of my hair. It’s too thick and there is ZERO slip no matter the condition prior to. But I swear by it like you do and you’ll recover from this one in no time! Thx for sharing with us!
I'm 10months post relaxer due to life & illness but i plan to relax within 2 weeks. So far not much shedding but i can't wait to see once it's pressed out i maintain my ends monthly to avoid big cuts. The key for me was steaming prior to detangling & washing with leave in & hot oil also keeping the New growth stretched with Shea butter or heavy cream keeps it jucy. I think your hair recovers well, hair is a journey
Feel better soon hun 💕. Your hair regimen sounds very good. I'm sure your hair is thriving with this well packed regimen. And yes, you are right, healthy hair care is indeed a journey. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏾
I have been struggling to grow out my hair for so long and now that it has started growing one part is longer than the other while the crown of my hair is very short and thin and i have trid all my best to take care of my hair and is still not working and it really breaks my heart so I'm planning to cut my hair soon😢😢
Despite all your efforts, I know how tough it can be when your hair isn’t cooperating. You’ve done an amazing job caring for it, and even though things aren’t perfect right now, don’t lose hope. If you decide to cut your hair, think of it as a fresh start-sometimes that’s just what we need to grow even stronger. Stay positive; you’ve got this! 💖
I experienced the same issue. I didn't cut my hair short - I did cut the thinning ends. I then started what I call my Chebe hair journey. I put my hair in twists back to back. I use chebe, oil and leave in conditioner when twisting my hair. It has become thicker and fuller and longer. I also make hair butter using shea butter, mango butter, cocoa butter and many oils including my favourites - batana oil, emu oil, rosemary oil, peppermint oil, lavender oil etc.
