- We are about to reach the one-year anniversary of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk! It's crazy how fast time has gone by. The modding scene has also grown massively since I've last talked about what mods were available at the time for BRC. New things have been made possible that completely change how Bomb Rush Cyberfunk can be played! I wanted to address that today and update you on all of the current available Bomb Rush Cyberfunk mods that I think you should try out to enhance your experience with the game! I wanted to do an update on mods because some mods have since been deleted or have gone through big changes.

Small note on movement plus, don't use it during the main story unless you got the npc challenge routes memorized, it breaks em all lol
I knew I had forgotten something! Lol. Been so used to the broken NPCs in M+ now that I forgot 💀
was around first the first month of the game and it's been crazy to see how much its evolved
Back then, wasn't able to show custom models in cutscenes. Now look where we are
These guys are insane HOW did they manage to put working multiplayer WITH chat in this game.
There are some really talented to people in the community. I wish I was as cool as them
With Movement Plus, Don'tSetMySpeed, Rebound and Wall Plant the game becomes so freaking insane, I love it, it becomes Air Gear: The Video Game xD
Yeah the speed is very exhilarating with all those mods together
Side note: Don'tSetMySpeed tends to break a lot of the MovementPlus mechanics. So, I recommend just rocking MovementPlus

Ever since i got the game what i have been waiting is for the right time to start downloading mods ... Right now I think is the best time out of all since now we have some essential mods, i cannot wait to see how the modding scene expands in this game in the future if it does!

not trying to gate keep or anything, but i HIGHLY recommend playing the game with no or minimal mods till you beat the story. i think the base game is plenty fun and i think the story is pretty alright too. but after that go wild, i personally play with movement plus now and its awesome and i rarely play with any of the base roster any more either, but i dont think i would have been able to properly appreciate the game or the mods without playing vanilla (or atleast close to vanilla) first. but thats just imo, hope you enjoy the game when/if you get around to it ✌

Movement plus is fun, but it's simply not jet set radio at that point.
I like to treat it as an almost different game, something akin to Sonic.
Well it's not really Jet Set Radio or Sonic, it's BRC

Does your bomb rush radio custom songs still loop back to vanilla game playlists when you go to a new area? Mine does and idk if it's just my version or not
It hasn't for me. When I go to a new area with a custom song, it usually just shuffles to any song in my current playlist, whether it be vanilla or custom. Might have to do some more configuring with MusicCurator
It’s a custom config in the freesoul server, must of forgot you downloaded it.

Every time i hit F5 to change to the skateboard the game reloads itself for some reason

Are there any news on the map tools that are being developed? I saw some vids about custom built maps but can't find more info about the tools, not even a discord server to follow the development. I would love to pick up the game and make custom maps for it!

I hear people been having trouble with carjack. Maybe asking people in the Freesoul Server could help

It's still a work in progress mod that hasn't been released yet. Someday it will get released.

Hitting F3 the first time, starts the recording.
Hitting F3 the 2nd time, stops the recording.
Hitting f3 the 3rd time, plays the replay

How do I switch servers
You wanna go to the config editor in R2modmanager, find the slopcrew config, and then you'll scroll down to server and that's where you'll change servers.
