I think people shit on the story because they just wanted a simpler streets versus corporations type beat, and having one of the Three being the bad guy muddles that. But I actually love it because it a real ass depiction of gang in fighting, and its still pretty ACAB. In fact having the antagonist be a blonde haired, white boy, privileged, son of the police chief, brings this spin on how street movements and progressivism can get co-opted by bad actors and selfish pricks. I love the story.

Same here goat. I cannot begin to explain how crazy my experience with this game was. I literally started it by finding out that it exists through a toxic friend of mine, who were really into jet set radio, and hence also knew about BRCF. We were decent acquaintances in their eyes, while we were friends in mine, but one day they just flipped a switch and began hating me for no reason. Been a toxic road with them, and hence I couldn't separate our relationships outcome with Jet Set Radio, with me at the time thinking BRCF WAS JSR. A lot of time had passed and I stumbled upon a Peter Griffin mod (Yes, yk it, that one). I had completely forgotten about how JSR looked and so I thought this were a completely different game. I later watched the BRCF multiplayer mod and thought it were something as awesome as the chill TF2 lobbies I loved (Plus found out about the Jakes meme before I even visited it in the game) Only to post about asking the games multiplayer mod, saying that i'd love to add the guy I asked on Reddit for directions and just to chill together when I end up getting the game. Bro NOT ONLY added me on steam, NOT ONLY did he spend hella time on reddit explaining to me how the mod works in a fun 1on1 convo. BUT HE BOUGHT ME THE FUCKING GAME!>!>! Bro, I now OWED him to master that game, and so I did. Finished all of the achievements, and even visited the secret vent room.... Love this game man, and I am so glad that I no longer have a toxic association when thinking about it!!!

not bad bro. the mods have given this game such a longer shelf life than it was just vanilla for sure. i haven’t turned movement plus off since i’ve turned it on. i personally tuned the speed down a bit for the jsr/vanilla levels because sometimes its definitely too fast.
your music is nice, reminds me of bladee in the best way I want to offer you advice but I probably sound dumb because it’s way better than anything I could do, but I was begging for you to intersperse some fast paced garage MC style bars, I think some faster bars in your laid back delivery over those breakbeats would sound sick, but building up to it over the track ofc my favourite thing about this game is the art style and theme, the slick tech and rail grinding is secondary to the art to me so crazy mods that take me out of that world don’t feel right, that’s just my personal taste but I’m so appreciative of the modding community though, because Team Reptile will be watching how active and wild this community is and HAVE to expand on this game and give us more Yeah we have an official Jet Set Radio in the works but that’s for sure going to be more like a remake for a ‘new generation’ rather than a homage, Bomb Rush deserves more content and I trust Team Reptile know this
