I also purchased a fire pit kit so needed a bench for around it. Loved your design so i built this out and also added 15 degree back rests, and it turned out awesome! Thanks for the great instruction! Going to also build two separate smaller benches for the other side.
I like that, would make a great addition to our backyard 🦞🍴🔥. Wondered where the angle cuts came in (as you explained) now I see, just didn't make the connection as it did. "You never cease to amaze this guy".
I saw you used the newer outdoor screws with less thread I’ve been having trouble with them gripping things. I hope I’m not the only one that noticed the difference
A suggested improvement would be to design it such that there are 3 separate pieces so that a) you are able to get it out of the shop and b) you can take it to the install location by yourself. The design would allow for you to finish/connect the build on site.
Going from memory, I'm pretty sure it was (6) 2" x 6" x 8', (6) 5/4" x 6" x 8', and (1) 4" x 4" x 12' All pressure treated. Make sure to get the better quality ones that are not warped or have too many knots.

Thanks Anthony, I hope you get to build it for your backyard, you will love it.
Great video! Just finished mine up and very happy with it. Thanks again!
I want to do this around my pool! You have some great tips thank you!
I love your vids I can't stop watching them.
Nice looking bench!
Thank you
Wonderful creation ! I like it.
I usually don’t build any of your projects but this time I may end up actually making this.
I really hope you do!
“Knot here” That’s too funny. That bench came out awesome brother
LOL, Thanks Chris. We are thinking about adding some additions like that to future videos just to see if people are watching.
Interesting video. Thanks for sharing !
Nice project.
Wow! Great work !
Thanks
Love the video, I’m going to use this design to an extent! I would just like to add a back to the benches. Does anyone know how I can do that?
May you get more success
Stay connected
Can you tell me where to find the list of materials I need to make this? Planning on a father-son project.
Nice Video. #STAYSAFE

What is the width at the furthest ends? Want to make sure it fit in my existing fire pit. Thanks
Nice bench. Can I suggest rounding over the front edge
That's a good suggestion.
Love it. Just what I need for my fire pit 👍🏻
A bit of a round over along the front edges of 5/4 board on the angled sections will make that much more comfortable to sit on.
Good idea, thanks

I like ur content I'm new friend here
Do you have a "shopping list" of the wood materials you used that you could share with the community?
Yes that would be great
Nice job! Can you provide a list of the materials you used?

Unintentional pun "Knot here" for the screw lol 3:55
Uh, intentional pun?
Nice bench! With that lumber you could park your arse OR your car on it!
