Glen hopefully you see this, I'm not exaggerating when I say your videos changed my life! I was stuck as a bartender, didn't know what to do. I built floating shelves after watching your video and put them up on my walls. My wife's clients saw them, had me make some for her and suggested we sell them.
5 years later I'm running my own wood working business and have my own shop all because of you!

Glenn, we are just elated that you are alive! Significant life events, personal trauma and challenges can be difficult to navigate and work through. Couple that with anxiety and depression and the result could take several years of looking for meaning to get your life back. As many have already said, there is no need to apologize. You need all the support, the time to reflect, to heal and build right now. Welcome back, and to be honest, being open and positive about your experience is just as valuable as videos about projects. We all go through rough life-changing events, I went through a horrible and sudden breakup that took years to get over. It makes a huge difference to know other people go through these things too, can be open about how much it hurts, but also that they find ways to get on. Always loved your videos, and looking forward to seeing more.

We were NOT concerned that you were not putting up content. Having said that, it's good to see you get back on the horse and work. They don't but I can understand their need to. After building a "relationship" with an audience you will naturally feel obligated to them. It is they who make the RUclipsr successful. It is they who have come somewhat dependent on the RUclipsr for whatever emotional connection that is there. So , yes I see why he had to respond, just read the comments and you should get it.

Glenn, no need to apologize. There was so many comments, one even said you were dead and honestly felt sad to hear. I am so happy to see you are well and back on youtube. We all have been there, good for you to take time to deal with your personal issues. Happy to see you are back. ❤

Very touching - always thought you’re smarter and more creative than any of my architecture and architectural engineering colleagues I work with- curious if you’re an architect yourself?! Be well dear friend and prosper - may you and your family be blessed today and always.

Sorry to hear you're going through some tough stuff. You getting professional help is admirable--good on you! Taking care of yourself is important, so do what you gotta do to regain/retain your mental health. Appreciate your explanation. Sending you positive vibes!

I'm so sorry you went through that devastating loss. A breakup is just as tough to navigate as losing someone who has died. Thank you for sharing your mental health journey with us, and raising awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding it. The more people who talk about it, the more people will seek it out. I'm a mental health therapist, so it's always good to hear therapy has helped! Keep doing what you do! Again, thank you and best of luck moving forward. Lisa

God bless you son. I went through the same issue as you and was devastated. It takes a toll on you both physically and mentally. I'm glad you are back and there was in no way a need to apologize.

I understand completely. Although I was sorry to hear the sad news, I am very glad to hear you’re taking care of yourself. That should always come first.
With that said, I am also happy to see the new videos and I’m looking forward to any new content you share. Very inspiring.
I’m about to take on the biggest challenge I’ve ever attempted. I am completely redoing my mom’s place. The outdoor space is several acres. It will have an entertaining area, 5 stall carport, workshop, a couple storage sheds, a greenhouse, a garden area and possibly a pool. I will also be gutting two mobile homes and completely redesigning them so that she and I can move back to her place. I’m doing most of the work myself to save where I can. 🙏🤞🙏
So you do what you need to do and post when you can. Your loyal followers will always be here to cheer you on and wait patiently to see your wonderful ideas! ❤

Sending nothing but love your way! I'm sorry that you hit such a rough patch, but very happy to hear that you are using it to work on making things better. Don't forget to add God to your list of things to keep you occupied. In fact put Him at the top of the list and all things after will fall into place ❤ Greatly looking forward to more content from you - you were one of the people that most helped me gain confidence when first getting into woodworking and you continue to inspire creativity with every episode. You got this Glenn!

My beloved Brother, you have absolutely NO REASON to explain nor apologize for needing to take care of you & do what needs to be done as a Man & Father. The Most High knows your heart & would never put more on you than you can handle. Keep pushing & know that THIS BROTHER (me) has your back. Shalom ✊🏾

I have faced similar difficulties in the last 2 years; the end of a long term relationship involving my daughter and dealing with my combat PTSD by turning to alcohol, which only made things worse. I commend you for dealing with your situation and finding a process that works for you. I only found your page today, my 8 month mark of sobriety. You have a follower for life. Thank you!

No inconveniences man. I have missed you. You're super creative and I think your accent is cool as hell. If it says anything you are the only person I've ever actually purchased plans from cause I feel like you deserve the support . I got your couch, bed, and vanity in my house. That always sucks to hear man. You got to take care of you man. And it's perfectly cool that you took a break from RUclips but especially in your situation I hope you've got a strong support team of close people to help you through the hard times. Your only obligation should be yourself. We can come second. Peace.

I’m glad I am a subscriber, so I could catch this in my feed. I’ve enjoyed your diy videos very much, and that would have been more than enough. So, this is above and beyond that. It is making my day to see a young man being straightforwardly candid about the kind of thing that so many of us can relate to, but may feel embarrassed or awkward letting others (especially other men) know about it. You are a great example to others, and especially your own kids, for acknowledging your difficulty and seeking help from experts, and doing so openly, but with no self-indulgent whining or manipulative self-pity. Good man, and best going forward!
    Uhh… okay… uh… well, back to building now😄

Things happen in humans' lives. The fact that you sought out what works for you to deal with the situation and moved ahead. I'm glad you came out the other side VICTORIOUS. Strength is in how a person accepts the hardships, learns, and moves on. Being there for your daughter will be a shining example for her with the type of man she accepts in her life. Stay strong, brother. We're pulling for you. 🙌
