as far as i know is not james' job, at least no in the studio, and mike and john doing back vocals it's ben like that since falling into infinity, and actually although not credited i think petrucci does back-up in the silent man, and he does does it in live perfomances of that song. sorry for my bad english
well said Navorek but with dream theater portnoy is a good singer and hes been interviewed about being lead singer in some songs and he doesnt want to, now daron malakian of system of a down has a huge ego and thiunks hes amazing and hes not that great at singing, dont get me wrong i loooovee soad but daron needs to lay off especially in mezmerize/hypnotize
