I used JBL 9.1 almost 2 years that was great soundbar but i bought Q990B 2 days before with Samsung QLED this is unbelievable product. Produce wonderful bass and voice of dilogue is very crispy . This is world's no 1 soundbar beleave me.

i am about to buy Hw 990 b in a day or two . Any other issue you've faced with this sounbar for LG tv's . I have a LG c9 tv and i will connect all my devices(ps5, 4k bluray player) directly to my LG c9 Tv through earc and then select passthrough in Tv audio settings . I belive you are also doing the same . My main concern is that i get full fat Dolby atmos through Lg c9's passthrough mode. Please suggest . or any other suggestions you would give with your experience would be very helpfull. I had earlier Hw q950 t and it gave me lot of troubles , i am just worried that Hw 990 b does not give me same troubles as it is a serious investment.

Hi, since your soundbar is a new one you have two years of guarantee. Try to replace the whole system. Probably the problem is not on the rear speakers but on the main unit. Sorry to hear about that.
I have purchased q990b after such great reviews. I just wanted to know about 2 surround speakers. Inspite of putting rear channels at highest level of 6, I am getting very less sound in surround mode. Is it the default way of surround speakers?
They are designed that way. They get plenty loud in movies but not in music. This is because most of the music is 2 channel stereo that is than upmixed by the soundbar . I play mine on adaptive most. It's the best for both music and movies.

@@sanjaykumar-ky2ro as someone who have own N950 Q96/90R and currently Q950T, what I can tell u is if you can get the q96R for much cheaper (30-35%) than the latest q990b get it. If money is no issue then go for the latest and greatest. I upgraded each of them only after them being in market for over a year. Launch price 1200/1499 euros, after a year 600-800, sometimes even cheaper if bought in outlet.

I have the 950A and it is good and no wireless connection issues on the rear speakers.I read many people having problems connecting rear speakers on the newer 990B. Other Samsung soundbars have had connection issues in the past and they have not been fixed, so maybe a design issue on the new model? Also, where I live the older 950A is 850 euros...much less expensive than the new 990B. People also losing connection with the subwoofer.
great video but I have seeing all the dust and fingerprints all over it drives me mad, The remote is covered in particles why does everything these days attract so much lint and fibre's it send my OCD into overdrive it's nutts
I am a bit disappointed. It's no upgrade than Samsung Q90RXu yes it has little more noise but the sub is exactly the same inside. Bass is kind of less punchy in my comparison though. I am returning it such a shame we always blame Apple for no real upgrade every year but Samsung it pretty much the same. It should either have 2 subs or a bigger more powerful sub.

They made the rear speakers too big. It’s a lot bigger than the speaker drivers. The Vizio Elevate has more compact rear speakers that probably even sound better than the Samsung ones even though they’re wired. I don’t care about wireless rear speakers at all. Most people don’t have extra outlets in their rooms. Most bedrooms have about 4 outlets. I think it’s unnecessary for wireless rear speakers. It just increases the costs. The Vizio in my opinion is better. Also, I would choose the Vizio Elevate over the Samsung HW-Q990B because it’s $900 cheaper. The Vizio looks more appealing, more compact, and simpler. I like how the speakers can rotate. The Elevate seems way better built than the Samsung. The subwoofer is much more powerful than the Samsung and it’s the same weight. Even though the Vizio isn’t 11.1.4, it does sound a lot better and cleaner for a 5.1.4 system. It can also play at 107DB with no audible distortion and barely any pumping and compression. I would rather choose Vizio for a soundbar. I’m really happy with my $188 Vizio V51x-j6 5.1 home theater soundbar. It goes down to 50HZ and it’s not boomy at all. It’s really loud and punchy. It rattles my room.
@@hxosplus do you have a link to a paper speaker in the crutchfield catalog for home or car that shows quality? I can't find a non coated, plain paper one like the ones that come in the Samsung. Usually all stock speakers in car systems are paper and thin gauge wire. They are fragile and offer poor longevity. Since you've opened up both and played around with the insides... Which has better quality components and craftsmanship.... Sonos or Samsung?

It's a problem of synchronization between your TV and the soundbar. Usually it's an incompatibility from TV.

This soundbar is very mature compared to the previous Samsung models.
It would be interesting to deploy fm radio in these soundbars, just like that I would change my setup from Onkyo HT5400 7.1 channel 1030w rms.
The issue of disconnecting back speakers is very serious in Korea.Check if the connection is intermittent
...some people also have problems with subwoofer disconnecting.

Those surround speakers are tiny - they look high quality, but very little indeed.
Size can be deceiving...
not really when compared to some other companies they are a good size. and the drivers are still bigger than on the soundbar
Not tiny at all. The 950a rears are excellent at +5 volume placed each side of the couch.

Paper woofers are high performers. Even high-end speakers have paper cones.

This soundbar is trash. I bought one and the subwoofer died almost immediately. Very poor quality.
