My 16 month has an amazing appetite too! I will definitely take note on your food ideas. Love watching your little girl eat. Please don't pay attention to any of these people with negative comments. Every child is different and perfect in their own ways.

I’m currently working remotely and have a pregnant wifey who needs lots of rest..and boy do I relate with you ladies now lol I love the stay at home dad feeling! It’s not big in my culture for men to be so nurturing but I couldn’t love it anymore me and my little angel have grown so much closer! And mommy needed a break! Great video currently trying to find as many meal ideas as I can ahah

For those frustrating moms after watching the video, it is really not about how well you cook, it is about how well you know about you child. There are some cute kids with good appetite eat everything, and also some picky eaters spit out everything even mommy is a excellent cook. The point is to create a relaxing vibe when eating with them. I don’t encourage to have kid watching tv while eating either, they won’t focus on food but screen

The pouches and the snack cup thing are a nice thought. I got some thinking it would be a not so messy, convenient way to have some treats when we are out. I tried both out at home a couple of times first. The pouches he seems to enjoy watching them squirt out rather than eat, unless I put them in his mouth myself and squeeze myself which totally defeats the purpose. The snack cup thing I put some puffs in it, but he prefers to just put his hand in and take it out and put it in and take it out. When he takes it out he messily takes out a punch of puffs at one time and just throws them all over the place.
To preventie choking, grapes should be cut in four parts, in the length. Just cutting it in two parts through the middle is still a massive choking hazard.
Every baby is different.
Aiana has a full set of teeth and knows how to chew. I am also watching her all the time while she eats. Cutting the grapes in half is fine for her and she knows how to eat grapes. For us, Aliana doesn't have any problems eating grapes that concerns us. Every baby is different, and if you feel that you need to cut the grapes in a different way for your baby, please do so they won't choke.
@@MamaBirdandTribe grapes are a high choke hazard. Many kids in kindergarten still have them cut to prevent accidental choking.

Confident not equal to “accident won’t happen” , My 15 months baby also knows how to chew, why should I insist not cutting grapes but take that risk? Grape is different with other food, it is high risk food because the smooth surface n perfectly round diameter which could block completely the trachea⋯
I just wish if my 20 months old baby would eat like that. He hates all kind of meat, fish, chicken. The only veggie he loves is broccoli. God bless her
I had a picky eater and what I did was keep serving her the foods and it took almost a year and she eats pretty much anything now. Just keep trying and hang in there I know it's hard.
AcadienGirl 89 i do that with my toddler but at this point I’m about to give up🤦♀️she hates everything the only thing she’ll eat is crackers and hotdogs, any food she use to like she hates now
I completely understand some kids are more stubborn then others you do what you need to and they will be fine.
My son is almost 13 months and he LOVES veggies. We haven't found a veggie he doesn't like. Eats artichoke, kidney beans, chickpeas, peas, broccoli, celery! Lol just today he favored his celery over his Mac n cheese. We just made sure to include lots of veggies when he started solid foods. We would season them but now he just eats them steamed and plain or raw.

Wow what a cutie and such a good eater!! I see that you cut the grapes in half which is great, but to avoid choking they need to be cut lengthwise! I didn’t know this until my son began eating solids-something about the skin on the grape + the shape & size is the perfect seal for a child’s throat to choke 😩

My 17 months old girl is not a great eater, but is really picky.
Even she eats a lot in a meal time, she keeps asking and asking for more between meal time. So I give her nutritious food like fruit, tofu, veggie muffin, corn, and stuff like that. But I try not to, because she won’t eat so much for meal time if she has too much food. But it is so difficult to control that, because everyday is so different. My friend’s baby same age also eat a ton!! Constantly asking for food and is 30lb already. She is very healthy and not chubby at all. She is tall and her dad also weighed that much when he was young. So it makes a lot of sense. It is really depend on each baby and family.
Mine is 19lb and barely within the range. But she eats a lot throughout a day like yours and still not gaining so much. Mine is also very active.

Love this video! My daughter is the same age! I wish she had your daughter's appetite sometimes! 😂 The purple over white definitely made me super anxious! We just got a new rug, and i wont even allow snack foods on there! I do enough cleaning 😂😂 you're doing such a great job, mama!

Kids appetites always fluctuate...and y’all have to remember that she didn’t consume every single thing that was given to her. My guy can eat and eat and eat and then 2 days later not want anything. They are growing...it’s normal. And the foods that she’s eating are healthy for the most part!!
My son will be 15 months old in ten days. It amazes me how much he can eat in a meal sometimes. He’s always been on smaller side of the weight percentiles, but the pediatrician says he’s growing fine. Not a roll of baby fat on him but not overly thin either.

Though seems like she eats all day, but I didn't see she finished any of the meals. And I think she probably likes food with low calories so she seems like hungry very often. And the habit of watching TV while eating, I think it is not healthy for toddlers even though we as adults do that all the time :D
What is the frozen fruit pacifier that she has? I didn't see it in the list of toddler products and I'd love to buy that! My baby is teething now too.

I think she is eating just fine, i dont think some people realize this is just a short clip of what she eats and does in a day.
I've seen babies who ate a lot and some that ate minimal that turned out just fine. Every baby is different. I don't think some people realize that what drs recommends is just a guideline as well when it comes to how much a baby should and shouldn't eat.

You def. need to cut those grapes more. Round even cut can cause choking. She is one healthy baby! Your a good mom!
what cheese did you use for the mac n cheese?
She has a great appetite for a variety of foods. So cute watching her balance the grape on her spoon! My 17 month old can just barely use a spoon and will practice poking a fork at his food, unsuccessfully though.
It takes practice. She was having so much fun with the grapes. Aliana still picks at her food with a fork but loves using the spoon all the time

I noticed at some point your baby spat out the salmon after chewing, what do you do about that? My 12 month old baby does that all the time, he ends up eating almost nothing in the end... I'm so frustrated :(

Honestly surprised that not one single comment mentioned how much screen time this 15 month old is getting. I’m not one to criticize another mother but it seems excessive to me. We do allow some screen time but never while eating to promote healthy eating habits, such as being aware of what and how much we’re eating.

exact same....my boy just turned 2.....and he has realy bad reflux.has done since birth he can only eat puree food.he gags and sick if I offer other lumpy or soild food.....
