Got to agree about playing a gig instead of attending one. Phones are a nuisance, people shoving them in your face instead of making conversation, or just enjoying the moment. Why bother really? Cheers!
Hoping to see Hugh Cornwell play in November in the UK. He's obviously not going to be anywhere near as energetic as he once was, but I love the music he wrote with The Stranglers and think he's great.
The Digital Sex compilation is excellent. The large number of songs allowed me to hear the changes the band made along the way. Many good songs. My only beef is the occasional over-affectations of the singer, who carries the tunes in a way typical to the era. I'd like to see a live performance today. Hell, I'd play these tunes for free.
