Gavin, this is a masterpiece! I'm saving this to my playlist of booktuber recommendations so I can always go back and watch it when I'm in the mood for a middle grade. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING US THIS AMAZING WORK! 💙
@@GavinReadsItAll I've sometimes thought of rereading it and other similar books from my childhood but I'm a little afraid to in case they don't hold up to my memory!! I would be interested to see your opinion if you ever read it though.
I absolutely adored Amari and the night brothers- I am so glad I bought it based on your recommendation. This was a great recommendations video Gav!. I also loved the entire Frostheart series and The Hatmakers. 🥰
I’m doing an A-Z reading challenge for a discord book server I’m in, and I’ve been on a middle grade kick recently. This is amazing! The books I’ve pulled from this list have been amazing so far. Thank you!
I really want to read Darwin’s Dragon 😍 I’m adding so many of these to my TBR 🙈 Oh and I’m currently reading (listening to) The Hatmakers and I’m LOVING IT 😩💕 Ohhhh The Mysterious Howling was a 5 star read for me! I read it last month and now I can’t wait to read the rest of the series ☺️
Love the great book recommendations for myself. But especially for my students that often struggle with reading. I have been searching for quality books that would peek their interest. I just did an A to Z book tag but I love your spin on it with just middle grade books. I might do this as an activity with my student. Thank you!
So many gorgeous covers! I am impressed you fit this many books with descriptions in less than 20 minutes. Currently reading Root Magic and I’m loving it!
During the pause in "I" I was shouting "INKHEART!" I hope to re-read that series this year, just tracked down the original hardcover of Inkdeath as prev borrowed from the Library, thanks World of Books. But the new copies on Gav's shelf also look so gorgeous!
Aru shah city of gold Brightstorm by vashti hardy Castle of tangled magic by Sophie anderson City spies by James ponti Frostheart by Jamie littler Frost hollow hall by Emma carrol A glasshouse of star by shelly marr
I knew amari and the night brothers would be on here hehe :3 I need to read castle of trangled magic as well and the girl who drank the moon D: Jumbies too. I like the mix of popular books but also lesser known middle grade recs too :) King and the dragonflies has recently been on my radar and it sounds right up my alley. Also THANK YOU for the arachnophobia warning I wish more people did that it would save me a lot of trouble. I have pinch of magic so it is only a matter of time!! I read Rumaysa a week or so ago and it was lovely and feminist ^.^ Tilly and the bookwanderers is another I have and it's only a matter of time.
I finished Amari today and I'M SO THANKFUL TO YOU FOR RECOMMENDING THIS BOOK! IT IS SOOOO GOOD ♥️♥️♥️ That's why I love your channel and you so so much. Thank you for all the recs and the amazing video 😍
have you read any of the Hermux Tanatamoq adventures books? It seems like not a lot of folks know about them and they are such comfort books for me. If you like middle grade, you should read them. They're just so charming and whimsical.
Gavin this video is extremely wholesome!! Well done!! Also on another note I forgot Americans and British say 'z' differently so that through me for a loop at first, until I was like of right he's not American 😂
What the heck, I didn't know there was a Kiki's Delivery Service book?! Definitely need to get that! This was such a great video and now my wishlist has expanded a heck of a lot 😁

Loved this video ... I could have handled a 2 hr video, love all your recommendations in fact can't get enough even though you are sending me broke lol... I just bought Amari on your recommendation .. can't wait to read it. Your hair is getting long 😊
Why do I watch recommendation videos? On a book buying ban until my local bookstore opens again or I have read 50 books whatever happens first. Now I have a even larger list of books to get at this rate I am going to have to take.a suitcase bookshopping with me
26 times 4 is..... a really long video. Haha I loved that comment! Ok time to watch the rest of the video now (also I think most of us would be ok with a really long video)
I'm a 41 year old who enjoys middle grade books, due to dyslexia I can never remember what I have read,so books aimed at a young audience I can remember.Has anyone else got any other recommendations please.x
I don't need any more recommendations, but am I going to watch anyway? Yes.
A great attitude to have ✨

Ooo yeah I’m sure there’s going to be something they’ll find in this video that they’d love to read ☺️
Would love a second video to get even more recommendations! Maybe A to Z by author? Or even repeat A to Z by title!
Well my wishlist has grown again...! (I read The Queen's Nose when I was a kid. I seem to remember enjoying it!)
Oooo it would be interesting to see if it still stands today

Amari!!! I still need to start Aru Shah. Love the cover of City Spies. I still haven’t read Dollmaker yet.
The Girl Who Drank the Moon!!!
During the pause in "I" I was shouting "INKHEART!" I hope to re-read that series this year, just tracked down the original hardcover of Inkdeath as prev borrowed from the Library, thanks World of Books. But the new copies on Gav's shelf also look so gorgeous!
