Every person in Delphi must of watched this footage over and over . I cannot comprehend that his wife and daughter did not recognise him? His walk, his clothes , his voice?
Yeah, I agree. It's very difficult to believe his own wife didn't recognize him, not to mention other citizens of Delphi. He worked with the public. How is it possible no one recognized him?
Most likely, he had his family so fooled that they would have never considered he could be capable of such a thing. On the other hand, denial quickly kicks in when certain situations are too difficult to face.
Yeah, its baffling , i really hope the police got it together this time
@@Bees123Knees If she did know, she should be charged with something.
Cognitive dissonance it's scary...😐
Dennis Rader and Gary Ridgeway never moved away either. Dennis Rader lived in the same house for something like over 30 years. These people are over confident in thinking they will never get caught.
Gacy as well.
Denis Radar exhibited some clues of his psychopathy. He deliberately euthanized a woman's dog that he stole from her yard when he was an animal control officer. He enjoyed killing.
I disagree. Moving away only draws attention to one's self.
He literally sat there and watched himself get away with it for years. I'd be very surprised if he hasn't done it before. This crime is soo brazen and severe that it's almost unlikely for a first timer. I bet this is just the beginning of a huge case nobody saw coming.
Great point! And true.
I can’t imagine the horror those girls went through. Especially the second girl, because she had to see what happened to her friend. I wish nothing but horror and pain for the monster that took their lives.
While I could accept that, what would you accept when it comes to people that are innocent during the investigation? That is often the big question.

@@skagenpige88 I see what you're saying. I don't wish ill on this guy until he's convicted in a court of law. However, if he's convicted, I hope the rest of his life is awful.
Now they say a weapon was used, otherwise it's too bad that girls don't react instinctively with ferocity. There were 2 of them and at 14 probably had attained full growth. They might have stood a chance if they attacked him together or at least left damage and evidence on him.
This case is what nightmares are made of… Just look at that bridge, surrounded by wilderness. Now imagine you’re alone on there, being stalked, you’re trapped with no where to run, helpless and scared and this evil monster is coming after you.
Horrific what those sweet girls went through. RIP Abbey and Libby. ❤️
@@sharonmorine5407 It needs to be torn down. When they show pictures of it, I can’t stand it. It looks so creepy and dangerous. If I lived in in Delphi, my kids would NEVER be allowed anywhere near that bridge, or in those woods.

@@lisaharrison9946 I heard a podcast saying that one or both girls were not allowed on the bridge but they snuck to it anyway. No way would I allow my teen daughter to go hiking alone...not in this day and age. RIP to the poor Souls. 🕊 🕊
I think Allen was a lone wolf in this situation… nobody helped him, he was doing a fine job by himself.
I believe this was not his first attack, nobody starts with 2 victims. Many men can be serial killers and blend into to the community very easily.
Zodiak killer seems to have killed 2 people, adults even his first time.
I think he is likely a serial killer that acted alone as well. I think he also did the Evansdale murders as there is a very creepy pattern between the two of them which doesn't just include the kidnapping of two girls and murdering them at a second location. That alone is extremely rare for a serial killer to have an M.O. where he takes multiple victims at the same time and murders them at a secondary site; however, what is especially creepy is how related the dates of the two crimes are. Evansdale murders happened on 71312 while the Delphi murders happened on 21317. The pattern being you take the date of one of the murders and read it backwards, you get the date of the other murder.
@@soysaucehairdye7869 interesting idea
Kegan Kline definitely helped him as those pedophiles work in groups all over the country! Kline hid in FL after he set the girls up for Richard. The trial will be very telling!
I don't think he did it alone. Keegan Kline lured then there
Dr. Grande. I thought it was a very clever idea the way you worked off of the Delphi population and shredded it down to 1/120. That really narrows it down! Great job!
That’s what amplifies the total cluelessness of this “investigation.”

Serial killers rarely run, that would defeat the whole purpose, hiding in plain sight and reading about themselves and being the center of attention is far more important than the actual killing.
Yes he would have got a lot of enjoyment reading about it and watching the community be hurt
You speak like you know from experience. 😕
he would talk with everyone about it because everyone was talking about it. i mean, its a really small town. im from a really small town about the same size. there are only a handful of places to go. he lives very close to Abby's house, the railroad tracks that lead to the bridge, the highschool, a bar he went to regularly where libby's family would go. libbys sister worked at the dairy queen down the road from CVS. also, libby looks a lot like his daughter.
From where are you getting, serial killer? Killing two people at the same time doesn't make anyone a serial killer. For that, they have to have other instances of murders.

I will add one possible correction - I have heard others speak about how there was some evidence that Libby and Abby had been interacting online with someone and had an arrangement to go to this area to meet up with the person. If that is true, it means the killer thought and planned ahead for quite some time before acting.
It's believed that Kegan Kline ratted out Richard Allen, even more so now that prosecutors want 5 counts of child *orn dropped against Kegan. Only time will tell.
All true Martha!
There's no telling who the girls chatted with. Teenagers do things like that and old gross pervy men try to take advantage of them.
Keegan Kline had chatted with Libby on his fake page the day before she was murdered!!!
Yeah Kegan Kline is said to have communicated with Libby the same day that they disappeared. But LE also said that the fake account he made up was possibly shared with other weirdos.
I’m glad there’s been some kind of activity on the case, as this has haunted so many of us. It’s nowhere near finished yet, of course, but I said a prayer wishing those families peace and solace when I was watching this. My heart goes out to them.

One thing many have noted is that he has a daughter who closely resembles one of the victims.
Thanks Dr Grande, your analysis is always appreciated.
The Claremont Serial killer in Perth Australia posted cryptic messages on his facebook page. Something like thanks for a great night out ladies with no context.
Yes, there could have been more than one person. Just because, I feel like the girls could have outrun him or fought back. Unless he had a gun. Why are there sicko creeps in the world? Poor girls and their families. If it is indeed him, he needs to rot, then fry then rot again, accordingly......
Well, when this first happened the public was told that the suspect was a man in his early 20s with a full head of hair. Rich was a severely balding 45 year old man, with gray hair. So I imagine he felt pretty comfortable. Feel like the police really messed up with that original mugshot / description.
True, but a lot of Indiana residents look very similar, part of why Bridge Guy was such a mystery. There's a real phenotypic stamp across the Midwest, haha
To add to that, he apparently went to that bar (with the police sketch) SEVERAL times a week. Seems he thought he was untouchable.
I have one interesting comment. When I was stationed in Virginia while in the U.S. Navy. There was a murder of a hotel clerk and the guy arrested a week later was actually interviewed by the local news channel and on the 6 o'clock news! He was there outside the hotel with onlookers AND was interviewed! That is really crazy! I thought how awful. Is there some type of enjoyment a killer would get from doing this? I remembered this news story when this man was arrested for the Delphi murders. To me, it seems he may have been getting some enjoyment out of living right there in the town. Just my thought. Thanks.
Serial killers enjoy the secret fame
It's common also arsonists
Ted Bundy. Very common trait with these warped minds.
This particular type of criminal inserts himself into the investigation early on to see if he can learn what police know and what direction the case is going. They also like to pretend to be helpful witnesses to police. Police are on to this type and always get the names of everyone first on the scene to be interviewed later. I'm sure Richard got a kick out of listening to people talk about the killings thinking he was the smartest person in the room. The best example of this that I have seen is when a law student named Lauren in Georgia went missing. As police searched for her a reporter interviewed one of her neighbors. The reporter mentioned to her neighbor Stephen that dismembered body parts had just been found in their apartment dumpster. You can very clearly see him go white, sputter and stop talking. This was because he thought the trash had already been picked up. He was arrested and convicted.
Stephen MacDaniel did the same thing.
Well, as a mom almost every man I see is suspicious in my eyes! I watched so many cold cases where the criminal is just an average man who turns into an evil monster as soon as they get a chance!! So I don't let my kids do sleepovers or stay at a relatives house alone. Now days it's better to not trust anyone because regretting it later won't bring back your loved ones!!!
Love the mathematical breakdown! Perfect!
Boy Dr. Grande, you NAILED this one! Not only is this crime so disturbing that the entire country has followed it for the past 5 years, but now the suspect is completely disturbing because he was hiding in plain sight and nobody had any idea! As always, thank you so much for your time and sharing your thoughts! I value your opinion and outlook greatly!
You said it yourself, he has a wife and a family… he has a whole job and life there… and if he really did appear as normal as everyone said, there’s a huge chance his family didn’t know and trying to get them all to move would have raised alarm bells.
I was so excited to see an upload about this. The one thing though is it wasn’t a chance encounter the Instagram accounts and Snapchat accounts told where they were going to be and at what time. It’s going to be such an interesting trial..it’s stranger than fiction. It’s just so crazy he was able to do what he did and his wife had no clue from the video that was her husband I’m sure he wore that jacket many times? And how did he not get blood on it. Beyond sad. I wish you could talk more about this dr grande I’m addicted to your videos!
Earlier my partner and I were talking about his wife not recognizing him. Even if it was blurry I would absolutely know if it was her. I know all of the clothes she owns and even if that wasn't the case I would know just by her walk/voice. I feel like that's normal with spouses.
In conclusion: On some level she absolutely knew.
but wouldn't they have seen who in the area fllowed the girls on instagram and caught up with him sooner?
See this a lot in reference to the wife, but have to remember LE put out a one second video and four words. Not sure I can blame anyone in that town even the wife for not recognizing him with such little to go on.
Some speculate his wife turned him in..I say maybe...or KK
Exactly. I would def recognize my bf even if the footage was grainy, I would recognize his clothes, stature, gait etc. There's def so much more to this story.
He DID have a problem with alcohol abuse. He entered voluntarily into a treatment program about a month after the murders (at least that's what's been reported on the internet 🤷🏽♀️). I'm a recovering alcoholic and my dad and brother died from alcoholism (so I'm pretty familiar with the issue, unfortunately). I'm wondering how he masked those types of urges if he was a regular drinker. I mean, alcohol doesn't turn regular people into monsters, but I feel like there had to have been some red flags for those close to him, especially while he was under the influence. However, I'm not a psychopath, so maybe I just don't know how to hide those types of proclivities...
I believe he has been twice to rehab
@@irisjasmincook6918 Yes, this is what I picked up on from different articles re: people who knew him. I am a RECOVERED alcoholic and people who relapse again and again have often developed serious "Jekyll and Hyde" personalities. I am as glued to this case as everyone else, but this angle interests me greatly as there is so much here that doesn't seem to match up with who he is. I really hope the police have ironclad evidence and that all this isn't some kind of overreach. in the hopes he would confess.....because he isn't. He is doing what Barry Morphew did and its smart: shut your mouth and get a good lawyer.
Alcohol reduces inhibitions.
Drugs and alcohol play a part in more crimes than we know. Police usually don’t test, because it can be used as a mitigating factor by defense lawyers. Not saying he’s not a horrible person. Alcohol does have a disinhibiting factor in impulses. Some drugs, like meth, can induce psychosis.
So you also know many families try to hide the drinking and the antics. That picture of his daughter on the bridge, though....
This has been the absolutely most frustrating case. We know virtually nothing except two girls were murdered and this guy was arrested and that's really all we know.
That's it.
It's because it's an active homicide investigation. They won't let evidence known until they have a solid prosecutable case. We will find out during the trial.
A rare voice of reason! People are just speculating wildly. It’s somewhat disturbing to me.
Look into the Keegan link. Your head will start spinning. I absolutely believe after his interrogations there are more involved. Now suddenly 5 charges are dropped a river was searched and Allen arrested. It’s a deep rabbit hole but go to verified reports.
@@grl9917 what wild speculations are there?

I've been following this story since it started. As a crime junkie I've never been so invested in a crime. I also have family that lives there. Ive heard every detail, every suspicion, etc. I was elated they found who did it and made an arrest. However police still keeping everything very secretive , and will be a couple years before a trial even. And I also didnt want liberty's bravery and intelligence of recording him to be in vain. And it wasnt. Hope for the guilty verdict and strength of prosecutors. 🙏
Maybe you have an opinion on the part I don't understand. How come he was never suspected? He looks exactly like the photo and first sketch! He lived right there near the bridge. It was a tiny population of people to examine. Nobody ever put two and two together on this guy, after all these years?
They found a shell in between the girls and found a gun in his home that matches. He was interviewed almost right away and said he was in area.. his car was spotted... But did not see the girld
Richard Allen was residing in Piru, Indiana in 2006 when 18 y.o. Jorden Sopher disappeared from Wabash. Her remains were found 3 years later near a creek in Piru. Allen moved to Delphi in 06. The creepy thing is Jorden looked like Libby but with red hair.

Could very likely be the case. I didn't find much about her death only that her body was recovered after 3 years. Any suspects in her death? Too much of the coincidence that A moved to Delphi the same year this girl went missing.
Why don't we just charge him with every unsolved crime in the US? Lol
Developing pictures and not charging was meant to build trust. This gave me chills. He may certainly be a psychopath.

I have too a few times. Yes, in a court of law he is presumed innocent until proven guilt. Let’s hope they have evidence that proves it beyond doubt. I believe they probably have some pretty strong evidence.
I agree with Dr.Grande that is man could be a psychopath who fantasizes about doing something like this and finally had an opportunity.
But, there is one question of- what was going on in his life at the time of the murders. Did he have built up resentments or anger toward someone in his life at the time? Add stress- sometimes ppl just snap under long term stress and duress.
The psychopathy is more plausible though in this case. One day, we’ll hear some real answers.I have a suspicion it’ll be awhile….

Small towns are very unique places that can harbor mysterious and dark realities. There are more people involved - who have yet to be named - than this one individual thought to play a role in this horrible act.
I believe Kegan Kline tan a ring of pedophiles sharing fake profiles to target girls. I wonder if RA has murdered other girls? These groups go to other states to trick kids into meeting them!
Sounds like you watched too much Twin Peaks. Small towns are perfectly good places to live, crime rates are much lower than in big cities. This type of crime is rare. That's why it got huge media attention. I doubt that there are more people involved, not in killing. Maybe someone helped to transport the bodies to the location where they were found. But still I believe there was only one perpetrator.
You’re just speculating. You don’t really know that. You truly don’t know if Richard Allen even did this at all!
Once you look into the Keegan link I suspect it was a ring trading pics of minors. Based on Keegan’s interview now suddenly 5 charges dropped and Allen arrested. The text messages, ski mask incident, all verified by interrogations it’s a lot bigger then just Allen. I can now understand the need for a temporary seal of information.
@C R I just wanted to say that I know what you're referring to. It would shock the masses if they knew how many high profile cases we see on the news are directly related to such activity. That aspect of these high profile cases are intentionally kept out of public awareness.
The cops Asked the guy on the bridge to come forward and Richard Allen came forward he said he was on the bridge that day but the cops said he wasn’t a suspect
1. You need evidence (you can’t just assume or speculate)
2. You have to build a case (you can’t just guess)
3. They said they had many suspects and not one had been ruled out.
Did the people in the town know of that? I wonder if his wife knew
I’ve always wondered what the wives of predators like Allen knew, or suspected. My guess is that they may have suspected something, but didn’t know exactly what, & knew that it wouldn’t be safe to ask him.

Also, I liked the bridge puns you snuck in there, Dr. Grande 😁 (I also really really hope we get police interrogation footage from this, that would be the cherry on top)
When the police released the second sketch I think most people were under the impression that it was a corrected drawing of the same man, a lone suspect. However, after Allen was arrested and everyone realized how closely he resembles the original sketch, I'm beginning to wonder if there were in fact two killers involved in the girl's murders... The cryptic statements made by the ISP tend to back up this theory.
Yeah I wondered when Carter said they had changed their strategy in 2019 if they decided to target a 2nd individual involved in the killing to maybe put pressure on one to snitch on the other or something.
@@gerry1620 That's a very good theory, but rest assured every thing Carter did and said throughout the investigation was well thought out and with purpose.
Maybe it was a fake drawing to make him feel safer. While in reality still looking for the first sketch.
@@nemiw4429 That's what I thought. Same with not releasing all the evidence. I mean the guy stayed in Delphi only because he thought the police is on the wrong track

I know that people find it creepy that he developed those photos and didn't charge the family, but (if he is guilty) that was probably more about blending in at the time. The town was devastated, and it was just after the funeral. Lots of friends and neighbours were doing nice things for the family. It seems more like performing as part of the grieving community.
Plus people who do such horrible things will disassociate from it. Like when you fap to some really whacky porn (lesbian analingus for example) then try to forget you did.
I’ve read it was CVS decision to provide the free photos but the fact he was was the handing them over telling them free of charge is disturbing, as is the fact he was anywhere need the prescription medicines of customers there.
I knew this one was n the works! I hope that justice prevails for these girls.
I think we all knew this is a very public case that's been cold for almost 6 years and they got a sus under a week ago!! Was you really surprised
I was waiting for an update from you! I am So stoked they have an arrest and pray there's a conviction and we all finally find out what happened and why! This case has always bothered me to my core. Those poor girls
Another great video, Dr. Grande. Thank you!
Thank you for covering this Dr. Grande… You always do an amazing job!
Thank you for this update!! I knew you would end up finding out a whole bunch of crazy backstory to this case so far.. and your analysis was really thought provoking. I can’t wait till they release *all of the information and clues they found* once this is all over and the case is closed.
Love the insight into all topics Dr Grande!!!!!!
This is my favorite YT channel. Thank you Dr Grande
I've been waiting for this one. Thank you Dr Grande 👍Edit : Great analysis sir!
Hi Dr. Grande, Just wanted to let you know, I love your videos!! You do a great job. ❤
Been waiting for this one, thanks Dr. Grande.
Such an excellent analysis of this case!! Thank you Dr Grande!
Love the videos, keep up the good work ❤
Someone who visits a bar three or four times a week is going there to drink, not to play pool. The pool-playing just gives him an excuse to hang out. He no doubt was an alcoholic and perhaps his wife as well, and alcohol is a "substance."
"He guessed he'd cross that bridge when he came to it" lol you kill me sometimes Dr. Big. Like when Tubin needed to get a better grip on himself
Dr. Grande, thank you for such a great video on this case. I have been following this for a long time. I am always interested in what you have to say and your analysis of the crime.
I appreciate you updating the analysis.
I was watching law enforcement and criminal prosecutors discuss the case and they were speculating that the case took a turn after Keegan's arrest and that it's likely that the probable cause affidavit is sealed because their are other suspects. That releasing it will give them the info on what evidence they have. Seems interesting. So we won't know until things are revealed but it's quite telling that the judge recused himself. It seems like the case is more complex than meets they eye.
Yaaaasssss I knew this video would be coming thanks Dr G you never disappoint🙏 so glad for them not giving up on finding these girls killer ..this is so sad ...
Thank you, Dr. Grande!❤ you are the best around🎉
Intriguing analysis, Dr G. Thank you!
I was happy when you posted the original video on this case and I am thrilled that we are able to get another one because bridge guy is in custody. It was also nice to hear how your perspective changes as you get more information. Thanks Dr. G
I once dated a girl from delphi, IN. She was actually a neighbour of one of the victims. The whole ordeal of these girls going missing, pulling out suspects and the poor families never getting closure was genuinely scarring to everyone in that community. Really sad.
Why do people make up total bullshit stories. With some random tenuous link to the murder victim. How did you know this then mate. Was this before the murders or after? How and why would the conversation between you and your bird get to. Her coming out with her house is next door to the girl who was murdered with her mate? Getting likes of strangers online, for a made up story is a weird flex my guy.
@@EFFEZE You have NO IDEA if this was a made-up story. Personally, I wasn't there either but to suddenly jump up and accuse someone of making up a story is rather SICK on your part.
Some one had to know these people. People don't live in vacuums, even if you apparently do.
Going to be even more traumatic now. Their buddy from CVS oooooof
I heard about his arrest last week, but you're the first I've seen give us the low-down on this update. Thank you! Excellent analysis, Dr. Grande! ❤️
I thought your suspect deduction based on math analysis was brilliant Dr. Grande.
Thank you, Dr. Grande, for going over this case. I'm new to the case and have been curious about what you thought of it. I find the few details so strange. You've pointed out some pieces I've either already forgotten or haven't learned about yet.
Seriously one of the best (and most thorough) recaps of this update I've seen 👏
Interesting video. Always enjoy your videos.
Good to hear your analysis. All I've seen everywhere is this, makes me avoid it until facts are found & would rather hear your take. Sad story again. Thanks Dr G😊💞💞
Keegan Kline is still considered a person of interest as far as we know. He was in contact with Liberty. Ron Logan did lie about his alibi but he was also on probation for drink driving and was driving at the time so there was a reason for him to lie.
Thanks for pointing this out!
Not anymore he's not
Your summation is brilliant!😌
You're right. He must have derived such pleasure being the only one in that knew the mystery's answer.
Dr. Grande! I'm back! I've been on a jury for a violent crime, so I've been avoiding these videos, but we got done today so I can finally catch up! I missed you!
I always enjoy your videos Dr. Grande. So well spoken and always with the best dry humor. It's my favorite thing!
:)
Thank you for the analysis of this case doc.
Thank you for this very informative post ❤
What I found strange is when the video came out of the man on the bridge, nobody seemed to recognize him. Wouldn’t the wife or friends recognize his clothes, voice, features etc.? You can even make out his features a bit in the video.
Yeah such a small town and they can’t put that together for how many years. I am from a small town and that ain’t how we roll. We know everything about everyone and with a video and audio they would have to be out of towners. Js
Yeah. It’s such a weird situation.
I can see your point but their daughter is 28 years old. Even if the family didn’t turn him in, it’s shocking to me that neighbors, coworkers etc. didn’t recognize him in the video. He lived so close to the crime scene.
I know how corrupt the cops are in all the counties surrounding and including the county the murders took place in. There are a lot of people that are calling bullshit on this arrest. Just remember that almost any evidence can be fabricated to frame someone for political reasons. Bullet forensics has been proven to have been BS for decades. DNA evidence is not reliable. Souvenirs of a crime scene can be planted. Audio and video can easily be fabricated. As a juror, you better have some God Damn airtight evidence before I would believe any public official in today’s corrupt world. I will let a hundred guilty men go free on flimsy evidence rather than convict an innocent man. Just remember this when you are brought up on phony charges.
I can't stop thinking about his daughter and how she must feel. 😭
How old was his daughter?
@@nicoleholley7049 early twenties . Recently married I believe
Again I'm happily surprised that you're so quick with this case update. You are fascinating.
Thank you. I was hoping you would do this one.
Thank you for your thoughts, I’m glad the girls left clues or he may have never been caught.
