My favorite part starts around 8:07 ... "Maybe they intended on offering something like the fake your own death vacation getaway package." And I also liked the part at around 1:24 ... "This makes me wonder what kind of math John was teaching for 18 years."
It’s unbelievable the things people do to avoid responsibility. I think the worst of it all was lying to their sons. I can’t even imagine the pain they must have felt while growing up, believing they lost their father in a such a terrible manner just to find out it was all a lie. Those boys could have learned a great deal of sacrifice, honesty and the value of hard work if John would have owned his failures and rebuilt his life all over again. He could have set an incredible example of greatness for his sons, instead he chose to cause pain by deceiving the ones he was supposed to protect and guide. Wonderful job as per usual, thank you Dr. Grande.❤️
Another one I remember so well and couldn’t believe at the time!! I have read so many books and analysis of this case. You have nailed it in approx 14 mins . Excellent as usual. Thank you and keep them coming. How about In Broad Daylight. Murder in Sedgemore? If you have not looked into it yet ?

We are finally, home, my dear friend 😴😜🌷🌹🎋🎋✉
@@cottontails9003 😊💝🙌🌷🏡
Was wondering when you would cover this one. Thank you, from England.
Omg I can't believe you did this one!..I was just thinking about this the other day!❤ty so much!❤😀
Nice, got my daily Dr G fix!!!
Thankyou for all your hard work for our behalf, we love your stories ,council, and humor, Thankyou
Just sat down for the night, what perfect timing 👌
This needs to be a Netflix tv series for sure. So many aspects that could be amped up to make it even more interesting.
Netflix is garbage unfortunately.
I was hoping you would analyse this!
Good afternoon Dr. Grande.
The faking of one’s death to avoid consequences hits close to home. As always Dr. G elucidates life. Thanks again.
I’m confused as to why Ann was given 3xtra months more than John in sentencing. He was the actual perpetrator; she just went along. 🤨
She kept him hidden in the attic
@@mandychadwick6823 and..she was a beneficiary collecting the proceeds.
She was an active co conspirator; her role in perpetrating the deception and obtaining the fraudulent benefits was essential to the success of the criminal venture. He couldn't have done this alone. The dead can't apply for their life insurance payout.
She filed a false insurance claim, not John. It would be a bit awkward for John to file a claim when he is supposed to be dead.
The money went to her. She actively participated.
Always interesting.
Love the humor.
Thank you.
Peace 💕🇺🇲
Okay, Dr. Grande! I see you with your sponsors. Your channel is just continuing to flourish. I'm here for all of this! 🎉🙌🏾🥳
Definitely a Darwin Award winner!
Haaha, yes Catherine! You beat me to it 🤭🤭🤭
Haha beat me too
don't forget the Will Stockdale PLO and Forrest Gump awards
yep .. a Darwin for a Darwin
I just said that, too!
I think I suggested doing this, or meant to ask, so thank you Dr Grande. This was a mad case over here - you couldn’t make it up!
Very helpful analysis of this case, I followed it closely at the time.
John looked non dead 😂 i remember this one!! Much love from the UK 🇬🇧 between Dr Grande and Mr Ballen I spend my life of YT
I just got your book in the mail! I'm taking Harm Reduction to the beach in Punta Cana in May... so excited 😊
I'm going to order it soon, can't wait! I'm sure it will be amazing, coming from the mind of Dr. Grande!! Best of luck and fun on your trip, and curling up with a GREAT Book!! 🤗❤️
Also...I LOVE your screen name, so Good and creative- maybe YOU should write a book!!
Dr. Grande, do you take recommendations? And if so, where? I'd love to hear your take on the bizarre case of Cindy James. Love your content, always!
I really enjoy all your videos. Thank you so much.
Thanks, Dr Grande, I've never heard of this case before. John really got around for a dead guy.
“Denn die Todten reisen schnell” --- Bram Stokers, Dracula.
Thank you! I remember when this happened, but had forgotten about it.
Never heard the latter parts.
Love your videos. I am never disappointed. And over the last week or so watching you kind of washes away the Will Smith Jada Pinkett unpleasant residue. 😵💫
You're on a roll today, Dr. G. 😂😂💯👍👉❤️
Thank you for case and the hard work you put into this! I appreciate it
Thank you for covering this case, I remember it coming to light in the UK. It was stunning how much the couple lied, and they way they adapted the house to hide him. Plus lying to their sons for all that time.
Thank you for all your videos Mr Grande , very interesting. . . Can you please make a video of Glenn Gould, Canadian classical pianist.
Omg Dr Grande covering case from my home town.
Dr Grande, read the book Exit the Rainmaker. A true story of a drama instructor at some college. He was seriously in debt. Therefore he faked his death, and got a new life.
Dr Todd thanks for the in-depth analysis of this case, I especially enjoyed it as I am from the north east 🇬🇧. I have a suggestion for another case from around here, Mr Albert Dryden.
Dr. Grande *almost* cracked a smile at the part where the current wife clarified that the life insurance would be good for her. Wonder what happened to the Kansas farm?
That's been my question lol he never revisited that
Like most equestrian business adventures, it probably ended in bankruptcy.
THANK YOU DR G 😊
You are so good at choosing the people you do. Very interesting and you are always up to date and IN THE KNOW 😜lol
Thanks again for being you ♥️
Thank you for the videos they’re appreciated by psychology majors. I’m so disturbed by the Jessica Camilleri case and would love to hear your take on the personality and mental health factors
I don't understand how they could do this!
I asked if you could do this one! Im glad you did it, whether you did it by suggestions or not!
Love this man’s sense of humour!
I enjoy your analyses so much. You remain professional and objective and your plays on words are witty and hilarious; 😉absolute music to my ears. Love it.
Wow I remember this case..you provided much more info..all about bloody money..love from England 🇬🇧
The things people do for money!!
Thank you for another great video!
How on earth was that man able to get through airport security? Did he just use his old passport, or did he get a fake ID?
great job ...could you display conversions between US and UK (or otherwise)?
What conversions?
@@eadweard. pounds to dollars specifically
@@cthuthu333 Oh yeah. Rodney Dangerfield and HP Lovecraft is an odd combination though.

Perfect timing dr Grande 💙
Its so great to be back, what a weird and ridiculous story .That was the problem John, was unable to do thing skills, I have no sympathy for the parents, but I do for the sons . Thank you Dr Grande, Brilliant analysis and topic.
My favorite part starts around 8:07 ... "Maybe they intended on offering something like the fake your own death vacation getaway package." And I also liked the part at around 1:24 ... "This makes me wonder what kind of math John was teaching for 18 years."
Yes, I laughed out loud at both of them!
I love your sense of humor. :)
Tippecanoe and Tyler too!
The best (!) presentation ever - funny, witty and clever! Bravo!
🇺🇸🇫🇷🇺🇸
Grande.❤️
The arrogance of people to do something like this and think they will get away with it...
So many lessons to be learned here. Dont start shell companies in Panama could be one of them?
Great show, Dr. Grande. Great Alliteration as well. Thank you!
I always enjoy your videos, this time, your sarcasm is out of this world. I am dead serious.
Of course, the only correct response to "I thought you were dead!" is "Yeah, I got better."
"I thought I was dead, but got a second opinion"
@@rhuephus 😂🤣 This made me laugh, thanks!!! 💖
Thank you
The clever remarks in this one had me rolling. Thanks Dr. Grande.
Hilarious sarcasm in this one Doc! Nice to see a few Brit stories here, from a fan across the pond.
GEEZ Dr. Grande YOU FINALLY have a sponsored ad! Don’t hold back, use those sponsors you surely deserve it!
