- Watch this satisfying clean up of a neglected, weed infested patio.
When I called the customer and asked them if I could pressure wash their patio for free, to get rid of all those overgrown weeds... they laughed at me down the phone! I explained about the youtube channel and how the clean would be so nice to watch.
When they understood what I was offering, they giggled and accepted the request.

You do a fantastic job! I must admit that you inspired me so I bought a little pressure washer of my own and did my back patio! Came out shockingly nice and have to admit, pressure washing is addictive!!
I agree. I put my noise canceling headsets on, galoshes, and go to town. My hubs wants to take over but it's my zen time.

It’s very therapeutic I find, mind can switch off and all your interested in is seeing more and more clean bits once you’ve pressure washed
I bought myself a Karcher after seeing a good few of these videos. I enjoy it, and the neighbours want to borrow it for their steps and paths.
BUT, it isn't as easy to do, especially when you are crippled, on crutches, as it looks on YT.

Big improvement to this place! Drainage problems are a bummer, but it doesn’t seem to stop anyone from building pretty patios with stone. Using yellow stone is particularly handsome, I’m glad there won’t be any need to rip it out now that it looks brand new again.
I am certain that stone is better quality than what they could get nowadays!

Yellow! I wish we could’ve seen the owner’s expression and comments on the final job! It looks amazing, maybe you could invest in a wet/dry shop vac, to suck up all the ponding water due to the drainage problems. Plus helping to remove the residue soap suds on the patio stones.

You set yourself a good challenge. They have a happy back lawn, the back will be a cheerful area with the paving cleaned. Nice for winter. Glad it won't need replacing. Liked the paving pattern out front. As far as stones, having noted they could get grimey, someone told me they used to do things as dig out the pathways, wash the stone in cement mixers and put it back. Being able to power wash and use chemicals can be an advantage. Enjoyed the Before and After photos and your re-gleaming windows. Yes, we can tell the paving was yellow, now.
I'm amazed at the end result I didn't think it would be so nice!

Aww, now those tired parents can get a breath of outdoor fresh air with the baby in a nice clean place. You never know if a change of scene will settle a crying baby and give a desperate parent a much needed moment if sanity. The early days are so hard, no matter how much you love baby!

Wonderful clean! As you were power washing the first outline around the house and garden edge, I kept thinking: Spray for a bit, move the camera, spray a bit more, move the camera.... I'd sprinkle weedkiller twice before a cleaning, this would make the job easier for the cleaner. Now that patio is clean, a little repointing is necessary in some places so as to avoid weeds in the future. Great job!
Thanks for the tips! Weedkiller is a good idea, believe it or not, you need a license here if you want to put any weedkiller on someone else's property... but you can do it to your own as you wish! :D
I would have thought the hypo would kill off any weeds leftover.
Even in the USA people are scared to d**th of weed chemicals.
From black to yellow, and the house is clean too, as well as the playhouse too, just to add icing on top. Love your work!

Get a dandelion plucker for those cracks and the weeds will come out quick and easy and it won't hurt your fingers.

Yellooooo! I think a few of us wanted to see the owners’ reactions when they saw the finished result. I would never have thought it would come out so well.
Maybe part of the reason the patio was so grungy is from standing water. Looks like they should work on the drainage around the back. It’s probably submerged with a big rain.

How you deal with the weeds, a propane tank and weed burner touch on the end of the hose.
The heat will kill the weeds and kill the seeds in the ground.

Years ago I learned to power wash my patio and concrete driveway on rainy days. Cleans up faster and uses less house water.
