- The former Post Office executive Angela van den Bogerd was questioned at the continuing inquiry. She was personally involved in many cases and oversaw complaints from sub-postmasters. Van den Bogerd worked for the Post Office from 1985 to 2020, and personally handled many sub-postmasters' complaints about the Horizon IT system. She started by apologising to former sub-postmasters who were affected by the Horizon IT scandal, saying: ‘I am truly, truly sorry for the devastation caused to you’.

Sorry means nothing to these people it's just word nothing else
She has selective memory. Is it perjury when she lied at a previous court case stating she did not know Fujitsu could remotely access terminals but admitted today she did know?
Not half as sorry as the Post masters who were imprisoned. Saying 'sorry' has become a hollow sentiment.
Funny how these people are 'truly truly sorry' when they are caught out. Just useless words.
The only thing she is sorry for is the thought she might end up in jail
I hope she and the others who simply ignored protests that there were problems with the accounting programs are held accountable and imprisoned for their malfeasance.
Gaol is a place to reflect and atone for this monstrous miscarriage of justice.
She was a big part of the problem! Pretty Rich.
In 2023 alone, the UK imported around 5.2 million barrels of petroleum products from Russian crude oil. Russian-linked fuel was used on one in every 20 flights in the UK.
And the alternative is cheaper?
@amicizia... The subject of oil / russia has got nothing to do with the post office scandal.
🤔 Did they post it to us then ? Hehe
Too little too late love..!!
Jail her
Actions not words
Is she heck as like sorry she's been caught out send her to prison then let's see how sorry she is imprisonment for the people who worked at the post office who did nothing wrong she wasn't sorry when she did that and the heartache these people went through come full circle You've been found out now it's time to pay
Actually if you watch, ... she is not 'sorry' .. She is reading from a piece of paper out loud, that is merely a written statement that anyone could have written for her to read. When you say sorry to anyone about anything, do you bring out a piece of paper and read it ? She cannot even apologize unless it is written down on a piece of paper for her. Oh the irony of her not being able to read the e.mails she got warning her of what was happening at the time. She is doing a Manuel from Fawlty Towers > " I know nothing" !
Life in prison for all these wicked devils.
Angela would probably admit herself that her face is not happy but has been given Legal Counsel to tell her face it is happy and she is knowingly admitting that fact under duress
Prison for you
Well that was sincere and from the heart.......NOT!
“My bad g”
She even had to read it from a typed page...
Nasty, no-account lip service. People’s lives were systematically ruined. Some went to prison for a glitch.
No shame!
I'm sorry that the weather was poor today. "Sorry" means nothing at all.
Does this mean your not going to lie lol...
I don't believe her... Nobody believes her. Nobody believes her excuses... or her apologies.
Criminality was rife at the Post Office... but it was NOT the Postmasters, or Mistresses.
What a joke, misleading and dishonest, disgraceful
You really are only sorry because you have been bought out, Swansea Jack 🦢
