These two are incomparable to each other. The context and voices are so vastly divorced from each other and are rooted in different places that it is legitimately implausible to compare Miley and Lea.
I do not get why people are hating on Miley Cyrus so much. Yes, Lea Salonga sang this song so beautifully but her singing style is so drastically different than Miley which changes the tone of the song so much. Lea Salonga’s rendition is classical but Miley’s is more modern pop sound with a country twist to it. Both renditions are amazing in their own way.
