People are praising his skating but what impressed me the most is how well spoken this kid is... very articulated for a 10 year old. He got all the tools already so it's safe to say that his parents also did a heck of a job nurturing this young man. Wish you a long and successful future in whatever you do

Skating like that and having that appearance, I would be very surprised if he didn't spend a lot of time skating with people considerably older than him. If that's true, they seem to be doing a great job. I particurlarly loved that bit at the end when he says "I don't want to think about it, but I don't think I'll ever stop skating". That shows that he understands that, growing up from such a young age, he can change a lot. So yeah, I agree. Definitely not* your average 10yo.

Helmets are overrated. I've skated 20 years and never known anyone have a serious head injury. I doubt there are stats available, but head injury is not common in skateboarding. He's more likely to get a head injury playing soccer.

@@MrDavidFitzgerald David you are not a doctor. You are a guy who values style over your health. Its time to man up and put on your helmet when you skate. Its not about how often a skateboard injury occurs. Its about the consequences of hitting your head once. Its not hard to tell that flying down stairs, hitting big hills, and board sliding a rail is a dangerous thing to do. Besides why would you not want to wear your helmet? You will feel more comfortable trying tricks. So many skateboarders are so trapped in their own pride that they won't wear a helmet. No wonder so many parents don't like skateboarders because they refuse to be smart a lot of the times. They don't wear helmets, get in peoples way, and think they can skate whatever property they want. I am a skateboarder so I am not knew to this.

@@javierv.5242 when you ride you should keep your weight on the front foot, because while your back foot pushing you staying on your front foot only, so you forced to keep your balance on one foot that stay on the board, while other one is in the air. But when you push and return your back foot on the board, you can move your weight somewhere in the center between your feet.(but you also can leave you weight on the front foot as you was before, if you want to fast acceleration). When you pushing, your feet staying along the board and your body turned forward, but already a little diagonal, so your leading foot and shoulder is pointing little forward comparing to your other half of body; and when you don't need to accelerate no more you put your back foot on the board, turn your front foot perpendecularly to the board, and then turn your back foot and whole body this way, so line of your shoulders become parallel with your board. In this position your heels and toes is pressing on the concaves, so if you want to turn front you move more weight and pressure on the toes, if you want to turn back you put more weight and pressure on your heels. This is how I see the basics of riding, if it can helps you
