      Of course wearing a helmet is known as being safe but a helmt or no helmet has nothing to do with being cool. It's not about being cool, it's cause of the hardcore risk you take and that is a HUGE culture to street skating - skating raw, broken bones, skinned knees. It's like watching a UFC fight and saying, " im so happy they wear headgear, and gloves now, rather than looking cool.

      Yep, I was just saying it's his spirit when he skates. You don't have to be the highest or the most difficult when you have something special. Like guitarist who can rip. People love them? Nope. They love the guitarists and bands with great songs and feel. It's not always about wanking.

    His carve game is the steeziest carve I've ever seen. He goes so fast that he doesn't even need to pump the max on his carve.

      This Thanksgivings break I was on vacation in Vancouver then went to Steve's Skateshop and that was their local one and the owner was like Andy Anderson comes here. The coolest part of the story is the sweet lady Jenny who is the owner gave me a Red Dragon pin because she knew I would appreciate it because she knew I knew Moses Itokonnen

    I love these guys. Andy is such a great skater, wears a helmet and gets so motivated and so hyped up he just goes in. That stuff is so contagious. He got Nigel excited to try airing out, just by doing and explaining. Good vibes at the park is contagious and its making me want to go out and try my hardest on the next trick.     It blows my mind how much skating has evolved. When I was skating the boards were huge, Tony Hawk still lived with his dad, and most of us knew about 10 tricks. We were limited by our own imagination. I love this Andy guy. Killer skills and great attitude.

    Skaters are all such cool and chill dudes. And I love how they like encourage other less skilled skaters and give them tips to get better instead of mocking them. Positive reinforcement is the key to become great at anything. With guys like Andy around even I would dare to try to skate lol.

      You'd really dig Rodney Mullen. He does everything as well. Vert, Street, Freestyle. If you haven't yet, definitely check out Mullen (I'm 99.9% sure you know who Rodney is, but its still awesome to go back and watch some of his vids, I think a lot of us have forgotten just how amazing that dude is).

    I met and skated with Andy about four years ago at HB and he was as rad and personable then as he is in this video. He was having a Rodney Mullen day up on the deck and I was blown away.     My kid (11) loves this guy , looks up to him , there could not be a better role model. Thank you Braille for this , along with many other vids, has helped my kiddo to see being himself is way more important than being "cool" . Andy is way beyond cool , he is legend in the making
