I own a Corolla Altis, 2020 Suzuki XL7 and 2023 Mitsubishi Xpander. Here are my thoughts about the Xpander and XL7 for those who would like know: Handling : Xpander has better handling especially around the corners maybe because of the bigger and wider tires. almost no body roll. both have very light steering wheel and short turning radius. XL7 also is very sensitive to crosswinds, you can really feel it when driving on skyway or windy highways NVH: XL7 has better NVH for me and less vibrations especially if you hold the shift knob when you rev the engine. However, xpander has a quieter engine when you rev it but when you rev the XL7, it really sounds like a sports car haha! but both XL7 and Xpander pales in comparison with the NVH of the corolla altis. When both are travelling at 100km/hour, XL7 has better NVH. You can really hear the wind noise in the side mirrors of the xpander at these speeds while the XL7 has none. Aircon: XL7 takes the cake on this one. it is colder than the Xpander and it has auto climate controls. It also cools your drinks Headlights: XL7 also takes this one, although I installed the same 3M tint, the XL7 clearly has a better LED lighting at night especially during the rainy days. In addition, the XL7 has a leveling adjuster so you can control the headlights Comfort: Xpander has better driving comfort for the driver (especiall for long drives) because of the tilt and telescopic steering wheel and that enormous arm rest. I always feel numb legs after 2 hours of driving in the XL7 (I'm 5'8 by the way). Both are comfortable enough but when you are alone and travelling in EDSA, both are bouncy at the back because maybe of the stiff rear suspension which is understandable. cannot compare both with the comfort of a corolla altis Space: Xpander is wider and you can feel it inside but in terms of the 3rd row legroom, the XL7 is better Fuel Economy: Almost both are the same in my experience for mixed driving City and highways. If there is a difference, for me its very minimal. Safety: both have just 2 airbags, but the XL7 have side impact door beams. Interior: No question on this one, its the xpander but be careful as the piano black plastics scratches easily. mine already has scratches while the XL7 has none yet Features: I just wish the Xpander has outside temperature sensor as that of the XL7. In addition, the xpander cannot detect which door is open and you have to check each door which is open, while the XL7 can detect which door is open

Excellent and entertaining review. I'm actually at the crossroad with these 2 models that's why I checked this video out. I noticed that the engine of the XL7 doesn't have a cover on it unlike the Cross and the XL7's engine frame is not well polished as the Cross. Some say it's the "crumple zone" and the XL7 is just not that well painted, but it looks like the body frame and engine frame were welded together in that area.

I have to say that offers for your market are a bit more flashy than what we have on Europe, but other than the excess on chromed parts, I think these would do well in this market. I wonder why they don't offer them here.
Suggestion for each car take the Rush for it being it the cheapest, Corolla Cross for saving money in the long term like fuel, Xpander Cross for the space if you have a big family so on and so forth, I can't say much for the XL7 but same for the Xpander Cross but a bit smaller and a bit cheaper.

@@rjsunday yeah right, features habol mo,mid variant ng Innova un E,Rear wheel Drive and 2.8 diesel engine, depende talaga sa tao, unang tinitingnan ko makina diesel engine, sunod chassis, ladder frame un innova, its a matter of own preference, yan tech features maluluma yan pero performance at lakas ng makina maluma man yan, malakas pa din ang torque ng diesel kaysa gas,hnd din ako fan ng front wheel drive gaya ng xpander, rear wheel drive pa din sa tibay.Tinitingnan ko din presyo,1.2m is overpriced for xpander cross na accesorized xpander gls model.
The mere fact that suzuki ph stripped down some features of the xl7 where other asean countries gets that smart rearview mirror, but it doesn't matter i'd still take the xl7 any day considering the price and fuel economy plus di masakit sa mata rawr
All those useless accessories to bump up prices arent worth it.
@@casta they're simply exaggerating everything specially the xpander!!, the accessories are somewhat useless if its purpose is only for looks, i guess these manufacturers are going through the concept of form over function hehez (no hate on the expander tho)

I guess Toyota PH paid Autodeal not to include Rush because it would really look bad if you add it to this comparison.
It doesn't matter. Toyota fanboys take the most mediocre models hook, line and sinker because it's a "Toyota." I should know since I was one before.
Rush was already featured in a Comparo sometime last year, IIRC, and I don't think it's necessary to face it off again with Xpander Cross and XL7.
Probably the video compares 2 cars that are an upgrade from older models. Rush is a new model.
It was featured in the Rush vs Xpander vs BR-V
Nice comparison between XL7 vs Xpander Cross in similar orange-red colours...
The xpander is like an overdressed girl with tons of make up. The lower trimmed model looks better and the price is lower. This is not a good value proposition.
Ive been waiting for this. Also, what do youthink about maxus?
The 3rd row of the XL7 have better thigh support..The footwell is deep enough so that you don't seat with your lips almost kissing your knee for adult..It make a whole lot of difference in a long journey for 3rd row passenger..
Got my BR-V last year, had the XL7 been released during that time, I would've gladly got it instead. Don't get me wrong, I love my BRV, the engine and fuel economy is excellent, but the XL7 really seems like the best value for money.
You paid extra for the brand prestige and it’s not a bad thing. Congratulations, you own a Honda.
Honda BRV is not a bad choice.
Id get the brv 2022 over these 2 based on the features and dimension. My worry is the aftersales and reliability of honda.l, never owned one before. Specially now that they have closed the philippines factory.
Haha nice review sir caco .... though its to short but very informative....way to go....
Love the detailed comparison. More of these kinds of videos please.
The best review ever! Very clear! Now i know what we will choose and its XL7👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
superb review, thanks sir Caco and Autodeal! This is the comparo that I was dying to see, these 2 mvp's were at the top of my list whew!
thanks Caco.as usual complete and thorough "comparo ".XL7 all the way.
always the best review.. kudos to autodeal. Hope to buy my 1st car to autodeal someday. 👍👍👍
i like review your channel because you compare with the detail and say the thruth . this is good review.
I can listen to caco all day. Very entertaining 😁
This channel deserve more subs. Hahaha. Ako lang ba yung tuwang tuwa manuod on this reviews and daydreaming I have one of these car 😪
even with 2 featured cars, no wasted moment. nice comparison
I'm not even pay attention about any single car you've been reviewed. It's all about you as a great entertainer 😆
I have to say that offers for your market are a bit more flashy than what we have on Europe, but other than the excess on chromed parts, I think these would do well in this market. I wonder why they don't offer them here.
Who's waiting for this review?
Too much garnish on the XC, XL7 is better. But, I’ll take The Innova anytime. Very good review as always sir Caco and Autodeal team!
been waiting for this comparo
Thanks for the review! Thanks Mr. Caco! ☺️
GALING MAG EXPLAIN!
HINDI NAKAKAANTOK!
AFTER WATCHING THIS I AM A FAN NOW ☺️
7:15 Carl's phone fell off to the oblivion. HAHAHAHA
Wow! These two are among my dad's choices along with the toyota corolla cross and rush
Suzuki padin ciaz ko 2017 brekpad palang napalitan basta alaga sa change oil matibay at malakas parang honda city din sarap drive kumpara sa vios at mirage g4
Nice Review, super bro, please update about XL7 Indian launch? I am eagerly waiting for its launch
Its already launched in India, with an XL6 badge
pretty much the same.
interior? xpander cross
exterior?XL7
FC?XL7
value for money?XL7
You need to do a comparison for Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. 2 of the best selling rivals in car history.
Which is better suzuki xl7 or toyota rush? Please help me, I'm planning to buy a new car. Thank you!
XL7 for me as well
I choose Caco and XL7... Beside me.. Thumb. Up Sir Caco
More of this Comparo episodes please!
Pero yung target market ng Xpander Cross would be wowed by those accessories esp the chrome fuel door cover 😄
best car reviewer in the ph!
Sir , how about Xpander cross vs toyota rush?
In Toyota Rush and Mitsubishi Xpander Cross, which of the two has a higher visual on the road in the drivers view?
Which would you choose xl7 o xpander sir?
A video for first time car owners pleaseeeeeee
why autodeal never include the new honda brv?
this guy is good! The best guy auto reviewer! salute sir
More of them comparo!
XL7 definitely got me! Now, the only thing I need is money 🤣
Edit: while both cars look good, but I don't know, the xpander cross does really look over-accessorised. When I saw the white XC, I mistakenly thought it was Toyota Rush 😅
Don't we all? Anyway, I also want/need the XL7.
and a parking space as well, ahemm hehe
@@mugzee84 yep 🤣
The chrome bling bling at the fuel door looks like it's a car owned by a trying hard DOM. Lol😂✌️
Nag iipon na po ako para sa dream auto ko nga susuki XL7 at yong kulay blue po or red
