1. for car batteris with maintenance, always check the "liquid" level every 3 months. 2. after driving leave the hood open (parked in home garage) to let engine cool down and let hot ait our to help the batteries prolong life. 3. once in a while, take the car for a long drive. 4. minimized on the electronic accessories that are used when the engine is not running. 5. clean the terminals.
A good car battery care tip is to regularly check the battery terminals for corrosion and clean them if necessary. Corrosion buildup can prevent proper electrical connections, which affects the performance and lifespan of the battery. You can clean the terminals by using a mixture of baking soda and water, applying it with a toothbrush, and then rinsing with water. Make sure the battery is disconnected before cleaning to avoid short circuits. Regular maintenance like this can extend your battery's life and ensure your car starts smoothly.
my car batteries last forever. here's how i do it. whenever the car is parked it's hooked up to an automatic float charger so high state-of-charge is maintained which prevents irreversible sulfation. i regularly top up with distilled water and also check for IMBALANCE with a hydrometer (that giant medicine dropper w/ a floaty thing inside). if one or more cells read low w/ the hydrometer then i perform an EQUALIZING charge which is basically overcharging the battery w/ at least 15.0v. the full cells simply boil off the overcharge while the low cells slowly get up to 100%. then i test and log the CCA and internal resistance w/ a dedicated battery tester.
First is to make sure I have my battery tester. Test the batt regularly. Place the car in shaded area. Fastened the battery tightly. Clean the battery always to avoid corossion. Make sure turn off the lights before leaving. Then use it regularly or turn it On about 10 mins a day if not using it

Based on my experience driving my Innova once or twice every month for a total of 80-120km each drive, and my basic knowledge in electrical from studying computer engineering because I graduated last year, To keep my car's battery running for as long as possible: 1) I ensure that when driving long distances, I always make sure to allow enough time for the car battery to fully charge. For long trips on highways, driving at speeds of 70-90km/h, 30mins-1 hour is typically enough for me to charge the car's battery fully. The faster the speed, the quicker the charging process, similar to a windmill where faster rotation generates electricity more faster. 2) When idling, I ensure to leave the car engine running and let the battery charge for at least 10 minutes before turning it off, which also helps me save gas while making sure the battery is at right condition. 3) Also, I avoid parking my car under the sun as often as I can as heat can drain the battery and can impact its lifespan. 4) If I'm not using the car for around 2 weeks, I start the car engine for 30mins or more to charge the battery, because it depletes over time if not in use, and it's also an opportunity to clean my car. 5) I never ever use my car's electronics, like the air conditioner or radio or charging my phone, when the car engine is not running to prevent draining the battery. 6) Every 8-12 months, I change my car's oil at a legitimate shop like Transworld Auto Supply in our province. During these visits, I also have them check my car, including the battery.
Btw, it's not actually my car; it's my father's car. He's old and can't drive, that's why I am the main family driver. Hoping to buy my own car someday :))
Idling the car is not such a good idea. Your motor will not like it as the oil will not be distributed efficiently and you will get on the nerves of your neighbors as well as your own nerves and you pollute the environment unnecessarily.
Maganda naman ang Geely. My brother has one :) Di palang sya na market talaga ng maayos. Takot mga pinoy kumuha ng unit kasi aside from electronics. Wala pang reports na tumatagal ang Geely in the long run. 4 years palang sila dito sa pinas. But I have experience driving the Okavango. Masarap sya i drive tapos solid din yung body. Not sure about the maintenance. Ang issue lang ng kapatid ko na nasira kaagad is yung reverse parking sensors pero mura lang naman yung parts napalitan din kaagad ng Geely.

Believe it or not, this will save your battery another year or so on its life. When you lock your car, store your keys more than 5meters away from your car. Apparently, your vehicle keeps draining your batteries by searching/pairing with your keyfob’s transmitter within its range, more so when it is unlocked.
I keep my car battery healthy by making sure I turn the car on daily for 10 minutes first thing after waking up. My stock battery is still working for almost 3.5 years now. 😊

Based on my experience driving my Innova once or twice every month for a total of 80-120km each drive, and my basic knowledge in electrical from studying computer engineering because I graduated last year, To keep my car's battery running for as long as possible:
1) I ensure that when driving long distances, I always make sure to allow enough time for the car battery to fully charge.
Di nakasali yung Avanza ko. Medyo sad pero ganun talaga. 😂 Basta lagi lang pogi saskayan ko at malinis ok na ko
Sir Caco, how about Geely Okavango?
Maganda naman ang Geely. My brother has one :) Di palang sya na market talaga ng maayos. Takot mga pinoy kumuha ng unit kasi aside from electronics. Wala pang reports na tumatagal ang Geely in the long run. 4 years palang sila dito sa pinas. But I have experience driving the Okavango. Masarap sya i drive tapos solid din yung body. Not sure about the maintenance. Ang issue lang ng kapatid ko na nasira kaagad is yung reverse parking sensors pero mura lang naman yung parts napalitan din kaagad ng Geely.
Way back 2020 Okavango i think ang salarin kaya nag step up ang ibang brands sa competition. That time si Okavango ay equipped na ng mga advanced features na kaya padin makipagsabayan up to date.. kaya for me best buy padin ang Okavango this year..
Im watching this habang nakatambak sa casa 2023 avanza ko. Nalubog sa baha. Waiting sa approval ng insurance ko.. 😓😭😫
Where's the Geely Okavango?
Ford Everest base model?
hindi ako mananalo wala ako FB saka TikTok. My 2024 Montero Sport GT has Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
I can't as I don't have a car yet :D, hopefully soooooooooon. :)
What's with the snub sa GOAT ng 7-seater which is innova/zenix line up? C'mon Kako.
Whats the fuel consumption for MG G50+?
Okavango?
Believe it or not, this will save your battery another year or so on its life. When you lock your car, store your keys more than 5meters away from your car.
Apparently, your vehicle keeps draining your batteries by searching/pairing with your keyfob’s transmitter within its range, more so when it is unlocked.
Possible pala na ito ung cause kung bakit nasira agad ung Battery ng 1yr 6 months na car.. mas ok pala i off ung keyless entry.
Geez I wish we could get these cars in United States that's less than $18,000
Jetour suv 7 seater pa

How about crv?
Pag wala sa listahan sir basura po yan.
I keep my car battery healthy by making sure I turn the car on daily for 10 minutes first thing after waking up. My stock battery is still working for almost 3.5 years now. 😊
haha that's very bad! you're cold-starting when you don't need to so you're getting rich fuel/air mix which dilutes your oil w/ fuel
Mine worked for 11 years and I never did anything special to it.
2nd hand nalang basta 1st owner
Poor
