The build is really nice! I just think you should add a little bit more copper to make it fit to the portal a little more but the build itself relly fits the vibe of the base! 👍
Broooo no wayyy! Tree Chopples is my favorite character in the guide series! The character archs this season are off the hook. We got Bonezo being pulled back from the grips of Hades. Tree Chopples has so many trees to work with. The cows are happier than ever. Crops are immaculate. Vibes are pristine. Best season ever
Iron to make hoppers for each spot if you dont have a lot of iron the way wattles made his bamboo farm works early game with little iron going to nether for quartz might be hardest part need diamond pick to mine obsidian build portal to get the quartz this can be done very early game with bamboo so easy to get fuel for smelting is easy now too just using bamboo sticks to smelt or make into blocks then turn those into planks then turn those planks I to bamboo slabs and using bamboo slabs for smelting is even better early game but after building a super smelter using bamboo sticks auto fed from bamboo farm works great
@@jordaannoble3567 I don't think the extra hoppers are that big a deal. Let's say you have a farm with 8 bamboo stalks, meaning 8 hoppers. That's only 40 iron necessary to get that up and running. Doesn't seem like that big of a deal. Either way you still need to get to the nether for the quartz, but 40 iron seems manageable to me if you find a good vein or head for the mountains.
Early game if I found 40 iron I would use for armor and one hopper sword pick and axe flint and steel and a bucket and mine cart with hopper too for auto bamboo farm it's not a big deal I just said very early game very early game you could set up the bamboo farm and have a lot of wood or bamboo sticks or bamboo slabs for smelting you just need to find 3 diamonds too for diamond pick and use water on lava to get obsidian to make portal to go to nether to get quartz and I would get enough quartz to make a sugar cane farm too observers maybe enough to make 47 red stone dust 116 3 diamonds it would be great to hit Iron vain early game yes but water and one hopper is all you need to start very early game and can make changes or I would make more then one bamboo farm at least two 15 blocks long back to back with 11 blocks between them design a building around them with open roof plant bamboo in 7 rows going out from middle so if I needed more I could manually cut some down too and have it all in a cool build kinda like what wattles just made his bamboo farm check it out know what I'm talking about building wise if your low on iron a bucket flint and steel one hopper early game to have starter bamboo farm to have early game auto farm a mine cart with hopper and 16 tracks 6 of those tracks powered rails is only a few more iron needed to make the farm auto bamboo farm a hopper for each is really not needed at all do you play bedrock??? If so I would love to invite you to my world to show you my bamboo farms and other builds let me know ty but you sure could have a hopper for each one if you had the iron very early game as I was saying chunk base would help you find iron vain for seed your in to help early game look at chunk base once before you start seed your going to play but don't use after only use it to find a medium or large iron vain by spawn to help in the start of your survival world don't use for anything else ir you wreck exploring I find
Not a big deal at all there are a few ways to make a bamboo farm very early game having bamboo farm feeding a couple furnaces so you don't have to worry about fuel is great if you play bedrock we should team up and make a really cool world
Protip for copper: if you are going to want oxidized copper, let it oxidize before cutting it. It will save you space & the hassel of having to oxidize 4x the amount of copper
I've also been meaning to build more with bamboo. I haven't tried it with copper, but I get what you're going for. I do like how bamboo accents bricks. bamboo doors and trapdoors all look great on an orange brick wall. Also, my bamboo farm is made with deepslate (because I have too much of it). I also like it with bamboo accents and shroomlights
I've been in my current Minecraft world for quite some time, and finally found a forest of Bamboo. Granted, I had to travel 4,000+ blocks away from my base to find it, but needless to say, I finally have some bamboo!!
Wattles next time you have stacks of raw copper like you did at the start, try turning them into raw copper blocks to save a ton of space in your chests and your inventory :D
You should come back and put a flying machine inside your bamboo farm. i've never done one and they blow my mind. Thanks for the super fantastic content and tutorials!
Since bamboo grows so fast, you may be slowing it down by having it be taken down when it reaches a height of 3. By raising the sensors up 2 or 3 levels, I think you would get more wood outta it.
If you raise the observer one block, and then power the pistons with an observer instead of the redstone dust line, you make the farm completely (except having bamboo drop on the stalk) lossless.
The cost also increases by a lot. By adding a couple or a few levels you give each plant more of a chance to grow. The building also looks less bulky. Either way works, just a preference decision.
Welcome back Bonezo. I actually laughed when he came back. I bet he has even more tales to tell about his time/space in the intergalactical interdimensional space/time while he was away!
I was building a huge japanese castle and wanted to use stripped bamboo blocks for a tatami flooring, so I made a 20-crop-wide automatic bamboo farm in the basement just churning out blocks for me😊 I used mud blocks over hoppers and built in water sources behind so I could change out the bamboo with some sugarcane if I wanted to.
I love this guide series the most so far! If you do outposts in different areas can I put a suggestion forward for the jungle… treehouse builds on top of the trees with bridges connecting everything?
Bamboo/sugarcane farm tip: You could use only one observer that is connected to every piston and it would activate all the pistons once that one bamboo grew
Well, it definetly puts my bamboo farm to shame. I'm definetly gonna have to upgrade mine tommorow. Also, I beat the ender dragon for the first time ever today.🎉
if you're ok with losing out slightly on efficiency, you don't HAVE to put an observer for each bamboo. You can cut the number of observers. As soon as the ones that do have an observer, all pistons will trigger. So you can put an observer at every other bamboo, and sure, you'll lose a little bit on efficiency if one that doesn't have an observer reaches the ceiling first, but really not that much.
I like what you did with the bamboo farm. I’m thinking maybe to supercharge it even more you can add some Allays to pick up and deposit all the bamboo you manually harvest.
I just thought of a tip, you should really grab some sea pickles, so that next time you go diamond diving, you can easily search for that stuff, plus sea pickles can be grown
when you get enough iron you should make the back another farm and using a water bottle you can replace dirt with mud and you put the hoppers under the mud for a quieter farm for more efficiency
Do you ever start watching something and think "hang on, I'm missing something here"? Turns out this time I totally missed the last episode 😅 Don't worry, been back in time, watched the missed episode, put some money down on the Loto that hadn't happened yet, and I'm ready to go. You know it's funny, I never thought that Wattles would resort to a clips show, but that last episode was totally a clips show.... it was still good though 😂
You don't need as many observers. Just put the ceiling 1-2 blocks higher and one observer every few blocks, it'll keep the rate but you'll save some ressources.
I'm surprised you didn't make the wood showcase thingy 4 blocks tall honestly. 1 layer is the plank, 2nd layer is the log, 3rd layer is the stripped log, and then 4th layer is the Log top of the wood.
Personally I can’t stand bamboo it’s only good for ladder and chests! But wow I think you’ve pulled it off and the roof is inspiring top job! One thing about observers I’m half sure you can built it with only one that powers all pistons? 🤷♂️
I want to do the bambo farm with flying slime In order to get the slime, i need to build a slime farm In order to build a slime farm i need a bacon (farm using chunks) In order to get bacon, i am doing a wither skeleton farm😂😂
Bedrock: I learned the hard way after finishing a version of this farm that hoppers apparently don't work the same on BR. I had to relocate them so the hopper is on top. Maybe other BR players are smarter than me though 😂

THANK YOUUUU
You can also use mud blocks with a hopper underneath each block, as opposed to a hopper minecart system. It makes the farm super quiet!

Love the build wattles! You should definitely let the copper oxidize fully, it will look so good! That roof is fire 🔥
Wattles at the start of the video: no spoilers ;)
The video thumbnail:
Protip for copper: if you are going to want oxidized copper, let it oxidize before cutting it. It will save you space & the hassel of having to oxidize 4x the amount of copper
I’ve found that sandstone walls blend really nicely with the bamboo wood. Love the builds!
I love the build. The roof looks amazing! I made a bamboo and sugarcane farm combo and it works great for my needs. Excellent episode!
What would this series be without Tree Chopples? Seriously, fire 🔥 build today!
The bamboo growing through the ceiling is such a cool idea!
I've been in my current Minecraft world for quite some time, and finally found a forest of Bamboo. Granted, I had to travel 4,000+ blocks away from my base to find it, but needless to say, I finally have some bamboo!!

Love watching your videos ❤ super excited to see you sky garden when it's in full bloom!
Awesome build! I can't wait for the next episode to see the bamboo through the roof!
Also, no bonus build? 🤔 😆
You should come back and put a flying machine inside your bamboo farm. i've never done one and they blow my mind. Thanks for the super fantastic content and tutorials!
ohhh love the idea of bamboo growing through the roof top and skyward !!! awesome
Does anyone else just see a new Minecraft Guide episode and immediately leave a like before reading the episode title?
Since bamboo grows so fast, you may be slowing it down by having it be taken down when it reaches a height of 3. By raising the sensors up 2 or 3 levels, I think you would get more wood outta it.

The cost also increases by a lot. By adding a couple or a few levels you give each plant more of a chance to grow. The building also looks less bulky. Either way works, just a preference decision.
Now that you have easy access to tons of bamboo, it might be a good idea to invest into some scaffolding to use in all your future builds.
Spider farm or mob farm for the string, too.
Love you wattles. Your slightly hyper, energetic videos would make anyone want to try minecraft :)
You only need one observer for the farm, just place it in the middle and drop the red stone dust down behind the pistons and you’ll be good to go
Great build! Chef's kiss for the roof and the arches
Welcome back Bonezo. I actually laughed when he came back. I bet he has even more tales to tell about his time/space in the intergalactical interdimensional space/time while he was away!

Love the mixture of textures and colours
This build was rock solid! Love it!
I love this guide series the most so far! If you do outposts in different areas can I put a suggestion forward for the jungle… treehouse builds on top of the trees with bridges connecting everything?
thank u!!! thats a great idea! iwill keep it in mind
Bamboo/sugarcane farm tip: You could use only one observer that is connected to every piston and it would activate all the pistons once that one bamboo grew
How would you connect it to the pistons? Just Redstone lines?
Can’t wait to see that interior… some day
First redstone farm of the world! My favorite builds to be honest! When are you gonna start with villagers and iron farms?
Well, it definetly puts my bamboo farm to shame. I'm definetly gonna have to upgrade mine tommorow. Also, I beat the ender dragon for the first time ever today.🎉
The music in this episode hits so hard 🎵
I regret putting watching this off for so long
thank u!!
amazing video , the colour pallets is unexpected , most splended build
:)
thank ya!

Just built a bamboo farm a few days ago. cant wait to see some of the future builds you make with the bamboo wood
Wow! A guide episode Sunday football, it’s gonna be a while before another Sunday tops this one!
🥳🥳
Ayyyy its a good dayyyyy
I saw the thumbnail and thought you had built a McDonalds. 😄
You should try stripped mangrove wood with stripped bamboo wood or bamboo planks. It's a match made in heaven.
omg ill try that asap!!
That’s a sweet build!
I have found the hopper carts to be laggy on realms. Planting on mud with hoppers beneath produces less lag, but requires a lot more iron.
when you get enough iron you should make the back another farm and using a water bottle you can replace dirt with mud and you put the hoppers under the mud for a quieter farm for more efficiency
Plot twist: this isn’t Bonezo anymore, but rather Boneza his sister coming join you on your adventure to continue his legacy.
I think the zombie break-in at the beginning was a sign… perhaps time for a house interior episode? (Also that’s a w of a build btw 😎)
You don't need as many observers. Just put the ceiling 1-2 blocks higher and one observer every few blocks, it'll keep the rate but you'll save some ressources.
What episode did you reveal the seed in? I watched them all so far but unless I missed it I didn't hear or see it
Thumbs up,baby. Build is looking spicy!
Rather have orange to go with yellow. I know that Acacia wood is not the best, but it mixes well with Bamboo.
One of the best parts of this particular setup is you can sub out the bamboo for sugarcane and get the same results!
Adding note blocks behind the observers will make the farm even more efficient. And they don't even cost iron
I'm surprised you didn't make the wood showcase thingy 4 blocks tall honestly. 1 layer is the plank, 2nd layer is the log, 3rd layer is the stripped log, and then 4th layer is the Log top of the wood.
Dear wattels. When will minecraft guide movie pt.2 release.
Your builds look amazing! Way better than mine!
hold up, bonezo lost his collar but I love bamboo
I like this build❤ but where is bonus build of the day today?
I THOUGHT THIS SAID BAMBOO SUPPER ATOMIC BOMB FOR SOME REASON 😂😂
H20 is WHAT
Hey wattles!!! Great video but what about the bonus build???
it will be back next episode/the one after!!
Wattles do you have any tips for making a nice cherrywood fence?
Personally I can’t stand bamboo it’s only good for ladder and chests! But wow I think you’ve pulled it off and the roof is inspiring top job! One thing about observers I’m half sure you can built it with only one that powers all pistons? 🤷♂️
yes!! you could do like 1 or 2 trigger observers but it might just run slower is all!
Could this farm be taller in order to be more efficient???
Copper plus deepslate looks good u know know
WATTLESSSS .. WHERE'S THE EPIC STORAGE BUILDINGGGGG!!!? 😊
One quick way to oxidize copper IRL is to touch it
Grow the bamboo on mud instead of dirt so the dops can just fall through
Both lava and bamboo are awesome fuel sources, supersmelter coming soon?
I think crafting a shield can be very useful for defending yourself against mobs
Let the copper oxidized so the greenish blue represents the green of the bamboo
Challenge suggestion, no iron farm and find an iron vien
Ominous Orb! Mysterious Orb! What are you hiding?!
For some reason, this build reminds me of a McDonalds.
OMG I SEE IT
@@wattlesplays The yellow wood arches don’t help, what with creating the illusion of the letter M and all. 🤣🤣🤣
Did you ever reveal the name of your new base?
people who think the the sticks in the bamboo fence recipe should be the bamboo item (this bugs me so bad)
v
18:32 - 18:47 what's the song you're playing, I swear that sounds like one of the OSTs from the Tomba 2 game
I want to do the bambo farm with flying slime
In order to get the slime, i need to build a slime farm
In order to build a slime farm i need a bacon (farm using chunks)
In order to get bacon, i am doing a wither skeleton farm😂😂
Tbh, the newer trees are kinda hard to get especially mangrove because you need to chop the whole thing and build up
I know right 😭
I was thinking that the ominous orb is going to be where the iron farm is going to be!!!!
👀
Yayayay
I feel a massive automatic Cookie Farm coming up…
Nice Beard.
Bedrock: I learned the hard way after finishing a version of this farm that hoppers apparently don't work the same on BR. I had to relocate them so the hopper is on top. Maybe other BR players are smarter than me though 😂
BONEZO IMPOSTAHHHH
Use the bamboo to craft into chests instead of actual wood
Bamboozled
Embrace the floating tree islands!!
Is there a way to make this faster other then bonemeal
You should join hermitcraft next season
If only you found the tuff iron ore vein
Bamboozled
Any one else notice he missed one block plating bamboo? 13:23
No chance for bits of bamboo despawning if you employ an allay, noteblock and hopper instead of using a hopper minecart.
Hey wattles how about a moss farm for bedrock edition also
genius
Question is it possible to farm amethyst or something
As long as you don't destroy the budding amethyst while mining out a geode, then you've got an amethyst farm in any geode that you find.
Build a raid farm
Can you please do a dog house for bonezo as a bonus build next episode?
OMG GREAT IDEA
Maybe a little guard hut at the entrance to the bridge, since it's his bridge now 😊
