My Permanent Resident interview was done in a room with just me and the visa officer at the Canadian Embassy.
She just asked how I met my Fiancé and I showed her all the pictures of all his time spent with me in Jamaica.
She looked at 3 pages in the album and said, I’ve seen enough you’re good.
She asked what we were doing with the house 🏡 when in Jamaica and I said we were going to let my brother live in it and she said good because many people sell theirs and regret doing that when they decide to move back to Jamaica if they got fed up with Canada.
We ended up talking about life in Jamaica, our children and school and all sort of other things like two friends.
I got my PR documents in the mail after submitting my medical 3 weeks later.
Once they keep your passport yuh good to go!! Thanks for sharing with everyone Kim

@@veebaby5537 I’ve been waiting from February this year. I was told Barbados began in person interviews but there was a backlog from since early last year so I really do not know how long I’m gonna wait again , praying everyday I get it very soon
@@veebaby5537 yes that’s what I tell my husband all the time it’s been two years since he filed for me, it’s like we can’t move forward with anything till I get up there.. I can imagine it must hard for you raising the baby and daddy isn’t around.. my husband was just with me spent like a month and every time he lives I cry like it’s the first time, it’s not easy.. just keep trusting God it will come through love

Me being the US citizen and my husband is Jamaican...What helped us out was watching RUclips and there is a forum called Visa Journey...it helped us out so much in what to expect and we found couples that were going through the same and also what questions they were asked in the interview

@@gcity6986 I filed for my husband in August 2018and he got his visa in January 2020 and moved to the states right before the Covid-19 lockdowns in March of 2020

My interview was December 8,2020. My husband is 20 years older than me. They ask me the same questions they ask you. I never submit 2019 irs transcript. I submit tax return same as you. They only ask me for flight reservation and pictures with me and my husband. I was approve on the spot.

Some of those questions were ridiculous .... I remember vaguely my interview in 2008, I brought so much paperwork, pictures and greeting cards the female interviewer didn't ask me alot of questions.

To be expected. There are so many sham marriages out there now a days for papers they just want to be extra cautious. They are just doing their job. Congratulations 👏
Think there are terribly few sham marriages - frankly it’s against human rights to present such barriers - it’s better to have high fees for fraud than to put couples through this - we should be able to marry who we want and being our spouses here with no problem
And in short order - then if there is a divorce within a certain time they can investigate with the oenalty of prison or high fines - that’s a better way to prevent scams!

Mt situation was different because I was a resident in the US, I had my green card already. This will definitely help someone out. Tanks for sharing 🇯🇲❤️

I think when you are in America and go for an interview to get your green card it's more harder than when you're out of the country trust me I think I was grill at my interview but I was really prepared I answered every question knowing me and my husband date 2yrs before we got married. I got 2yrs temporary green card and when I apply for my ten year send in every document I think was necessary they still ask for more after sending those they still ask for a next interview but the second interview was so smooth the lady was so nice and everything went well I got my ten green card a month after the interview 🙏
I filed for my husband October 2019 we were approved July 2020 interview was scheduled January 2022 and he was given 221g as well now I’m in the process of waiting because they needed photos before and after our wedding and i also had to submit my w2 for 2020.. Hopefully the wait isn’t long. Thank you so much for your videos 😘

They didn't ask me all those questions, my husband came down to accompany me and my son to the interview. We used Fred Waugh from RUclips he prepared all the info we needed but I am glad you're sharing it will definitely help others

Yes yes yes they will ask that because that was the trick man many years ago and you can be disqualified they seriously very rare do accept it. They will be hesitant to grant it after all it's their country and they don't change for anyone.

🚨🚨Please everyone remember to take all document you submitted to NVC (both yours and your spouse documents) during interview once they asked you at interview and you don't have them they will delay your visa processing time
I am in the same situation, Just waiting for their email every single day it's very stressful because you don't know when they will give you your visa😢

do anything to be prepared so, That you won't regret being underprepared
