Honestly with all the flaws of this crossover, giving us not one, but three Supermen across the 5 episodes was so worth the wait. It could def been better (I still wish Routh's Superman stuck around until part 5, and I kinda wished we saw Smallville Clark more) but seeing Routh again in particular with the Williams' theme is just awesome
The Smallville scene is a great moment (honestly there are so many in this episode alone), and I liked that they gave this Clark the “Whatever Happened To The Man Of Tomorrow?” ending
When I need cheering up, on the days when I don’t see any hope in the world I watch this reaction video and feel better about life in general. Ty Shan 😊
Bruce was killed in that manner because he was on like a life support machine to move. He was worn out and super weak, any normal man wouldve had the same fate (since he was wearing that suit too, which would amplify the electricution, if he wasnt wearing that, that would be insane)
RIP Kevin Conroy Despite how his character turned out in this crossover, this is truly one of the best things to ever happen as we have the iconic voice actor of Batman in live action

This isn't meant to sound creepy, but you are my TV soulmate. I can listen to the first few seconds of any Smallville episode and tell you what it is without looking. Man, I would love to see a proper revival, even if it's only a short one.
if you look closely during the scene where clark and lois hold hands and walk off, you'll notice something veeeryyy peculiar about his watch.... so, he might have given up his powers. but i don't think it was permanent ;)
The videos that they made on how Tom welling’s Superman doesn’t have his powers kind of explained that his watch is made out of blue kryptonite but I can’t remember if it is confirmed or not😅
Yeah, think it was supposed to be just subtle enough that the dial on his wristwatch is observably blue, so he told Lex (strategically) that he "gave up his powers" while letting viewers figure out they're probably just suppressed and could return if he needed.
@@radicalreactions1633 Being an amateur horologist and watch enthusiast, black and white dials seem to be the most common, but blue dials are common enough, probably 3rd most I'd say, often with gold accents for more luxury styles. Less so for ordinary watches. But Clark doesn't seem like he'd wear such so not as common. AND his watch is just in frame enough to see it without specifically putting camera focus on it. Thought it was really well done.
It was never confirmed about the watch. It was only ever a theory by fans to make feel better about cameo. Tom himself said it was a normal watch. They never go into what happened with his giving up powers. No idea where you got that from.
well being a bit older my superman and Lex are from the 80. But Tom would had been cool as hell for superman returns for some reason i think they just couldn't get him for the role.
They Last Jedied Batman, turning him into a pessimistic, cowardly hermit of a shell of his former self. SMH. They love doing that to iconic male heroes.
The smallville cameo is my favourite cameo. If you look closely the watch Tom welling is wearing is John Kent’s watch but the face is blue instead of it’s original black making me think it’s blue kryptonite and smallvilles earth still has a superman Conner Kent was introduced in smallville. Number two favourite cameo is Kevin Conroy. Rest in peace the best Batman actor Kevin Conroy.
Connor isn't Superman, he's Superboy, different character. But you're right about the watch. Conroy never played Batman, if he's never done it on-screen, it don't count. Bale is still the best.
I dont know if u seen at this point Superman & Lois, but for me being nostalgia merchant with Tom Welling - the CW's Superman is the best both Clark and Sups ever.
Smallville is the ONLY version of the character that's actually been Superman. Supertrash & Loser are not the characters, it's a family drama with some powers thrown in, that's why the ratings suck and it will be gone very soon.
Crisis on Infinite Earths. Infinite as in every different earth. With the idea that each DC franchise world being a separate dimension. All the cameos are a love letter to DC fans. They tried for more cameos but they failed to get Michael Rosenbaum (he refused to commit without a script and they wanted him to commit before they figured how biig a role he would have). Theres a Crisis on Infinite Earths tie in comics featuring a council of luthors including one thats supposed to be Rosenbaum's luthor. Of the two episodes so far in the Crisis I really love watching you with the cameos. What do you recognise vs what don't you recognise. Smallville and Kevin Conroy reactions were great. I do agree that the death of the Kevin Conroy Bruce was a pretty poor scene.
I ev just court up on infinite earth's, It's been a while, but I think it was supergirl season 4 , people in masks, subject or racism and prejudice,,, that was very intense, interesting very real, that stands out most, Fun fact, Tom welling never liked superman and never actually wore the suit,, I believe he only did this if he didn't wear, I too saw smallville till the end,,,yeah looking back there was weak seasons,, Might interest you. Michael rosenbum does podcast RUclips channel talking to different celebrities, including Tom welling, which he also does podcast with talking about smallville, talking about each episodes, Inside of you it's called, Also meant to have mark hamle joker too, dunno why not, probably cuz of star wars,,
@@AfterShowReactions I believe this is also meant to be 10years on since smallville ended and might have followed the comics,,, Don't follow the comics. Same as for Angel and buffy never followed the comics,,to me they ended with the TV show, But Michael and Tom are suppose to work on a animated sequel series, I'd be up for that,,
Yeah, despite the producers/writing teams having intended to adapt Infinite Earths to the Arrowverse obviously since at least the previous year, they all mentioned around the time just how much they were madly scrambling just to get it done. - they were in a rush to write it - they had to make sure the writing teams of the diff shows could integrate it into their season arcs - they had to deal with any of the WB's edicts on what could or couldn't be used (remember how well the DCEU was doing at this time contra say the MCU in the film space) - they were in a rush to contact all the actors they wanted to try to work in cameos and guest shots for - they had to deal with all the scheduling for all those guest actors along with those of the shows an just the normal casts and I think it showed a bit ore this year than even the usual mad scramble they all mention came during the previous crossovers. But you're not the first to find Conroy's only live-action stint playing a more lost cautionary-tale-of-warning incarnation of Batman from another universe as being a bit objectionable, as well as the silly and convenient electrocution death. I get it but I also get they were probably really really pressed for screen time as well as whatever set dressing budget they had. Because remember: they already have the costs and logistics for all the additional action scenes, all the visual effects that go with those, and the huge guest cast compared to normal (who I think said they didn't get offered a whole lot if anything, which kinda makes sense)..
Injustice Joker sets off a bomb that nukes Metropolis but makes Superman do it by attaching the trigger to Lois so if her heart stops the bomb goes off and he used fear gas on Superman to make him think Lois was Doomsday so when he took her up to space and killed her he realised it was a trick when he heard two heartbeats (one from their unborn child) then Metropolis went boom
Shan please don't be embarrassed with your reaction. If anything I wish you were more like this with the other shows you react to, Person of Interest and Chuck for example. More fire from you please.
You know what funny I grew up with Christian Bale but I actually have more Of A attachment to Kevin Conroy Batman Instead of Christian Bale Batman which is the one I was born with
Superman returns was meant to be a sequel to reeves movies, and was criticised for looking too like Chris reaves,, So suppose he was meant to be both versions, nodding to them movies, 🤔 👍
You mean REEVE movies? That doesn't mean it was, since there were FOUR Reeve movies, and Superstalker Returns SUCKED. BlowJob DOES NOT look like Reeve, he looks like Jonathan Bennett from "Mean Girls." FFS Chris Reeve's own son doesn't look like him.The movie if Routh's that sucked and they're desperate to recreate it in this show again, and it SUCKED AGAIN. Stop trying.
Mia is so rude and aggressive to everyone around her cause the writers forgot to give her an actual personality cause they dont know how to write most women lol (her dad died but she's always like this)
I hated this part the most because it shows why Poopergirl is the absolute worst. Oliver sacrifices his life to save people from her earth, and is Kara grateful? No, right off the bat she is disrespecting his sacrifice by essentially calling Oliver an idiot for doing it. Then, when Barry, Mia and Sara try to bring him back, Kara is more interested in helping out, Kate, someone she met once instead of helping someone she considers her friend even though she never actually acted like his friend and before you say ‘she saved his life in Invasion’ no Oliver has arrows with grappling hooks attached but seemed to forget just she can can showboat.
... everyone goes crazy over Tom Welling's superman showing up and going "Nah, I don't care about all universes getting wiped out, I gave up my powers to save my family." as he lets his family die along with the rest of the universe with a carefree smile on his face. I mean WTF, Superman would not go "oh well" shrug his shoulders then go home while the entire multiverse is dying. I'm sorry but as much as fans had fangasms all over the place from this, I just see it as the ultimate betrayal to Smallville and Tom Wellings big "F.U! I don't want anything to do with superman and the only way I'll come back is if you kill me off." as he actively dislikes his Smallville role. His motivations MAKE NO SENSE in this and kinda betray who he was at the end of Smallville. But go ahead everyone, have a joyous time that he came back to shove your face in dirt.
I don't think it was a betrayal at all. I see it like this. This is Tom Welling's Clark having been Superman for about 10 years or so and he's given up his powers to be with his family. Yes sure.. But in those 10 years he's probably seen some shit and dealt with it the way he always did. Now some small bald dude shows up claiming to be Lex (looking nothing like the Lex he knows) says the world is ending and dangles some Kryptonite in front of his face like it's supposed to hurt him. You could see from Clarks reaction that he just thought the guy was a joke. That's why he didn't care. He didn't believe him and was basically like "Bish get off my planet with your world ending nonsense" Should he have listened? Hell yeah he should've... I would've LOVED. to have seen Tom as Superman backing up the Arrowverse team instead of seeing Kingdom Come Superman. But it was fun to see Smallville again nonetheless.
It is, but ruining characters is what Guggenheim does (Ie: Laurel). It's bs that Tom hates his roles, everything that happened on that show was THE NETWORK'S DECISION, the actors have pretty much no say, don't believe me, look at what Stephen Amell has said SEVERAL times in Error about how they treated HIS LEAD CHARACTER.
@@TonyWasHere You're delusional. In continuity, Smallville ended in 2011 but in the show it was 2017, so that's only ONE YEAR of being fully realized/and established. So you want us to believe that after ONE YEAR, that he just gives everything up that easily to have a family, when he clearly doesn't have to give up his powers for that. THAT doesn't make sense. Clark's reaction is not that he didn't believe Lex, when Lex disappears Clark's clearly thinking something, like a plan. That's another reason that it's not believable that he would give up his powers. The Errorverse "team" is trash, Tom's character would be the LEADER because he started this shitty Universe, if it weren't for Smallville it wouldn't exist. No actual Superman was in this crap crossover, that's why it was the lowest rated, but also it's ironic that people care more about TOM'S character than they do about the other cheap clones. Tom actually played SUPERMAN without needing a suit.
Personally, the appearance of Tom Welling and the fact that it is canon of the Smallville series for me was a great disappointment. It made me realize that I wasted 10 years of my life watching Smallville. But well, that's just my personal opinion, it's always great to see the emotion in other people.
The whole thing surrounding Batwoman as a character and a show has been pathetic, it would’ve been better if they never introduced the character to the Arrowverse.

*Sad somber music* no Jor-el 😞 oh wait Tom welling 😟
she froze, this episode broke her
well being a bit older my superman and Lex are from the 80. But Tom would had been cool as hell for superman returns for some reason i think they just couldn't get him for the role.
Ohhh I think her mind broke
You're not Micheal Rosenbaum 😰 - After show
Adam West is MY Batman so the cameo with Burt Ward geeked me out.
I've been looking forward to the crisis crossover cameos breaking her
They Last Jedied Batman, turning him into a pessimistic, cowardly hermit of a shell of his former self.
Tom said it was normal watch not a blue kryptonite one. Just a fan theory for that.
after you getting click baited during elsworlds crossover, you deserve this. Major respect for Tom Welling for coming back
I met Michael rosenbaum to nice guy and funny did not expect that
I dont know if u seen at this point Superman & Lois, but for me being nostalgia merchant with Tom Welling - the CW's Superman is the best both Clark and Sups ever.
I'm 6 episodes into Superman & Lois season 2 on Patreon :)
@@AfterShowReactions its the best live action superman ever, it is not even up for debate
Smallville is the ONLY version of the character that's actually been Superman. Supertrash & Loser are not the characters, it's a family drama with some powers thrown in, that's why the ratings suck and it will be gone very soon.
@@Hyp333R It is up for debate when someone actually knows what they're talking about, and you don't.
@@radicalreactions1633 lmao. Tom Welling was not really superman bruh and im not knowing what im talking about?
Still my favourite superhero show ever
There is only one Bat of the Future in a world with Kevin Conroy (RIP)
Terry McGinnis
RIP Kevin Conroy
My Superman was Reeve, and technically Brando was supposed to be that Superman
Can't wait for episode 4 icl.
Kevin Conroy Batman, I get why they killed him but they could've easily just walked away, tf was he gonna do ? RUN 🤣?
Bro he is batman he can do anything
@@adityayadav-fq5lv until superman actually fudged him up.
Barbara Gordon
Multiple vids of CW breaking Shan 😂😂😂😂
I ev just court up on infinite earth's,
It's been a while, but I think it was supergirl season 4 , people in masks, subject or racism and prejudice,,, that was very intense, interesting very real, that stands out most,
Fun fact, Tom welling never liked superman and never actually wore the suit,, I believe he only did this if he didn't wear,
I too saw smallville till the end,,,yeah looking back there was weak seasons,,
Might interest you. Michael rosenbum does podcast RUclips channel talking to different celebrities, including Tom welling, which he also does podcast with talking about smallville, talking about each episodes,
Inside of you it's called,
Also meant to have mark hamle joker too, dunno why not, probably cuz of star wars,,
I have been watching the Talkville podcast :)
@@AfterShowReactions
I believe this is also meant to be 10years on since smallville ended and might have followed the comics,,,
Don't follow the comics. Same as for Angel and buffy never followed the comics,,to me they ended with the TV show,
But Michael and Tom are suppose to work on a animated sequel series, I'd be up for that,,
Overreacting maybe, but we still love ya.
Yeah, despite the producers/writing teams having intended to adapt Infinite Earths to the Arrowverse obviously since at least the previous year, they all mentioned around the time just how much they were madly scrambling just to get it done.
- they were in a rush to write it
- they had to make sure the writing teams of the diff shows could integrate it into their season arcs
- they had to deal with any of the WB's edicts on what could or couldn't be used (remember how well the DCEU was doing at this time contra say the MCU in the film space)
- they were in a rush to contact all the actors they wanted to try to work in cameos and guest shots for
- they had to deal with all the scheduling for all those guest actors along with those of the shows an just the normal casts
and I think it showed a bit ore this year than even the usual mad scramble they all mention came during the previous crossovers.
Rest in peace to The Dark Knight
THE voice of Batman... MY Batman... We understand
Shan please don't be embarrassed with your reaction. If anything I wish you were more like this with the other shows you react to, Person of Interest and Chuck for example. More fire from you please.
Kinda crazy that this timeline means that SVs Superman was only active for a short time before he relinquished his powers.
If you actually believe he did, you're not paying attention to the BLUE WATCH.
You know what funny I grew up with Christian Bale but I actually have more Of A attachment to Kevin Conroy Batman Instead of Christian Bale Batman which is the one I was born with
Superman returns was meant to be a sequel to reeves movies, and was criticised for looking too like Chris reaves,,
So suppose he was meant to be both versions, nodding to them movies, 🤔 👍
You mean REEVE movies? That doesn't mean it was, since there were FOUR Reeve movies, and Superstalker Returns SUCKED. BlowJob DOES NOT look like Reeve, he looks like Jonathan Bennett from "Mean Girls." FFS Chris Reeve's own son doesn't look like him.The movie if Routh's that sucked and they're desperate to recreate it in this show again, and it SUCKED AGAIN. Stop trying.
Mia is so rude and aggressive to everyone around her cause the writers forgot to give her an actual personality cause they dont know how to write most women lol (her dad died but she's always like this)
she's one of the reason's i couldn't bear arrow seasons 7 and 8 she's so annoying
Truth bomb!
RIP Kevin Conroy you were the voice of batman. Still this crossover sucks
Yeah it sucked but at least the cameos were good.
Damn..
... everyone goes crazy over Tom Welling's superman showing up and going "Nah, I don't care about all universes getting wiped out, I gave up my powers to save my family." as he lets his family die along with the rest of the universe with a carefree smile on his face.
He didn't believe him and was basically like "Bish get off my planet with your world ending nonsense"
Should he have listened?
That is literally not true. I really enjoyed her show, especially season 3.
