I was very amazed by your product and went to the website but I cannot believe you´re:
- Charging 99.95 EUR for the Carry system Cyclone Trekking... to carry on the back the item or PLUS
- 24.95 for everyone of the Shoulder pad Cyclone needed to carry on, which means 49.98 EUR..crazy..!!!
- Flag assembly Cyclone for 39.95 EUR... that´s outrageous, specially becauser you´re charging A LOT of money for a primordial safety signal mandatory in a lot of countries

I got this same trailer for my Brompton (special Brompton edition), it works great. I use it in the city as a replacement of my car and sometimes in the train like in the video. Its a bit expensive and I wish they had put in a bit more accessories for the same price, but the quality is absolutely great and also if something is broken they got all the spare parts and can repair everything because they produce everything themselves. I really like these small craftsmanship companies.

I travelled with this trailer from Switzerland to Thailand. Needed no optional stuff, yust the raincover. There are also Schwalbe Marsthon 16" tires for less flattires.

I know! All that hauling it around, when an umbrella would have been lighter! I assume there's another vid showing the camping set up.
But the amazing thing is that you can actually put a tent inside or a bivi or groceries or... just about anything...

Wow!!! The rain cover comes standard with the trailer - but everything else is an optional accessory. How much extra do the wheels cost, for example.
Other than the number of items that are "optional accessories" though, I do like the design of this trailer.
I cycled with this trailer from Switerland to Thailand. Needed no other thing than the raincover. 😁
My cheap Allen Sports cargo trailer converts to a handcart with a single twist of a knob to rotate the hitch arm. The Burley Travoy goes from trailer to handcart the moment it's unhitched from the bike. This one is nice and seems a bit larger than my Allen Sports model but takes a lot more time and there are a lot more steps between trailer mode and handcart mode.

Well designed . I use panniers as they are good enough for what I carry. The trailers I have used are good and track well. The only drawback is the inevitable hills that get in the way and that is where you feel the trailers additional weight.

Почему? Многие используют велоприцепы для детей - вполне комфортно! А тут вообще по факту - каркас с нижней части а всё остальное сумкой обшито. То есть меньший вес, так ещё такой трансформер *главное чтоб по качеству отменный был*

Это беда, что у нас нет вагонов для велосипедов, как и БЕЗУСЛОВНЫХ велодорожек. Плохо в итоге всем: пассажирам велосипеды мешают, автомобилистам тоже. И только велосипедисты должны быть «счастливы». И никто не задастся вопросом: велосипедистам - куда деваться?
Впрочем, если плевать даже на людей с инвалидностью (от которой никто не застрахован), то что уж говорить о велосипедистах…
По‑хорошему, эти люди, испытав неудобство, должны вместе с велосипедистами выйти под мэрию и потребовать специальных вагонов - чтоб никто никому не мешал. А не мешать с говном - такую же - жертву обстоятельств.

A long distance cyclist doesn't need to wear the racing Bike gear, since your not riding for speed.

No serious you should wear whatever you find most comfortable. I have seen Hikers here that walked for 5.000+ Km on the cheapest hiking shoes just because they were... comfortable. I have ridden the Transalp and saw a guy without grips on his handlebar just bear metal... And he had ridden all the Transalps since it's start. I will never judge a person ever again on his or her perceived professional look or gear...

This clip was taken at the railway station of Groningen. This city holds the record number of bikes in the world so nobody would be interested in stealing a bike.
Yeah it's clearly filmed in a civilised country (I.e. not the shitty UK...) over here, that bike would be in the back of some chav's van and halfway to Cash Converters before Mr. Mamil had even tapped his card to the reader :(

I think this setup is more efficient compared to a regular touring setup even tho it has two extra wheels the aerodynamic advantage is better, especially if you wrap it with that rain protective cover.
I bought mine 18 years ago! It was the first version with the "electric wheelchair wheels" (they looked much more beautiful). Apart from new Schwalbe tires it is still in pristine conditions after thousands of kilometers in France and nearby countries (with careful use, cleaning and storage). At that time it was 400 euros only. Believe me, this is the best one and most versatile you can buy. The only reproach is the outrageous prices asked for the accessories like the walking/towing bar or the wheels bag. DIY is your best friend as an alternative and it does the job perfectly.

I would attached the cart wheels in a bag to my bikes frame than it's on the bike not on the bag. Than if u don't need it than Velcro it off I would have a mini cargo carrier off the rear wheel

I almost clicked away from this video, glad I didn't. 650.00 USD is a lot for a bike trailer, but the numerous features shown makes it worth it imho. Couple questions, what's the weight capacity, and can rear lights be attached?
Weight capacity is 40Kg but that is more to protect the rider against taking too much... It is easy to overload a Biking Trailer with stuff you don't need simply because there is enough room and you hardly experience the extra load. Yes a rear light can be attached to a little strap on the back.

парусность плюс что важнее нагрузка на позвоночник если груз больше 5-10кг. на прицеп можно погрузить чтото негабаритное

It's great but I can see so many flaws. Firstly, the bag should have at least rubber padding on the ends if it is to be turned on it's short edge every now and then. Plastic clips don't last. Should strap optional? Err. It doesn't appear to be that strong. Waterproof cover? You mean it's not waterproof to begin with.. Not that impressive when you look at competitors. The nice thing I like is the ability to carry it like a suitcase.
Thank you for your input D G. Well, the bag has Hypalon padding on the end. Plastic clips don't last, original Stealths as we use do. The Shoulder Strap is standard but the Luxury Padding is optional. It's very strong as there are many cycling for thousands of miles with the Cyclone. It is water resistant and because it's sewn we (and anyone around the world) can always repair it. We have had Cyclones here over 20 years old that we simply repaired and were ready for another 20. We haven't tried to make something impressive, just a Bicycle Trailer of good quality, backed up with good service and ready to go for years... If you buy our trailer 6th hand, 25 years old from Ebay and you contact us for parts or info, we don't ask for a receipts or that nonsense... We just help you!

You have to pay for bicycles on a train in the Netherlands?
Yes... It's around 6 Euro for one day. But you are not allowed to take a Bike Trailer in the Dutch Train. Except when you take off the wheels and it becomes ... a bag. That's what makes the Cyclone Bicycle Trailer unique.

Good for those who don't have rear pannier rack mounts on their bike.
Riding a trailer means your bike is much more free to move. You can actually stand and sprint on the pedals. But Rackbags sure have their advantages and there are also many using Racksbags and a Trailer for max storage. PB
A cargo trailer that converts to a shopping cart is perfect for my needs and IMO the best design but oh, that high $700 USD price makes we wince.
As I mentioned before it's such interesting psychology on the subjectivity of expensive. We pay $1500 for a computer to be replaced every 3 years. When buying a house we often don't negotiate the final $1000 and there are straight fishing rods of $4000,- !!! No idea why I bring up these arguments but I always wonder how you explain to your wife on buying that fishing rod... ;-)

Is this okay to use on a carbon frame?
Yes, the Cyclone is ideal for (carbon-) racing bikes. Because the Cyclone is a two-wheeled trailer and also connects to the axle, the forces on the frame are minimal. With a racing bike you can still stand on the pedals with the Cyclone and stamp and sprint. That is most uncomfortable with a seatpost-connected trailer or a one-wheel cart where you feel your frame bending.

@@gregstewart6216 Euro550, you need to pay extra for some accessories show in the video such as the wheel bag and backpack strap and they are not cheap.
Find a way to build one yourself out of a large backpack, wheels, and some way to hitch it to the bike.
It looks very nice but I see from another comment it was $650 four years ago! Ouch!
There are a lot of steps transforming it between trailer, cart and luggage.
It's very adaptable but a lot of messing around.
The Burley Travoy or something similar would be cheaper and straight to trolley from a trailer with just one click.
Although I wouldn't say no to this if I got one for free! 😉

Why the V brakes on the Specialize
Inventive concept, but for 595.95 euros (which is 707.00 USD) it is way way too expensive.
It is made out of full original Cordura in small series, improved on any customer feedback we support. And if you damage it, we can fix it just by contacting us and sending in the damaged parts or bag. It's available directly from us or through a selective group of Bicycle Shops Worldwide that we trust and are actually able to provide service.
Also the perception of something being expensive is very subjective. When you buy a guitar for $5000 it may sound crazy but if you give it to your child after you had it for 40 years you don't dare to compare it to your laptop of $2000 that you upgraded to the newest model every 3 years.
But in all honesty I have seen straight simple Fishing Poles of $5000+ and seriously wondered how one would explain that when your partner opens the Fedex package... ;-) PB.
That you'd use a $2000 laptop every three years as an example says a lot about your perception of money also. That's a stratospheric amount of money for a computer. If I spent two grand on one I'd expect it to go ten years.

Great design. But...I would like to see him cycle uphill ...everything is very flat in this clip. Like a car ad without a traffic jam... unrealistic.
To many parts . I can clearly see a more simplified system within the same design . Also to many options , where these options can be manufactured in the unit during production as the finished product . Somewhat clever but definitely overthought .
At that price I will need a bodyguard for the trailer. over 800$ plus import duty and taxes. nearly a 1000$ in Canadian.

I like the idea of being able to convert it to a hand cart, backpack, holdall etc, but it's a lot of money especially considering that most of the accessories that make it so versatile cost extra. I suppose it may be worth the outlay if high tech lightweight materials are important and you've already spent thousands on a fancy road bike and all the clothing etc, but for my purposes, a basic steel frame Chinese trailer from Amazon hitched to my old electric town bike serves me just as well at a tenth of the cost.

I need some advice here. Do you think this trailer could be used as an alternative for the traditional 5 "wheel bags" most people carry on their bikes for a long trek? Something from a week to a month long. I mean, it seems to be much easier to carry some weight in a trailer, than in bags, right?
