      @@needparalegal Good luck. Here in Tulsa they want 15k for a new standard. That was a couple months ago however. So the price is probably up from there since it’s “riding season” and they can really jig us good cause bikes are selling. Yes thank you for the response as I love riding mine that I bought 6 months ago people that know quite a bit about bikes always ask me what it is. Yes it is the fastest thing I had ever owned but what I don't understand is that here are other 114s with the same weight, style, engine etc.(Breakout 114) but they are not nearly as fast. Every time I try to ask the Harley dealers they don't seem to know anything and tell me they should have kept making that bike. don't think it has a stage 4 in it and I want to leave it as stock. Maybe it could be the cam so this is what I am trying to find out so that if I get another bike in the future I would like to put the same cam/combination of whatever is in it.

    I'm a Harley fanatic. These statistics can be deceiving. There are many models not taken into consideration...there has to be. The bike in my profile pic is a 2013 FLS Softail Slim 103CR. I purchased it from the original owner who crashed it at 2264 miles and parked it. 7 years later he sold it to me...as far as I know the Vance and Hines Short Shots are the only add on he did. I built my own custom air filter and induction scoop. I'm not sure what the bike weighs, but if you plug in the factory claimed weight and eighth mile time/speed...it calculates an amazing 175 horsepower.
    The only official mph slip I have is 107 mph, in 480 feet, and i missed 2nd gear. I don't know my 60 ft time but from a rolling 10 mph start about 30 feet from turning on a 100 yard to the next stop sign street: 88 mph and I pretty much costed to a stop at the stop sign. I never raced a big super bike, but all the 600 to 750 cc bikes that got beside me didn't have a chance. With no fairing about 140 was all I could stand to go...but in the short race...none got close. My friend rode a 07 night rod that was not stock...don't know what was done to it...I would let him get 50 to 75 ft ahead and catch him, pass him like he was standing still. I've ridden a number of stage 4 harleys, twin Cam 103 and a stage 4 m8...they feel sluggish and slow in comparison. Unfortunately the bike was stolen a year ago. I've asked everyone what does the CR mean? No one, even at the dealership has answered me. Anyway...it the fastest for 1/8 or 1/4 mile I've ridden or seen. I'm sure the rice burners are faster top speed...can any one tell me what the CR in the model mean? It didn't show up on paperwork until I got full coverage insurance...

    But the quickest Harley doesn't have an "engine".….(sorry, couldn't resist!) Hi C.J., nice comparison of the different models. In retrospect, I had a GS1150ES Suzuki as a demonstrator/daily driver. I did take it to New England Dragway just for fun one Sunday in 1986. I did manage an 11.2 sec. @ 122 mph. Suzuki advertised a 10.2 sec. 1/4 mile. I was a very average rider with no track experience. Today's bikes are much quicker and faster in general. But these are all just numbers, what counts is the everyday riding experience. I'm much older now and I'm enjoying the hell out of my 2007 Dyna Twin Cam 96 cu. In..

    • @cycletron
      @cycletron  3 года назад

      Hey Art. That sounds like a blast going down the drag strip though. I agree with you about the riding experience. Harley's aren't really about that but they are still pretty quick in the big scheme of things. 2007 Dyna is a good year from what I have heard. I still have fun on the '82 Virago but on paper it would make no sense to ride that bike when I have more modern bikes to ride.

    It would be interesting to take for example a Road Glide and compare performance to a stock bike, a Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Stage 4, and CVO and then see the price/performance for each. Basically, the actual cost / benefit of incremental performance. I think the fastest EV motorcycle is the Lightning Strike LS-218 with a top speed in its name of "218" mph and 0-60 time of 2.2 seconds for just $46,000 not including the tax credits.
