Who else tries to guess which thread Donna will choose for the quilting? I always get it wrong, LOL! I like the pattern that was chosen but it's nice to have the multiple options from the one block!

I’ve been watching your videos for a while but just realized you are from grants pass! I grew up in amity… I hope some day to visit your quilt shop! We live in San Diego now so it’s much farther but it sure made me smile that you are from my home state too.

cindy, I think that's why it is so nice, it makes me think of all my grandmother's quilts. Can not decide if its the mix of colors or the look of the material and pattern.

I think this is my favorite quilt you've ever made...and that's saying something. The colors and pattern just mesh. It's...calming to look at. My palette is usually richer, darker tones, but this overall is comfort. Thank you, Donna.

This quilt is what I think most people envision when you say the word "quilt." It looks cozy, like your grandmother made it and very cheerful. It's just right for any season and would be perfect as a gift.

Fascinating pattern. It's like "building" a quilt.
This quilt is a real winner - six very different layouts! The designer made it easy with the background colors too - so you can really visualize your options! I really liked your choice of fabrics on this as well, and in the end I had to agree it was the best layout. I reserve the right to change my mind when I do it though! LOL! Thank you Donna!
PS Watching this one again - third time. Still not sure which one is the best, still think I like Donna's choice but have to see them all again to be sure!

Oh Donna love the Quilt and the little peach border is just yummy. I use alot of double borders on my quilts too! I also have my longarmer quilt in white alot. This has been such an interesting tutorial, and what a beautiful result! I can't wait to watch this video again tonight. The name of the flower-filled fat quarter bundle is "Lady Bird", named in recognition of Lady Bird Johnson and her wildflower initiative begun during LBJ's presidency.

What an awesome pattern, to be able to create 6 different quilts from one block, that's value for money! I really like the pattern you chose Donna, and the fabric from Moda is beautiful. I could see Kaffe Fasset fabrics with a dark accent looking stunning in this design. I shall definitely be trying this pattern out. Thank you for bringing this to us.

Really liking the simplicity of this one, looks difficult overall until you see the breakdown and then you know you could do it. Think I might do the black background.

You all should make an ASMR video! No talking, just the satisfaction of the cutting, sewing, and the longarm doing their thing. Lots of people have said could watch the longarm all day! It could be something small like a table runner you’ve already made a video on so people have the instructions already

Me too. I decided to make quilts for our grandkids this Christmas.. than toys or clothes.. I normally crochet.. hand cramps up after. Age... 😆can't wait to start tomorrow morning. She's great teacher ..she sure helped me get my spirit back up and sewing idea's more.

I am 73 and male and this is the first video of yours that I have watched ,the best part was the fact that you accept the faults that we all make and when to try that bit harder .I love the quilt but I haven't got a long arm machine so mine can never look this good but great to see and a beautiful finished quilt .Thanks
