I have been a ACT users for 6 plus years and I can safely that I used ACT for two reason, they deliver the speed they promise without fluctuations and their customer service is very good. They resolve issues withing hours after a registered complaint.

Same thing is available in countries like USA where they clearly call this as mobile internet for home via standard 5G network and does not reference fiber speeds. It's the same internet we used to enjoy via USB dongle.

I just checked the Jio AirFiber website and they have AirFiber Max that have speeds up to 1Gbps! Sure, wireless doesn't have dedicated bandwidth. But if they are using the antenna and have dedicated channel/wireless connectivity to BTS, they can provide dedicated bandwidth. I strongly think Jio AirFiber is different from Airtel AirFiber. Airtel AirFiber appears to be just a 4G/5G dongle with a Wi-Fi hotspot. But Jio AirFiber could be different.

The only point where JIO wins over other networks is their local area connection (OHT cable laying) and provision of terminal box. their cables and terminal boxes are tied to separate well-laid poles completely free from other cable jumbles. As all other network cables are inter locked and jumbled, resulting in disconnection of other cables while one connection is being rectified. At times of cyclones, surely, it will be very difficult for other operators to recover their cable net work in lesser time.

Act is worst when it comes to disconnect. Every month minimum 3 to 5 days would be downtime. So for 7 months for me 1 month goes waste. Neither I get refund discount for next renew . I have been using act in Chennai nearly from past 6 plus years. Previously it was not like that. Looks like their new strategy. As of now managing with jio 5g but upload is big problem

Bro, in my town I'm using jio air fiber just 15days before that I use bsnl broadband for 1099 plan for only net, but in jio air fiber I get free ott platform subscription ( saving 2000 yearly) and jio setoff box for tv channel ( Saving monthly Rs 266 dish recharge)for Rs.599 plan.. I think it is useful for middle and limited net usage peoples.. opinion differs from

No brother you can go with jio airfiber, unlike airtel airfiber it is wireless broadband, it is better than 5g sim with hotspot as it has dedicated bandwidth because of the separate receiver/antenna, wireless is a better option in areas without wired Broadband. But the customer service depends on your area contractor ,most are good with some exceptions

I dono wether we need to install sim in antenna also called as Subscriber unit.
But most of the government offices and banking sector use this kind of connection.
In One access point we can connect 10 to 15 SU device, which we define as Last mile wireless, because till base station it will be provided as fiber, in Base station AP device is connected to switch.
I dono what kind of L2 Path JIO are preferring for this NETWORK, but there are more ISP companies for commercial purpose like TATA, SIFY, RAILTEL, PGCIL, RCOM, BSNL Etc. Which are secured connections with low bandwidth like max 10mbps...
In this network, fiber cut issue won't be there because the base station will have multiple uplinks if one path is cut traffic will TRX through another path...
If JIO is following this kind of network path then it's is ok because the above mentioned commercial ISP 10mbps link is too costly like 1.5L per year.....
The ACT speed test is not for all applications. Broadband shows the high speed when you do the test but it's not actual speed. Guaranteed speed only for the application hosted in their data centre cache server.

Jio fiber might be using 5g "Network slicing" feature,, by which a dedicated bandwidth of internet will be provider. Where as in 5G and 4G sim, bandwidth is common to all people in that are. So Jio fiber can give constant internet speed (40mbps or more) and with low laterncy, if they use "network slicing" feature.

I'm used both ACT and jio Air fiber. Comparatively No issues with jio Air fiber in speed and latency and rate also less than ACT

I've been using Jio Broadband for more than 3 years. The connection is exceptional. I get a speed of about 150 Mbps consistently. Only once time I get disconnected for a longer time.
I heard from my friends also, it is good. Not sure about Jio Airfiber, But you haven't shown the correct data for speed. Also, JioFiber wires are connected to Mobile towers, they use different technology. Speed is consistent even after many members stay online. I'm sure JioAir Fiber might work in different technology hope it has some good speed. ACT Internet does not have the right to lay cable on the street. Going forward, Chennai will become cableless, which may be the reason JIO might introduced on a trial basis. If it does not work, they will stop or roll back.
This is a fixed wireless technology in 5G defined by industry standard where they can fix a QoS based on APN name. They can guarantee a definite decent speed and prioritize the traffic based on application used. Even in wired broadband it's shared from aggregation point, if u need dedicated speed then only leased line can afford it. Every vendor who provide 5G service will take the advantage of this technology to provide various services
one important we cannot connect VPN in Airfiber. BSNL has wimax connection like this long back

I've used Hathway for 7 years now. Only had one disconnection for 2 days. While I had ACT as first Fiber to home, during 2015 cyclone I faced 40+ days disconnect otherwise ACT was good as well.
This is wireless broadband & the outdoor unit is called CPE, that CPE is directly connected to AP. While setting good frequency means we are able to get better link quality and able to get good speed. I worked in various types of AP and CPE brands like Cambium, mikrotik, Ubnt, Minsat, tplink, dlink.With better configuration means we are able to get 1Gbps based on WIRELESS device with High gain antanas. I don't know about jio air fiber but other brands I have hands on experience. Now only I'm exploring your videos Nanda bro....

I am not supporting to wireless but mobile network while working with VPN In my personal experience broadband connection also same. If the amount of customer increases then speed down because of heavy usage and personally I used radio packet Internet and broadband 1gbps for my VPN located australia and canda. The difference between mobile network and broadband is the mobile will connect better
Please try to connect with VPN located in other countries then may will feel difference
