The self-titled debut that started it all has turned ten.
At the dawn of the new millennium, songwriter, producer, and multi- instrumentalist Klayton created Celldweller, a ground-breaking aural entity for the next age. Thriving on originality, Celldweller cross-bred electronic styles such as Drum'n'Bass and Psy-Trance with modern Alternative Rock and Metal on his self-titled debut, released independently in 2003.
The Celldweller album met with critical acclaim while climbing to #17 on the Billboard Internet Sales Chart. Celldweller gained Top 40 Metal Radio charting with the track "I Believe You" pulling into a solid 11th place on the R&R Alternative Specialty Show Chart. Achieving a feat shared by only an elite handful of albums, every song on Celldweller was eventually licensed for use in popular media. These songs were heard in movie trailers, TV shows, and games such as Spider Man 2, Constantine, Crackdown, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Enter the Matrix, CSI, UFC, The Shield, and more.
Now, Celldweller has been reissued to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its release with updated artwork and a second disc of remixes, demos, and previously unheard rarities (all remastered for this release). While Klayton busies himself in his Detroit studio preparing the future of Celldweller for 2013, celebrate the past with this monumental work.

I first listened to Celldweller when i was 16. i am 30 now. not going to lie though. his original album will always be king in my book
i heard celldweller for the first time about two years ago, dont know how i hadnt heard of him sooner as i listen to alot of music, im 66 years old. I belive you, fadeway, one good reason, my disinigration, these are masterpeices. BRAVO

I think that's the first song I listened from Klayton. It was in the credit of an AMV when I was in school. From that I started to look for other songs from him and then... I've fallen in love with your music.

I got a better tale about knowing klay. I was a 13 year old kid looking for madonna song frozen and instead downloaded Frozen from him. Around 2004/2005. From where i live it was very hard to find his album so i had to order it from poland some months later.

This is the most beautiful song I've ever heard. At first glance you think he's talking about his heartbreak, since the whole album focuses on that. But you read deeper into the lyrics and you realize he's talking to his soul and the entire song is lamenting about how he's losing his soul ("when I fade away from me").

What a masterpiece
Looking back I always come to this album, absolutely love it.
Occasionally I'll look at your new work, your new style with long awaited vocals and breakdowns to only find mostly beats digital harmonies and disappointment wishing for all my time back trying to find one gem out of the many gems from this individual album that got me into you deeply in the first place. Wtf happened???
You lost it.
However you will always be Legendary to me in this album. Much love and respect but you need to wake up, look at your views, your roots to what got you here mostly and go back to that pattern that works because your new albums lost base with what people wanted most.

Still the best album from Celldweller. The last one "Satellites" is just a huge disappointment... I would have expected more from Celldweller 20 years later. Guess he ran out of inspiration.
Tho i think satellites are good, they lack the feel of this album's vibes, this album is the peak of celldweller
