See, THIS is where the true beauty lies..... I would actually put this as being one of my favourite albums of any artist ever, I don't know, it just hits every spot for me and has zero filler unlike most mainstream artist albums. It'll always come down to personal preference, but when this first came out, I listened to it maybe 5 times a day for at least a couple of months and then steady every other day when I wasn't using it for background music in my streams. Short version - This rocks :)
It's hard to find music that's good from beginning to the end of the album anymore. I can listen to the entire album without wanting to skip a track. That is rare period. I can count on one hand the number of albums I've found that meet that criteria. And of all of them, this is my favorite. Music you can smash skulls to or pump nitrous into a small block chevy to. Fucking neolithic.
This album just shows how Bret can take any music gene and polish it with his own original sound to emit badass vocals, lyrics, and instrumental beats. Ever since I heard the first samples from this album (Enemy, Ready Aim Fire, Down in Flames, ect.), I instantly fell in love with this style, and I was pumped for the full album release. It has that delicious "Blue Stahli" flair in each song. This ear candy that flows through my headphones keeps me excited for what else Bret has compiled with his musical talents. :)
Bret, you've been my favorite artist since '08 when I first heard _Antisleep Vol. 01_, and you've stayed there ever since! I honestly want to put you higher than number one, but that just isn't how numbers work. Keep the the phenomenal work!

Blue Stalhi is certainly an interesting artist. Personally I loved the (first I think?) album the most because of how powerful and energetic it was (especially Ultranumb and Corner, because holy crap), but this one is so perfect for writing. Just the right sort of mood and emotion to the music. Plus it still has some powerful songs, especially Not Over Til We Say and Rockstar.
Years ago 14 year old me was trying to find epic music for Darksouls and found a playlist that had Celldweller frozen I was wondering what is that nice and beautiful song and after years of listening him I slowly moved towards Bluestahli. klayton (Celldweller) creates a story and a universe. Bluestahli makes a battlefield and epic battles. (And more) I love both.

Almost a good 5 years have passed since The Devil came out and I've listened to this quite a bit since then. So it's no wonder the album no longer gives me the sweet dopamine rush I so much crave. Days when you need only hear a song from The Devil to feel like you've hit a good line of coke are gone. That being said, every now and then I still put this album on when I'm working out and it's working out great (no pun intended). So, fuck yeah, I'm recommending this to anyone who likes cool and heavy guitar riffs and needs something for workouts (it's perfect length too).

Love the music. Love frequency display on the video, really good to have visual representation to the sound in my ears. The only thing detracting is the stuff appearing in the background, looks a bit like some of the 'special effects' in old films, Tarzan battling pictures of lions etc. I am fully aware the skill used to make even the part I am critisising is well beyond me and am deeply grateful to bluestahli for making this available for me, so please no dummy throwing. Favourites so far are this album and Blue Stahli. I like the stuff with lyrics more. There are no tunes I have heard and disliked yet, which for electronic music is good going. I like the imperfection of played music and that takes more effort in electronically produced music. This shows a lot of effort and talent. Thank you.
