"Shoot 'Em Up" -- I haven't heard a song that criticizes the feeding frenzy Mainstream Media goes into over mass murder tragedies yet! This song is amazing! It's the first song I've ever heard that satisfies the huge negative feelings I develop toward news idiots every time they scramble over these sad events for monetization. Making killers famous to the point of exploring every detail about their lives and teaching the next wave of messed up kids that they can have all the televised revenge they ever wanted, becoming infamous, if they follow suit. My god, Bret. That song is so satisfying.
Every Stahli album I listen to goes from "eh this is ok, but I like his other stuff better" to "Ok, it's growing on me." to "I cannot stop listening to this on repeat" in 10 listens.
As other comments have said, this is an outstanding album and one I return to often. I still think 'The Fall' is my fav track overall but the whole thing is a blast!
Blue Stalhi is certainly an interesting artist. Personally I loved the (first I think?) album the most because of how powerful and energetic it was (especially Ultranumb and Corner, because holy crap), but this one is so perfect for writing. Just the right sort of mood and emotion to the music. Plus it still has some powerful songs, especially Not Over Til We Say and Rockstar.
It's hard to find music that's good from beginning to the end of the album anymore. I can listen to the entire album without wanting to skip a track. That is rare period. I can count on one hand the number of albums I've found that meet that criteria. And of all of them, this is my favorite. Music you can smash skulls to or pump nitrous into a small block chevy to. Fucking neolithic.
Over the years, I've listened to this album so many times. I'm one of those silent subs that's been here since 2014....thanks for all the great music!

Disturbed has a song that has a similar message, it's called The vengeful one. It's A DAMN GOOD SONG
Legion of Monsters captures the message more, also by Disturbed
@@hakimlengani6968 And "Legion of Monsters" is 100% about mass murderers being made famous by the news.
@@IncarnateSable Shit, should've read your reply first, lol.
😂
Blue Stalhi is certainly an interesting artist. Personally I loved the (first I think?) album the most because of how powerful and energetic it was (especially Ultranumb and Corner, because holy crap), but this one is so perfect for writing. Just the right sort of mood and emotion to the music. Plus it still has some powerful songs, especially Not Over Til We Say and Rockstar.
Nostalgia Hits in yoo, listened to this and similar kind of music so much back in the good old World of Warcraft days. Love
This is the album that keeps me going through late nights in the CAD studio at uni.
If anyone reads this and cares, I graduated :) Thanks, Blue Stahli!
Just did. Congrats!!
Try out Trevor Something's Synthetic Love
I feel like Pendulum’s entire “Immersion” album is great all the way through.
@@therealzizmon1748 agree!
Just received my physical copy about 15 minutes ago. Best late birthday gift i've gotten in a while!
