The self-titled debut that started it all has turned ten.
At the dawn of the new millennium, songwriter, producer, and multi- instrumentalist Klayton created Celldweller, a ground-breaking aural entity for the next age. Thriving on originality, Celldweller cross-bred electronic styles such as Drum'n'Bass and Psy-Trance with modern Alternative Rock and Metal on his self-titled debut, released independently in 2003.
The Celldweller album met with critical acclaim while climbing to #17 on the Billboard Internet Sales Chart. Celldweller gained Top 40 Metal Radio charting with the track "I Believe You" pulling into a solid 11th place on the R&R Alternative Specialty Show Chart. Achieving a feat shared by only an elite handful of albums, every song on Celldweller was eventually licensed for use in popular media. These songs were heard in movie trailers, TV shows, and games such as Spider Man 2, Constantine, Crackdown, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Enter the Matrix, CSI, UFC, The Shield, and more.
Now, Celldweller has been reissued to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its release with updated artwork and a second disc of remixes, demos, and previously unheard rarities (all remastered for this release). While Klayton busies himself in his Detroit studio preparing the future of Celldweller for 2013, celebrate the past with this monumental work.

I'm 32 now. Still remember when I listened to this at 15yrs old. I'll never forget Celldweller. Probably the only artist I have listened throughout my whole life without feelind of. This song, specially, brings me so good memories which, alongside Celldweller, shall never be forgotten!

Yeah, this is absolutely my favorite Celldweller album. The others are good too, but this one is just special and nostalgic for me. There's only one other musical artist I've listened to for decades and never get tired of hearing (System of a Down). I can easily say that them and Celldweller are my 2 all-time favorite groups.
This specific song really reminds me of the feeling I had while ending a super toxic relationship with a manipulative/BPD ex-girlfriend. It perfectly captures that contradictory love/hate mixed emotion.

If celldweller becomes popular it would become trendy. if it becomes trendy it would be ruined, like everything that becomes popular on the internet. Nothing short of 70% of the worlds lowest deadweight being blown off the face of this dying planet would fix a sin like that.

So lost, tell me how can it be?
    Desperately trying,
    to understand why,
    I push you from me.
So close, but so far away.
    I cannot see,
    how this happened to me,
    I'm so sorry to say!
So lost , For so long I cannot tell...
    How in my mind,
    and what moment in time,
I woke up in this cell.
So close, yet so far away!
    I cannot see how,
    this happened to me.
    I'm so sorry to say!
I want you to go away from, from me!
I want you so much to stay with...ME!
I want you to go away from, from me!
I want you so much to stay with...ME!

Klayton doesn't classify Celldweller into any one genre - there's a bit of everything, if you look hard enough - but the basic jist is industrial (a fusion of electronic and rock).
