Thanks for an informative and amusing video. Bought my R6 a couple of weeks ago after being disappointed with the low light capabilities of my 6D mkII and so far I haven't been disappointed. What really blows me away is the Eye-Focus which is absolutely incredible, particularly when photographing birds as you say in your video. I'm beginning to get used to the button layout and decided to move to back-button-focus. Now that was a game changer for me, and all I've got to do is train these old fingers to forget that big button thing I used to use.
Having an R6 is like owning a 1DX MK III without the extreme durability. It uses the same sensor, the same AF tech as when the 1DX is in live view, same image processor. Low light shooting is incredible. Great video! I subbed. Look forward to seeing more.
Yes, and no. The 1Dx Mark III's codec/ bit-rate is significantly higher than the R6. And that is a *big* deal for photographers who have an eye for it/ knows what they are doing.
As a working professional photographer in Los Angeles I’m sticking with my SLR I’m not moving to mirror less what’s the point if my SLR is making me money why would I spend my hard-earned cash. There were no extra cards lots when we were shooting film!
I agree the HDR PQ is out of this earth the 4k 60p it has everything I want and full frame im so fuckin satisfied with mine if your planning on buying a mirrorless full frame 4k hdr camera buy this open a credit card like I did and buy it dont be scared you'll be happy
Are you using the canon RF adapter or a third party adapter? If you are using a third party adapter, have you noticed any issues with it when using your EF glass?
I use the canon adapter. I bought it a month after its release in the summer of 2019 so I don't know if there were third party adapters at the time because the R body had also just been released.
@@PixeledMoment So far, i'm really loving my R6, now that I got my issues resolved lol. I learned that the R6 doesn't like using a off brand camera flash. When I first started using it, I would use my flashpoint zoom flash on camera. Kept causing me issues every time i'd use it. So I went back to my canon 430exii flash and no issues at all. I'm a bit bummed because I just bought that flashpoint flash a month before I bought the R6.

Love it!
Even the 90D has redundancies when it comes the multi D pad and scroll wheel more custom features rather then redundancies wouldbe nice
did you buy your camera from canon website ?
I bought mine through Amazon.
You seemed pretty “straight” at the very beginning so the characters that came later were surprising and appreciated. Good job.
Good job!

I use my video camera as the main for long duration recordings. Large church ceremonies included.
