Only chance to get the Northern Lights

The clouds started rolling in, the moon was bright, temperature was below 0, and people wouldn't turn off their car lights. I just wanted to have one little moment up here.

Last Day in Maine

I spent the morning walking the trails in Acadia, with a few nice surprises, and then drove back to Portland for less video but more of a chill last day in Maine before heading home. And despite the amount of lobster I had up there , it's still not enough ;)

Headed over to New Brunswick in this video! It was cool to see the fog roll in from the island and roll out from across the border at the summer home of the Roosevelts, along with an evening of crystal clear crashing waves.
Searching for Moose in Maine

From an early morning trek through beautiful fog to Moosehead Lake I kept my eye out for compositions...and red squirrels, then a rough drive to Baxter State Park brought an unexpected sight while searching for moose.

The Canon EOS R6 - My First Impressions
hi good afternoon i recently bought this lens with an adaptor of Canon R8 but this lens gives me shade around the picture and video too so tell me what can I do? How do I adjust my settings to see full-frame photographs and videos? Thanks
So inspirational! And it always baffles me how inconsiderate some people can be
Just got this mic. Let's go! Thanks for the vid
Funny that it was warmer inside the Ice Museum than outside. A nice 25 degrees Fahrenheit compared to 4 🤣
These are so beautiful
This was very helpul even 5 years later. Thanks so much!
A big advantage of using it for astrophotography is the rubber boot is not present like on a Canon EF-S lens. This means that I can use it on my astro modified T6i with my Astronomik clip-in filters in. You can't use Canon EF-S lenses on an APS-C body with a clip-in filter.
Also, great impersonation !!! 🤣
Greatest lens i have ever used
Great review, thank you
Hey, great video and editing. Good job, thank you!
nice work keep it up❤
Thank you for not using your drone in BSP…also, you definitely scared off two moose at the 8:20 mark
Believe me, I know better than to use a drone in any state park or restricted airspace. I don't want to risk losing my license. Also, I totally didn't notice those two little dark spots off to the right at 8:16 until now! I'll have to go back through the footage and see if I can crop in to check if that was a mother moose and calf 😮
@@PixeledMoment100% mother and calf-so cool!
Thanks for also covering the focus breathing! few reviewers even consider it How does the focus breathing compared to other 24-70s that you've used?
O the other hand, people have been advised for YEARS, to make certain they are prepared for all types of emergencies. So, this a is as much an individual blame as it is a government blame.
No, even years after this event, I still have unhealthy levels of anger from this. I lived in a 55+ retirement community, miles from the nearest town. We have a Buckees about a mile away but other than that, we are fairly well isolated from any real town or city. And don't get me wrong, most of us think of this as a perk, not an inconvenience. But..... This is kind of a Stepford community, all the homes look the same, lawns are maintained for us and it's a nice place to live. But it also contributed to the deaths of four of our residents from hypothermia, with another nine hospitalized for it. Three of which died while in intensive care. The ice on our street was four inches thick, as well as our driveways and sidewalks. Some of our residents are in their late 70s or 80s and a slip on the ice could be calamitous. By the third day, us of a younger age ventured out, crawling on hands and knees across that street to check on neighbors. That's when we found the dead, two of which were huddled under blankets in their beds. Others under blankets in their living rooms. We have the right to be angry. Abbott and his minions could have avoided this or at least mitigated much of it by the lessons learned in 2011. To this day, these issues have yet to be addressed and it's just a matter of time and fate that it happens again. I am not a violent man, but I cannot help the urge to beat someone bloody for doing this to us. Yet, we re-elect these people time and time again. Jesus.
Your response for your own safety. You should have taken some self initiation and prepared. Can you really trust anyone in government? Especially when they have a 75k job but have a net worth of millions after 1 year. We live in the woods of Oklahoma and loose power all the time so we keep 2 weeks of food on hand we have a 5kw generator with 100 gallons of gas for it and extra spark plugs and a few jugs of oil. We have back up heating of Several types as well.
my copy of the lens has a yellow tint to it, i fix it using a custom braket with B 2 M 1, try this for good skin tone rendering, lightroom does honor the custom tint so does camera raw
doesnt the manual focus turn the opposite direction then most other lenses?
Would you choose the Tamron over the Canon classic 24-70 1.4L mk i.. second hand??
Tamron 24-70 Gen 1 is my most used lens. I bought the greay market version from Amazon 7 years ago, and I haven't expierienced any problem with it. I am considering buying a used G2 version and put it on my Z mount camera with an adapter. and my D850 can keep using the gen 1. It may be too repetitive though.
This was really good!
I’m interest in this one ! I already bought the 24-70 mm G2 zoom lens and I love it ❤ very sharp .
❤❤❤ the original ladder on Devil's Tower amazed me!
😍😍😍
I should clarify, the Crazy Horse Monument is by donation only because the Indigenous people refuse to accept federal grant money because of the Mount Rushmore controversy.
Been using it as my standard lens for my camera for a year now and have no complaints
I take it that this was after Richard had been deposed by Henry IV. Whatever became of his Queen?
My memory is a bit fuzzy since performing in the show but in the play, I believe she fled to France when Richard was deposed since she was of the French royal family.
i have this lens for almost 4 years now . from canon 1d mark iv , to 6D to 6d mkii now in my Eos R. and will be in my r6 as soon as i upgraded. no issues on autofocus and i love the VC. Quality of the lens is a1
hello thank you for your review! do you have any issue with the auto focus on canon EOS R6 with the adapter ring and this lens?
Thanks! I've never had any issues with it on my R6, the adapter and auto-focus work perfectly for me.
Obbiettivo 16mm, e un'obiettivo per interni?
This lens is also great for video
I own the NON-IS version and fully satisfied with it. IS III is heavier.
remove the intro & comedy, fill w/ important data about the lens. Thanks.
Very nicely said, I also did this speech. ruclips.net/video/Oluuze42QHE/видео.html 😀
Thanks for the informative video, I inherited a 60D and havent shot with it much but wanted to try astrophotography. I even have a telescope to shoot pics of the lens with and got some cool pics of the moon and Jupiter with its moons on my phone just taking pics of the eye piece. I appreciate the info!
LOL this destroyed me
Worst thing ive ever seen especially since I've been in recovery for 6 years. It's not even slightly entertaining.
🤣🤣🤣
Can that lens be used for video? I’m considering a cine lens, but I don’t have a lot of budget right now. Thanks
I think it "can", but keep in mind it's a manual focus lens so if you're filming someone sitting or standing in one spot from the camera it should work. If you need a constant auto-focus for a subject moving all over the place, then it's probably a different story.
@@PixeledMoment Okay thanks!
just shot a outdoors day event (lowrider picnic) using A BLACK PRO MIST FILTER stacked with a ND filter. These really improve the visuals big time. I shoot with a D3200 Nikon Crop Senor DSLR and 35mm kit lens.
I have a Canon M50. Would you recommend this Rokinon 16mm f/2.0 over the Sigma 16mm f1.4 for real estate photography and videography?
To be fair I haven't had experience with that Sigma lens, but for real estate photos I was given strong recommendations and found myself to stick to around f11 so I would think either lens should work great if the sharpness and image quality are very similar.
I just bought this lens for my RUclips videos. Can't wait to try it.
Great lens, easy to focus, built like a tank.
It might be worth noting that the Nikon version of this lens is chipped, which means you can use in-camera metering (allowing autoexposure), rangefinder for focus assistance, and it will store exif data. On most Nikon DSLRs, this also means setting the aperture ring to min (f22) and using the camera body to set aperture, depending on camera body. I have a D70, D3500, and D5600. The metering works on the 5600, but not the D3500 or D70. On the D3500 and D70 it becomes a fully manual lens.
Correction: the lens works for AE on a D70
the intro made me feel so much better droppin 2k
One of the most underrated lenses. Already at F2.0 great sharpness across the frame. Be sure to fine tune your AF to get these results.
did you buy your camera from canon website ?
I bought mine through Amazon.
I agree the HDR PQ is out of this earth the 4k 60p it has everything I want and full frame im so fuckin satisfied with mine if your planning on buying a mirrorless full frame 4k hdr camera buy this open a credit card like I did and buy it dont be scared you'll be happy
I am a 80d user for 4years.Now want to upgrade to r6.I think it is a good approach as a hobbyist.
