I am in mid Michigan and I am scared to have babies until late April because of the weather. So far two are due both on April 13. Any tips would be awesome
Don’t be scared! It’s so much fun! We have little huts made out of plastic barrels and heat lamps. They love them. Just be careful with the heat lamp, they can be dangerous. One of our first videos we showed how we made them. Just keep watch and try to catch any threat mamas may reject. That way they don’t freeze. Kidding season is my favorite time of the year.
I have made the barrel and with heat light. I am scared to even let them out in real cold days. I had babies last year and this last spring , I love kidding season to … babies … awwwwww. I just don’t want them getting sick. I check them out everyday since I lost one last year to coccidia.
