The variety of characters in this one made this one of the more intriguing episodes. The older lady/"roastie" was my favorite. You got her spot on. I was captivated.

Nathan is a very well written character. You can see that he has a very big moral flaw, that being his envy, but, at the same time, you can see that it's caused by something he has little control over. He can't just "Git good!" and become attractive. He can't change his height. He can't change his baldness. He can't change his voice. He will always be low status. All he can do is find peace and be happy that his friends have succeded where he could not and hopefully not be consumed by his envy instead. It takes a heroic humbleness to find peace with such a condition. People have no problem writing Sebastian's story. Sebastian's story is about making the most out of the chances you have. But few people have the courage to write Nathan's story. Because Nathan's story is about making the most out of the fact that you've got no chance.

nah there are several things he could do: start eating healthy and workout and get ripped,that will make him like atleast a 6,then he can start dressing well,maybe get a better jawline,gain more confidence,actually try to get a job,etc and then he could become above status
Despite not really liking any of them, he ironically seems to have an easier time talking with the people there than he does his friends, (at least in my opinion.) You can really tell they're all cut from the same fabric, being that they're alone and feel entitled and are unwilling to settle for people who are about as imperfect as they are. The bisexual dude wont settle for the other queer guys because they don't meet his standards and instead tries to look for attention in the straight section, the fat girl while being arguably better natured than the others has problems that she ignores by telling herself that other guys just can't handle her, the single divorced mom feels entitled to a one-sided relationship where a man provides, (based off of her appearance and story she probably had higher value on the dating market if she was able to marry the owner of a company,) and the influencer feels entitled because she feels like she is doing everyone a service and deserves compensation through her own personal happiness. By and large, maybe the irony is that the characters seem to understand each other decently well and are accurate in their criticisms, but none of them really deserve any better than each other even if they believe they are too good for one another. Remember kings and queens, if you actually want a chance at landing a decent person, work on being a decent person yourself beforehand.

Nathan is the one character I hope gets a redemption arc, Sebastien got his with the whole gf arc and getting along with his sometimes selfish friends (or maybe it will prove a step back after the forest incident is explained?) Patrick got halfway redeemed by being a gentle giants and being “interesting” to other people. Julian is setup for an upbringing arc given that they just told us why he is the butt of the jock. He was presssured to do stupid things in order to please his friends and now he became a jerk as a result. Nathan however doesn’t seem to have any signs of wanting to be better, but this video showed us a more realistic perspective and relatability of him.

Despite not really liking any of them, he ironically seems to have an easier time talking with the people there than he does his friends, (at least in my opinion.) You can really tell they're all cut from the same fabric, being that they're alone and feel entitled and are unwilling to settle for people who are about as imperfect as they are.
The bisexual dude wont settle for the other queer guys because they don't meet his standards and instead tries to look for attention in the straight section, the fat girl while being arguably better natured than the others has problems that she ignores by telling herself that other guys just can't handle her, the single divorced mom feels entitled to a one-sided relationship where a man provides, (based off of her appearance and story she probably had higher value on the dating market if she was able to marry the owner of a company,) and the influencer feels entitled because she feels like she is doing everyone a service and deserves compensation through her own personal happiness.
By and large, maybe the irony is that the characters seem to understand each other decently well and are accurate in their criticisms, but none of them really deserve any better than each other even if they believe they are too good for one another.
Remember kings and queens, if you actually want a chance at landing a decent person, work on being a decent person yourself beforehand.

Patrick got halfway redeemed by being a gentle giants and being “interesting” to other people. Julian is setup for an upbringing arc given that they just told us why he is the butt of the jock. He was presssured to do stupid things in order to please his friends and now he became a jerk as a result.
Nathan however doesn’t seem to have any signs of wanting to be better, but this video showed us a more realistic perspective and relatability of him.
I am curious to see how things are going to roll.
