The fact that the Crash Bandicoot 4 platinum is a 9/10 on the difficulty scale really shows how difficult it is when the Dark Souls games (1, 2, 3) and Elden Ring are only 7-8/10 in terms of platinum difficulty.

Bro, dark souls games are significantly easier than crash for platinum. For dark souls game u don’t have to do anything fancy like beating the whole game hitless or anything. U just gotta play through the game normally, kill all the bosses, collect all collectibles and interact with most NPS’s. I have platinumued all Fromsoft games. They are nothing like crash. For crash I just played through the main game once then I sold the game. Didn’t even think twice to plat

@@bahhumbug5467 daemon souls took me about 45hrs. One of the trophies was really weird. U needed an item that would drop by killing an enemy type. But the chances of dropping it was less than 1%. But I asked a friend of me who already got plat, he dropped me the item and then I pick it up and it worked. DS3 has a popular invasion spot, search on RUclips.

As someone that has platinumed the entire N'Sane trilogy, I know just getting the gold time trial relics were a nightmare! then there's everything else on top of that for the Crash 4 platinum. So this is why I haven't touched this game and I don't think I ever will. However, this was a delight watching you earn this platinum. Absolutely brilliant! :)

Fun Fact: you can access a secret in Dragging On
the secret is when you go to the part where you did the "foolish mistake" also known as when N Brio thinks he doesn't have any friends you have to jump on the crate and activate Akano at the same time and do the double jump and move up on the joystick! Perfect for speedruns!

I love rewatching this video. Having done this hellish platinum last year, I feel your pain dude. Crash 1-3 were already tough to platinum, but this one they really woke up and chose violence. Lol

As much as I am loving Crash 4, N. Verted mode was quite possibly one of the worst decisions ever made in a Crash game:
"Hey guys, how about we make the players complete every single level without dying, breaking all the boxes and getting 80% Wumpa Fruit for the N. Sanely Perfect Relic as well as find a hidden gem; AND THEN make them play the entire level again, break all the boxes again, get 80% Wumpa again, and find the hidden gem AGAIN but this time the entire level is inverted, the hidden gem is in a new location AND there's an ugly af filter applied to the level that makes it hard to see! Surely everyone will love this!"

This is elite! I know how hard this can get. That Toxic Tunnels perfect relic is a pain and the Platinum Relics overall require a lot of skill. Probably my second hardest completion just beaten out by Trackmania Turbo. Congrats man! This is a completion to be really proud of!😁

I can only imagine in my worst nightmares how much harder this platinum would be if you did retro mode instead of modern which gives you limited lives and game overs. 💀
Not really? The hard part of this trophy is the N. Sanely perfect relics (where you can't die) and the platinum time trial relics (where you also can't die) so it doesn't really matter how many lives you have
I was referring to stuff like getting Clear Gems and the Blue One.
I just got the platinum trophy after around 230 hours of absolute torture.
There aren’t enough words in the English language to describe how frustrating this game is. The levels are way too long, missable boxes, bugs/glitches galore, and Cortex handles like crap.
I have some VERY difficult platinums like Devil May Cry 4 and 5, Cuphead, all FromSoft games etc, but just getting all the N. Sanely Perfect relics and doing all the Platinum Time Trials are by far the hardest things I’ve done in gaming. I almost gave up a few times, but I preserved through and did it.
The bonus stages are supposed to be fun, but they’re torture, and the gem path in Toxic Tunnels could be the worst section in modern gaming history.
And the plat times for the relics are literal n. sanity. It took me 10 hours to get the plat relic in Jetboard Jetty because the controls are so bad.
Rock Blocked is another n. sane contender because you have to be absolutely perfect to get the plat relic. And why did they decide to give a triple spin and not the good running shoes? Did they really need to make it MORE challenging?
Still, after 230 hours, I’m finally done. Sorry for all the complaining 😅 There’s just a lot of things that could have been much better in my opinion. If Toys For Bob DOES do another Crash game, they need to scale back on the difficulty, make the levels shorter, give us the running shoes back, make bonus sections fun, and make full completion require only gold relics only.
The game stopped being fun after about the 50 hour mark, so they really need to fix that if they do another one.
Anyway, congrats on your amazing accomplishment. I know your pain all too well, so take pride in knowing you have one of the HARDEST platinum trophies ever made. HUGE congratulations!

16:37 I had the exact same experience with this level ("No Dillo Dallying") yesterday. I also spent what seemed like 4-5 hours though i spent it mostly practising that part and failing to find a consistent method. Funny thing is, i started it thinking it was gonna be the easiest one yet lol (since the Run it Bayou level is based on was easy for me). When i first miraculously got past the trick part the first time, i missed a box when i turned around with the boat to go slower. Why on earth did you do it in N.Verted mode tho lmao (edit: oh you knew 19:57)
N.Verted mode is fast paced in that level
I eventually found a pretty consistent method though so it's all good.
The really hard part starts at 17:13. My method i found was, hold R1 and forward (that's all), and crash, on his own, will jump onto both the tnt crate and the regular crate above. All i do is press square at max height. Then slide and double jump and x. Then the R1 thing again, but this time, the TNT is so close Crash just jumps over it (as desired). Then, from the fixed platform, i do the slide-spin-jump thing to get the crate and land on the tnt. Then the slide spin jump thing again to go on the fixed platform.

It took me 2 full weeks to get it when the game originally came out in Oct 2020. Back then I never imagined I would become so good at the game (currently holding any% Speedrun world record since July 2021).

Completing this game 106% is the hardest thing I've ever done and I'm getting mild PTSD just from watching this video. Especially the polar bear levels. Seriously, great job to anyone who can pull this off.
The funny part is Nick AR is actually playing the easier version of the Crash It’s About Time game.
The original out the box, with no update mods was way, way more difficult. Game layouts and certain glitched gems was changed to make it easier for gamers.
I am yet to find a single gamer online, that has completed the Crash 4 Platinum Trophy Out Of The Box.
