Tiger Biondi, what a guy. Never met someone who has as much fun playing golf as Francis (its also more fun when you birdie every other hole 😂).

I guess my secret weapon was a good mental game this time! Thanks for helping me out on the round. Maybe we should write a book on "How to Play Golf with Your Mind"?!

Thanks a lot! I did play golf professionally in a recent past life. Right now, I'm focused on creating more content to help golfers improve their game, but who knows what the future holds! Might have to dust off the old sticks and show the youngsters what it's about.

Fun video, and what a great score. I’m going to try talking my way through each shot next time I get out on the course

This is a great type of video and one I find players/instructors of your level don’t recognize the value in enough. Sure, the average AM doesn’t strike it like you, but seeing a round talked out like this and with the various angles you use it’s a great way to better understand what we are trying to accomplish on the course. It’s almost like having an instructor right along side you on the course.
The tip about playing front tees to build confidence is great too. I’ve wanted to do it myself for a long time, but it often is a pace of play issue on just about any course I’ve ever played. I’ll almost always be hitting into the group ahead if I play from the front tee, especially at the course I worked at this year…major pace of play issues. But maybe one time before the worst of the winter weather comes in Ohio I’ll be able to do it. I know it can be a useful tool to breaking 80 and shooting more consistently in the low 80s from the white/blue tees.

Looks like I've found a fellow front tee enthusiast! I totally get the pace of play issue, but maybe we should start a front tee revolution. Who needs to hit it far when you can hit it straight, right? Keep up the great work and let's break those scores together!

@@BeyondGolfPerformance I was able to get out and play from the red tees at a course I've played before and shot fairly well at. While I didn't play particularly well I did shoot 82 with three birdies. Had a couple blowup holes still, but I found that it really helped approach shots from within 125 yards. Those 2nds on Par 5s were much less daunting too. I also found my putting to be improved as well(albeit that was due to some changes I've made with putting). Definitely something I might try and take advantage of in less than ideal condition days going forward.
