    Alex, I tried this for my round this morning and it worked great for both my driver and irons. Only problem I have now is I need to adjust my yardage as I'm flying all the greens, but nice problem to have. Thanks for the tip Mickey

    Super! How to grip it and rip it. Alex totally correct here. It does all start happening when you get this left hand grip just right. Most dont. Adam Scott has a method to proprly grip in the fingers of your left hand and i have used it for about a month and I have never hit it as well as these last weeks by doing this every shot. Will try the Alex method for sure now as it seems a bit quicker :) Nice one mate!

    Great tip Alex, only thought was that from behind should your trail arm not look like it’s underneath your lead arm to show you have enough shoulder tilt with driver, the angle you showed it looked like your arms were more level ?

    Alex, this was a REALLY interesting video. I've had a lot of lessons from a variety of teaching pros and they've never commented or made changes on how I should be addressing the ball. I have a question that I'm hoping you can answer. When swinging, how much effort for lead arm vs trailing arm. I'm strongly right handed but golf left handed and cannot seem to get my swing speed over 91mph...wondering if I'm pulling too much vs pushing not enough. Always enjoy then and ESPECIALLY that you are concise! Thanks for your videos!

    Awesome vid Alex. Always enjoy your vids bro.
    I've got one....was trying to get more distance on all clubs. I am a 45 yo tradie so I'm no Arnold Schwarzenegger but I'm not weak either.
    2 years into golf and maybe 15 lessons in, I have a great coach who helps alot with technique. But today I managed to do something weird at the driving range and was smashing clubs like crazy. It seems I was simply not taking my swing back far enough. To take the clubs way back around and really get that "twisted up spring" so to speak and then release the tension hips dragging arms around seemed to really help. Would love to see a vid on this. I think of my body as twisting up a spring and then letting is lose but no seems to talk of the golf swing in this way. Not that I've noticed anyway. Interested to know your thoughts and thankyou for all your vids. ❤

    Good one Alex as normal. Why do Golfers mainly go for the Big Tees when using their drivers.. I have found the mid size white [plastic] Tee gets the ball much higher & further. The big Tee tends to encourage a "non center" ball strike. Looks like you are using the smaller tee!

    Different length clubs mean different angles but I guess we’ll leave it at that with driver definitely on a flatter angle being the longest club and the ball on a tee.

    I think I've said this before. The more you lean over with a long club like driver, that isn't extended at setup, surely it's just going to risk smashing into the ground.

  • @LarryJL
    @LarryJL 7 дней назад

    A genuine question: If this is how you're supposed to hit a club, why don't the manufacturers have the shaft angle be such that the club head would be level? Adding lie angle like this leads to the ball going more to the left. I don't think shaft droop would counteract all of the lie angle especially with a very stiff shaft.
