So pleased you guys in the US have kinda Discovered Christopher Ward. I have long been a fan since buying the Sealander and been very impressed, I might even add the consort bracelet too at some stage to take it a step up. Does make me proud been British that this brand is doing so well recently, and with this new moon-phase plus the now award winning Bel Canto, it’s definitely going from strength to strength. 👌
Congrats on the purchase, Bruce. I love what CW has been doing this year; the Bel Canto, then The 12, and now this Moonphase. I never seriously considered a CW in the past and was too late on the Bel Canto, but I quickly purchased their next offering, The 12. This Moonphase (as well as the Bel Canto) is on my future purchase list. Good job, CW, I'm now a fan.
Christopher Ward is one of my favorite brands for the value they offer in their watches. I currently own 2, a C60 Sapphire blue diver and The Twelve in 40 mm with the glacier blue dial and I wear them a lot. Beautiful watches
If you wear it for special occasions, like going out with your wife, it’s almost like you got it for your wife! Love it. Good to see Christopher Ward getting that respect they deserve.
I want this watch as I've always had an obsession with the moon and astronomy. But, I'm afraid that it won't fit me and I doubt I'd be able to try one on. But damn it is an absolutely stunning watch.
This is real nice. I bought an Arnold & Son Perpetual Moon earlier this year that looks similar to this design. I do like that sparkly dial though! Great pick up
Gorgeous watch, CW is doing a phenomenal job in the recent years and I think they're finally getting the attention they deserve. I have one question regarding the moonphase complication, is it hard to adjust it in case you don't keep your watches wound all the time? I know most perpetual calendars are complicated but don't know anything about moonphases.
The only concern I'd have viewing this as a long term watch is that CW most likely will improve it with a new model in a few years (could be 5+ years, not sure how fast CW refresh their models)
I"m a big fan of CW and own 4 of their watches. But I would like to know if they're paying you for this wall-to-wall coverage, Bruce. Are you receiving any compensation from them? Again - I'm a fan and like to see them getting good pub. But this level of commitment to a single brand really gives me pause. If they're paying you, just say so. If they're compensating you in some other way, likewise. That way, we can know the context.
Nope, I am not being paid. But I am really excited about borrowing the other watches. In previous years, I've been unsuccessful in my borrow requests to CWard. Now that that has changed, I will take every opportunity. Next videos are the C63 Celest, the Bel Canto, and The Twelve. The only one I own is this C1 moonphase. I try to be even keel in my presentations, but despite my efforts I usually am overly excited about my own purchases. Sometimes viewers take my bias aa a slight to watches I don't own. Though I don't feel that way. Hopefully, that makes sense
Bruce, the CW Moon Phase caught my eye too! I assume you bought it on CW’s website. Did CW include the VAT tax in the purchase price, or reduce your price by removing it?
@@BruceWilliams no 😅 but I have personal rule . Never wear a watch less than 5 atm . Even my diver watches I take them off everyday when I go 🛀🏻 🤣. So 3 atm it’s not problem … but deep inside something stops me from these watches. Even Cartier Tank ❤️ great watch but when I see 3 atm … Game Over 😂
CW are one of the most exciting brands out there right now. Can't wait to see what next year brings.
I fully agree!
Christopher Ward has really made headway in the last few years ❤ This watch is not my thing but still kinda cool 😊

Same here, the brand became really appealing over the past year. Excited to see what they do next
You know you're a real watch nerd when you take off your Day Date and put on a Christopher Ward for special occasions.
Haha I love this comment
Man, so true!
I love this watch. I have a Bel Canto and a Twelve. This is on my short list, it seems like it would be calming on the wrist.

They have been killing it. Super impressed with a lot of their designs
Love the look of this one. The texture of the moon is fantastic.
Beautiful watch! I wish the C63 celest was in 38mm. Will have to wait for your vid on it to see how it looks on 7.25 wrist.
Christopher Ward skyrocketed to being one of the most innovative watch brands not only in its price bracket. True trailblazer!
Great looking watches from CW. Looking forward to the C63 Celeste review, really like the look of that 👌
If you wear it for special occasions, like going out with your wife, it’s almost like you got it for your wife! Love it. Good to see Christopher Ward getting that respect they deserve.
Classy.. i love the image of moon and aventurine. I especially like it with with no christoper ward branding on the dial 😉
Great looking watch!

Very fun watch! Congrats BW!
Great review, and nice low-key reveal of the Aquis Pro 4000. Very sneaky!
Its my next video...
Love Christopher Ward watches 👌
Looks gorgeous, congratulations!
Thank you
It looks like a collaboration between Swatch and Movado
Incredible watch. Super minimal layout. Nice purchase.
It’s a lovely piece!
Congrats friend!
Thank you!
Bel canto vs Moon, as a unique or complication piece in a collection.
Word! I waited and they went up $200. Wonder what the import duties will be too.
This is real nice. I bought an Arnold & Son Perpetual Moon earlier this year that looks similar to this design. I do like that sparkly dial though! Great pick up
Thank you. Congrats on your high horological pickup!
Such a great pickup. Let me know when you get that BW discount code for the Bel Canto I want😂

I have one question regarding the moonphase complication, is it hard to adjust it in case you don't keep your watches wound all the time? I know most perpetual calendars are complicated but don't know anything about moonphases.
Not hard to adjust at all. You do need to reference a moonphase chart for your locale to set it, though. I have one on my phone for my C1 Moonglow.
The only concern I'd have viewing this as a long term watch is that CW most likely will improve it with a new model in a few years (could be 5+ years, not sure how fast CW refresh their models)
38mm with a shorter lug to lug would have been perfect.
Looks like a big Movado
Can we get a look at the Aquitaine GMT from CW? My personal grail

damn if they only managed to make that dial gap less noticeable...
Good video - nice watch

I did. There were state taxes I had to pay, but no VAT
Im over the moon 🌙 for this watch 😅
Look it's an H moser!
When on wrist, how obvious is the gap/depth between the dial and moon disc?
It is very minimal. I am completely satisfied with how they did it
when are you selling it?
I already sold it
@@BruceWilliams a true fan bought your autographed version to always have you with them.
@@Brian1f1 haha I was only kidding. I didn't sell it and don't plan on it. Maybe a giveaway if I hit 200k subs or something
Do you usually keep moonphase watches on watch winder to track the moon all year?
I only owned one moonphase before and I just kept it wound or wore it
Okay, maybe I will get it after all.. ha
Old model Day date a grail watch? 😂
Sorry I don't speak clearly. Its a 'long term goal type of purchase. A grail level watch' and no this is the current 40mm 228238 with the newer screws
"Special" person to buy this!
Two wedding rings!
Gotta match my watch when I wear stainless or yellow gold :)
@@BruceWilliamshaha love this philosophy 🤣
Cool looking, but the case back is boring … and 3 ATM …. 😢
Haha do you need to take your adventurine dial jumbo moonphase swimming?

Is there a discount code for this piece?
I don't have any discount codes for CWard
Over priced fashion watches.
Welcome to the world of watches my friend
