My son had renters that would not pay or leave…long story short , he dumped all their stuff out on the lawn and changed the locks…he had a beautiful home, they trashed it too. I don’t understand why people do that…he sold that house to get rid of the headache.
My family went through much of the same. The tenants squatted for great lengths of time destroyed the place even buried jugs of oil in the backyard. Much much more too. Much less though my family has pulled some dark dark ish in their lives nobody was without baggage just reminds me to be the best I can empower to be though that said I am so far from perfect too so I learn each day to let go of judgment and take the hand of any person they were not all that had them do what they do. We really are all one. Y’all are good people I see you do your best and blessed be all who take this hand.
Make sure you disinfect those scratches from the dumpster. Take care and frankly you need to sue those ppl who left that house trashed. For the man hours, dumpster rental and rehabing the house.

And I just found out today that they are being evicted for multiple reasons, one especially being the state of the house. Karma is real and it's comin for these people. On the final time she was recovering from cancer so decided to use an agent. All went well until one night the police came to her door to say that there had been a fire and her apartment was completely burned out. Turns out the renter had sublet it to a 'friend' who caused an explosion when cooking up a batch of drugs of some sort. Neither the renter or drug guy were ever traced. She ended up selling it once the renovations had been completed.
That is absolutely horrible. I had the same situation in Massachusetts. It was a bitch trying to get rid of them and when I finally did, they left me a disaster mole everywhere trash everywhere is disgusting. I wish you and your wife good luck and I’ll say my prayers.

All that has to be done is for them to see your first video to “get it.” One experience is enough - no more renting. Even if you think you know your renters, you don’t know how they live or maintain a domicile.

Such a hard lesson to learn and so unfortunate that being kind and helping people so often is not appreciated and just taken advantage of. I heard you mention in another video that you were so done and selling the house but consider not selling. Rental properties are such a great long term investment. If you keep it, think about buying more properties. Multi family is better than a single home (you can use 75% of the projected rental income to get the larger loan most times). Also, you might consider either hiring a property management company or even starting your own if you’re going to have multiple properties and continue to add. You gotta think about 10-15-20 years down the line. Will RUclips be what it is now or whatever else you do for income? Property ownership is a great long term investment. Just take the right steps to take the stress off yourself as much as possible and make sure you remember that it’s a business, not a charity. Serve warnings and evictions immediately when there’s a problem. It’s ok to work with someone if they need a few days or whatever but give one chance to make it right and never more. It looks like a nice neighbourhood so vet people well, ask for references if you want. It’s difficult but it can be done and since you’ve already got the one rental property, I’d keep going. Like I said though, multi family units are good because you e got more money coming in every month so if one out of 16 or whatever don’t pay rent one month it’s not a huge blow compared to one tenant. Good luck though guys with whatever you decide. You’re doing great with this clean up!

Only reason why I know this is because my boyfriend is a drug addict I'm a recovering drug addict I think for a long time and my boyfriend makes messes like this and there's some stuff in the house that makes me think yeah they're drug problem they have a drug problem
