Listen, her PI stories don't promote her MLM specifically. They're hilarious and in my opinion encourage "quit telling women they can't" in a good way. Her Instagram is Seint heavy, but the PI stories seem pretty separate (aside from her doing her own makeup while talking, but that's not abnormal for the Internet). I am adamantly against MLMs but I'll follow her indefinitely lol.

It's interesting how the private investigator complains about anti-mlm comments, but the comments from haters she actually found a rap sheet for were comments on her appearance and had nothing to do with anti-mlm. I don't know if she was like, intentionally trying to draw parallels between anti-mlm and hateful ad hominem attacks and a certain type of offenders, but either way it's weird seeing them together.

      @BewareTheLilyOfTheValley Год назад +24

@@elenasophiejunk-rausch5782I also said she likely made it up. It sounds way too salacious and over the top. And if she's such a good investigator, she should easily see the issues with an MLM. When someone spouts their main line of work but uses it to be hateful, I doubt them quickly.
For example, my job deals with tech support for many of my state's agencies. I once was helping a social worker with the application to renew her license. She was already high-strung when I accepted the call and everything I suggested to her was met with a swift and nasty "I already tried that!" So, I told her to please send me a screenshot of what she had entered. I already knew she was wrong, but we were getting nowhere and I knew physically pointing out where she'd gone wrong was the only way to get this know-it-all to face her screw-up. She decided to respond with, "I think you just don't want to help me. That's just based on my professional opinion." Ha! I spun a quick tale about how the screenshot would help our website developers if there was a major issue with the website.
There of course, was not. After the call and after I got the email, I easily showed her where she had been missing a part of the application and that was why she couldn't get to the next page, a part she had sworn up and down that she had completed. She waited MANY hours before responding back with a plain "thank you" 😂😂😂 and I'm shocked I got even that! I really wish I could've seen her face when she read my response. And that is why when someone tries to leverage their "expertise" against me to try to get a one-up in a conversation, I take it with a handful of sand. Maybe they might have the license that says they're something but that doesn't mean they're the brightest Crayon in the box and should always have some humility in case they are wrong.

One time I asked a legit question about the brush she uses and was advertising as a special brush you can do your full face with, just asking what made it special? I am in recovery from a serious drug and alcohol addiction. If you looked at my record you would see a few convictions for misdemeanor charges (nothing violent) but that wouldn't give you the whole story. It wouldn't even tell you the worst things I've done or experienced, but most importantly it wouldn't tell you how hard I fought to get clean and sober in 2016 and to maintain my sobriety since then. I will have 7 years of sobriety in October (a strong 6 now) and the work I've done on myself in recovery says way more about me than a few mistakes I made while on drugs. As a T2D, I find this so concerning. First, the people who will die without insulin are mostly Type 1 diabetics - type 2s can and do take insulin to treat the disease, but Type 1s are the ones who can have very dangerous immediate consequences if they don’t have access to it. Their bodies doesn’t produce insulin, which we need to live. Type 2s are resistant to insulin, which basically means their bodies ignore the insulin that does exist (and tell your brain it’s starving) but the effects of that have a longer time horizon. Ozempic and other drugs like it DO NOT CONTAIN INSULIN. They act on receptors in the body that are related to the endocrine system. Not all injectables are insulin-based. Furthermore, Ozempic is prescribed only for type 2 diabetics, a type 1 would die if they suddenly stopped taking insulin and took Ozempic instead. And finally, if non-diabetics take additional insulin in any form, they CAN DIE. That is not a joke. If you think Ozempic = insulin and decide to take insulin to lose weight, it could kill you. Spoiler alert for the movie Memento, but that’s part of the plot line. Anyone, type 1 or 2, who is on insulin has to be very careful about their dosage and food intake and blood sugar levels or they can have a stroke and die. So taking too much insulin can kill you too, it’s not just those without access to it. Not to mention, speaking from experience, insulin can cause weight gain 🙃 a minor point but one that I feel is worth mentioning given the realities of pressure people feel about their weight. I realize the Modere hun just mixed up inulin and insulin, but it is very very dangerous to presume that Ozempic = insulin and therefore causes weight loss. It does not and trying insulin for kicks could kill you. Dealing with weight and diabetes is extremely tough in our society for both types and none of this is helping. Pro tip, if you are interested in the weight loss side effects of Ozempic but are not diabetic, talk to your doctor about Wegovy, which is prescribed for that purpose. And know that these drugs are not without side effects. Signed - a person who was on insulin and is now on Mounjaro and just spent two days lying in bed after the last dose of Mounjaro went haywire. ❤ to all my diabetic buddies out there!

I remember hearing her once telling her friend how her mom had started getting on her a** so she was watching her every morning to make sure she took a shot before school and ate breakfast so she took a vial and emptied it and put water in it so her mother would still see her giving herself the shot. She finally did stop because she came dangerously close to dying a few times but she wasn't well a lot because ED was big when I was in high school.

When my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD I had a number of other mothers telling me about a great book I had to read to help me with that. I got it from the library, read the intro and took it back. Basically this guy decided that kids have ADHD because of the chemicals they're ingesting. If you give your baby formula it's your fault because there's chemicals in it. Then again if you nurse it's still your fault because of all the chemicals you're ingesting and putting into the milk. So apparently the best way to make sure your baby doesn't grow up to have something like ADHD is to not feed them. Idiot.

I think it's important to also add that there are many people who take Ozempic or Wogovy for weight loss as prescribed by a doctor. Weight loss medication prescribed by a doctor is usually a last resort for those who are overweight and cannot lose weight other ways such as: a calorie deficit, working out, seeing a nutritionist, and major lifestyle changes. I'm not saying that you're insinuating this, but imo it's important to point out that not everyone who takes these medications is doing it because it's the "easy way" to lose weight. It's often because they've tried everything else.

I'm not eligible for weight loss surgery due to a history of clotting complications. Plus, that's pretty extreme. I've tried lots of things, but results are either lackluster or temporary. I finally went to a weight loss specialist physician and he recommended this drug. Not as a fix, but as a tool to springboard change that never worked when I did it on my own. I decided to try other drugs that my insurance would cover first, since the cost is quite high. I'd be committing to purchasing a $950 Ozempic pen every 3-4 months if I went that route. People don't choose to do that on a whim, and not everyone who does is a rich celebrity.

I am chronically ill and my biggest symptom is pain, being bedridden/housebound at 25 isn’t something I’d wish on anyone. It’s given me the opportunity to lose weight I couldn’t on my own. Is it a fix, no has it helped me, immensely. I’m now able to consider things like water fitness, something I couldn’t even imagine despite it being such a low impact form of fitness. I use a walking stick a fair amount just to give you an idea of my struggle. It’s not a long term solution I have several specialists involved. I can imagine it would also be more typical to blame the mother as it couldn’t possibly be random or Gods fault that you or your child had a genetic condition or illness

I already have photosensitivity. It’s a side effect of my antidepressant and migraine meds. Several summers ago at the beach, I used MULTIPLE sunscreens and I still got a second-degree burn on my face, shoulders, back, and chest. Bacon boobs, as we’ve since called it (yeah, the upper half of them were burned and blistered too), is no fun. No way would I slather my body in oils that could make it worse.

Even beyond the obvious inulin/insulin mix-up and the fact that she thinks ozembic is insulin, insulin isn’t taken by mouth, which is why it’s injected. Which just further supports that she has no idea what she’s talking about. Yikes 😬

I'm so stuck on number one bc just so much is going on.
What makes ppl lose weight with ozempic is that it makes you lose your appetite (which is what pretty much all weight loss supplements do). Insulin doesn't cause weight loss, quick Google search tells me it can actually make you gain some weight. And insulin isn't in ozempic at all anyway.

Preach!! I ❤ my essential oils for diffusing. But honey chile! You cannot ingest the dang oils! Some of these folks just done lost their damn minds when it domes to DoTerra & Young Living. I call it a cult all the time. Mary Kay Cosmetics. Again, luv their products. I’ve been a rep for 30 plus years. How many are in my “down line”…ZERO. I’m in it for my personal product. Period. Hell, I don’t even think my “up line” is a director any longer. Luv your vids!

I'm not sure about in the USA, but in Canada we also saw a shortage because of the Ozempic issue, It wasn't until about 2 months ago I could get my full dosage (3 pens instead of 1 pen per refill)

Regarding essential oils: they aren't even "natural". They have to be made by external means, some by very much manmade methods because they have to be steam extracted. That doesn't happen in the wild. I get so annoyed by this when it comes up in the oily hun clips. At the same time, my heart breaks for this poor woman. She's doing what she thought was best for her kid.

Oh my, the Southwestern Advantage just started going around my small town. It is creepy. I have to recruit families for my preschool program and I feel like a creep for doing that. Last year we were told not to go door to door because it wasn't safe, but this year we we were told to do it again! We are also asked to go to different playgrounds looking for families, again making me feel like a creep. We live in a very rural, very gun happy neighborhood, so it isn't safe. It is the worst part of an otherwise decent job. Additionally, as a daughter and mother of diabetics, I found your "insulin" story a little entertaining. Consequently, a co-worker recently started using Ozempic and was getting quite sick when they upped her dosage. It is very concerning! I am so glad that I found your channel!

3:30 It doesn't have in*s*ulin but it probably has inulin. Which is a prebiotic fibre ingredient added to food to (artificially) increase the fibre content of the food.
Edit: lol I kept watching you go on to address it literally five seconds later.
