A little thought, Hanna. Having that sensory overload feeling can be a symptom of postpartum depression. My depression had more to do with brain function than feeling ‘down’. I had trouble focussing, was on sensory overload, my brain felt ‘slow’ and muddled. Fortunately, with a bit of pharmaceutical help, a bit of CBT and time, I recovered fully, and had no issues with my second. If it gets worse, or you have other symptoms, it might be something to be aware of.
Exactly as I said in the comments to the other video by the woman who said the Scentsy-Disney partnership is “GROSS”… here’s my response verbatim: However… 1) you make it sound like the scents are so strong that they are bombarding and overwhelming, blasting out like cannons everywhere… 2) people that know they have scent allergies or conditions that have symptoms which can be triggered by smells should already be prepared for this going into a public situation where they know that they may be exposed to smells even just from other people’s personal scented products (shampoo, conditioner, perfume, cologne, hairspray, hair gel, body spray, deodorant, clothing detergents and softeners, even some cosmetics, lotions and moisturizers, etc. 3) The scented attractions are contained, not overly exposed. 4) Re: Disney-Scentsy Smellaphant attraction - [ ] I believe that people dissing this whole thing Owe the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) community an apology for the ignoring/denying the validity of the sensory experience by dismissing the Smellalphants attraction as way to enjoy vacation time with their family at Disney (We deserve to live in this world too, not just stay cooped up at home all the time just because some people disregard us as valuable to the community in general-regardless of our individual circumstances and challenges) - [ ] Valid sensory experience for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other conditions and/or disorders, especially those whom are not able to safely participate in more vigorous activities or go on rides that may jostle, bump, jerk, change directions quickly, change speeds suddenly, and/or otherwise cause/trigger an attack of epilepsy and/or migraine. - (I am a migraineur and a lot of smells trigger a migraine attack on me, so for myself I know that I have to be careful to wear my allergens filter mask and avoid most scents, but it doesn’t mean that I won’t support my other friends whom also have ASD that CAN safely enjoy engaging in such activities and attractions).- - [ ] Importance of self-paced activities of which an individual may/can voluntarily cease at any time they choose - [ ] Quiet/peaceful area of park (as particularly mentioned in the vlog) key to safety and wellbeing
@@rditty11there’s a huge difference between being able to go to Target and enjoy your shopping there and going to Target but still feeling the urge or having the need to promote your business. I was in an MLM I know exactly the pressure from the upline. If you work a WFH job in a corporate environment you’ll still be able to go to Target but need to be ready for any meetings or call 😅
"If you're poor, it's your fault...ppl are used to instant gratification. If we're hungry, we order Uber Eats-" Ohhhh I see! She doesn't actually know what it means to be poor
For real that girl has the same vibes of someone who doesn't realize you have to pay off a credit card. It's just free money right, why are people so poor??
I thought the same thing 😂 I can barely eat out occasionally let alone pay extra fees and tips for Uber eats 😂 and I’m not even as poor as my family was while I grew up.
I mean in the first one she isn't wrong... it will change your life. Debt, loss of friends, loss of time with kids, loss of battery life on your phone... 🤷🏻♀️
I live in a country where at least 20 days of paid vacation are mandatory for every job each year. Imagine that: Going on a vacation for three weeks, being completely offline, and still get a paycheck! *Without being in an MLM!* Outrageous...
Or, for example, that the most of us get even more vacation days, the longer we work for the same company, or the older we get. Oh yes, and let's not forget the boss babe mentioning "I can take time off when I am sick, and still get my paycheck"... Wow, really? I am flabberghasted! And for all this you just had to scam many, many people!
Imo the lacking social security and healthcare system is a big reason why mlms thrive in the states. Her bragging about aid vacation and being able to say home when her child or she herself is sick -that’s baffling and sad at the same time.
@@ida6950 That's a pretty good point! It's quite sad, that a bad, scammy social- and healthcare system leads to only more scams thriving in the US! It is like, whatever you do, as long as you're not born rich, you're doomed. 😞
Currently thinking about possibly becoming a midwife and I swear my jar DROPPED when she said a midwife recommended the happy drink to be used as prenatals. This women could single handedly cause so much harm and pain and life long disabilities that could have been prevented so easily.
It truly wouldn’t surprise me if some hun said “hey try this” in a meeting as a meeting as a purely strategic move. And it’s a straight lie from this girl.
I’m a nurse and I know so many of my coworkers who are in MLMs and it fucking blows my mind. We fucking know better. We’re literally trained to think critically. So awful
One of the biggest things that angers me as a small business owner who sells handmade products, is when I do events. I make all of my tarts and candles (I make soaps, bath bombs, and a lot more) but saying those two because the scentsy topic here. I always see these MLMs at events that are suppose to be showcasing small business owners and their products. My last show I was literally next to a scentsy person. Maybe it’s just me but It’s frustrating that these MLMs are taking business away from true handmade product businesses.
Frustrating yes, but your customers aren’t going to choose scentsy/MLM over handmade. Anyone going to a show that’s supposed to be showcasing handmade/natural products is looking for you, not the MLM pusher.
@@nd4539 I wish this were true but unfortunately many shows I do, the mlm is what gets the eyes and once they’ve bought form them they won’t give even a look at the handmade product tables. I’m just a small business and can’t afford the big fancy get ups that the MLMs get and it makes it difficult to grab the eyes. I’ve thought about doing samples somehow but I don’t know how I’d do that with what I have.
My wife used to sell Scentsy. She got out of it because of the way it was run. She started buying from a local business that sells candles and wax tarts and completely quit buying from any MLM. She said she doesn't understand why these companies can get away with what they do and aren't labeled as pyramid schemes. With Scentsy, you have to have several people under you to even show up on a website search.
@@OntarioBearHunter Anyone intent on being a vendor at these shows has to do some due diligence of their own before committing to a booth fee. Many places won't allow these types to have a space because they want to keep the integrity of an actual small business with handmade items but some are simply looking to fill the event and collect those booth fees, regardless of where they come from.
I was on Doterra for 3 or 4 years 😅 I earned zero dollars, I was loyal customer though 😂 you bet I was purchasing those stinky oils monthly, and I was spending between $175-230 monthly! I went to the Casino once! Like one time for 1 hour because I found it boring 🤭 my husband had been to the casino before meeting and had lost a lot of money so he told me $20 was my budget. I made $160 after purchasing us a drink, $10 each 😂😂 so all of this to say; I earned more money in an hour at a casino than 3-4 years at an MLM 😂
@Shamazya I been trying to remember how I got involved with the company to begin with lol the woman I signed up under was a lady in Utah, in her late 50's, she was under her daughter and all her family was in the business! Meanwhile I was a 25 year old new mom in Michigan! No one I know uses oils 🤭 like to this day! That was back in 2014, I've been trying to remember the beginning to tell my story!
Oh the double standards of these boss babes. They try to sell you on the “time freedom” going on vacations and still earning a “paycheque” but in the same breath yell at you for not working hard enough, not wanting the success enough. 🤦♀️
Yep. It's one of those things that's technically true but intentionally misleading (because most people are thinking less about villains in a story and more about well-worn cliches).
"If you are soft, and you are sensitive, scro---" I would never have lasted any longer than this. 😂😂 what she had to say was vile and the fact that she invited anyone who feels compassion and empathy to move along is VERY telling about what her motivation is
That lady in fail #3 has such a catastrophic failure of empathy…there are so many systemic factors that keep people in poverty. Her contempt for them just not “working hard enough” is so gross.
She is seriously out of touch! Many people in poverty work way harder than a 9 to 5 office job. Many work more than one, and it’s often the jobs no one works. That hun should see what the people who grow our produce go through and THEN tell us “poor people just don’t work hard enough.” Go try it for week. Let us know how that goes for you. Even most homeless people on the street are working hard. Many of them are on the move constantly, because they aren’t allowed to rest anywhere. Let her try walking all day carrying her possessions, with very little food, exposed to the elements, all day, every day.
So many people fail to understand the effect of generational poverty vs. situational poverty. It is not a simple matter of "making a choice not to be poor."
@@ginadonnoe1092true. But even situational poverty isn’t so cut and dry. Some people are addicts. Many not even their fault. They had surgery and were prescribed opiates then got addicted. She’s such a jerk.
This attitude is pervasive among some groups. I've overheard conversations among older adults groaning at the thought of student debt relief when they had gone to college at a time when the cost of higher ed wasn't nearly as high as it is now. I wish people would stop mistaking luck and privilege for moral superiority.
it always makes me so uncomfortable when reps get so angry in videos. like, i know it’s not directly targeted at me but it always triggers my fight or flight
That's actually a great thing because it means that you wouldn't be sucked in by this type of hun tactic. I feel the same, when they get all fired up, my nervous system says RUN.
It wouldn't be a good approach in me either because it makes me indignant 😂 I really wonder who convinced them it's a good tactic - like, overwhelmingly people are drawn in by positive energy, why do the opposite?
@@watsyourdestiny2086 she speaks the truth. My guess is though, that the percent of people that eat a nutrient rich enough diet is as small as the percent of huns in the top tier of any given mlm 😅
Yea she got in early with” it works”, and it still fizzled out and lost house . She knows how to play the MLM game. She knows how to hustle but takes advantage of people that don’t understand or are desperate for extra income.😑
Woof. I've spent the last year working on a master's studying metabolic bone disease (think scurvy, rickets, etc) and one of the easiest ways to end up with one as a child is if your mother has vitamin deficiencies, as she'll have nothing left over to give you during pregnancy and nursing. I'm horrified to imagine that, in a world where vitamin supplements would be widely available to them, these women would be actively choosing to replace them with snake oil.
I love Hannah especially for all the research. She doesn't just say "isn’t it wild that this person quit 2 jobs" She gets the estimates and does the math 🔥
What I never understand is why they angrily yell at us about how great their lives are. Like, you yelling at me is not going to make me want to join your company?? Let alone a scammy MLM Lol
Right? It's like, tell us you're insecure without telling us you're insecure. If you're confident and secure in the knowledge that it's your hard work and strong character that enabled you to achieve success, why the need to yell at others?
poor shaming is so annoying and disgusting because not only does it intentionally disregard the unfair systems in place and financial systems as a whole, but also treats finances as a reflection of morals. It’s not just about the money, but it’s somehow a reflection of poor character, bad morals, and a disgrace on our society. It’s so disgusting - these people have obviously never actually experienced poverty and it shows
I agree - it's a damn shame that good fortune and privilege are so often mistaken for moral superiority. There was an episode of the (thankfully defunct) TV show "My Super Sweet 16" in which a teen girl adopted from a poor neighborhood by a wealthy family turned on her old friends and denigrated the neighborhood she'd grown up in. The moment she joined a wealthy family, her attitude changed. She was better than "them" now. She didn't work hard to get to this point - she just got lucky. And so did all the MLM huns that got in early and were able to amass huge downlines. But it just goes to show that some people are so insecure that they need to put others down to feel better about themselves.
Exactly what I said while watching. I just took 8 working days off and still earned a paycheck and didn’t have to think about if I was going to get one
THIS though. She said that and I was like sooooo vacation time? I get 4 paid weeks off a year and I don’t even have to do the “posting bits here and there” she mentioned immediately after saying she completely unplugged lmao
I work for a payment platform that pays out the commission payments for ALOT of MLM's (at last count there were over 30 we served) Only one MLM of the "big 5" pays out weekly on Thursdays (that I am aware of) If I were to give a range, lowest being 25$, the highest I've seen is one elite who was getting around $800 weekly. I personally refer to these paydays as "Tantrum Thursdays", as we are usually the first call they make when they don't make the expected amount (lost a level, didn't make goals etc) Oh the stories I could tell!
Me: *puts on new video by Hannah* My boyfriend instantly: Oooo, is that the mlem lady!?? *walks over from gaming station and plops down next to me in couch* Mlem-mondays are my life now
I was down at Disney for Epcot’s flower and garden festival. There was some kind of scent garden walk through. It was nice until I realized I was smelling scentsy and not plants
Usually, the answer to 'why does this big company sponsor something bad?' would just be 'money'. But can you think of any company who has openly and consistently associated themselves with MLM's as much as Disney has? It's kinda weird.
In my experience many MLM representatives are so aggressive and tend to yell when they are being dramatic. I always try to tell my friends and families that host MLM parties that it's all a scam and you need friends with money to make money. Some of them listened but not all. I love this content and you gained a new subscriber.
It should. Go look it up in urban dictionary. I have no idea why they would choose that name. Its also a term pediatricians use for conscious sedation of anxious kids, which makes the midwifes supposed reccomendation especially wtf
My mom just joined Scentsy 🙃 I’ve been saying for years that she is an MLM’s dream . She got my daughter one thing from there and we had to take the scent pack out because it made us all nauseous 😂
I suspect she was lying about the "midwife" who said the drink she was selling could be taken instead of prenatal vitamins. She prob thought it would be a good way to increase her sales by claiming a midwife endorsed them.
Hilariously, when I heard the 'smellifants on parade ' name, I had an instant fear response because the pink elephants are about the most terrifying thing Disney has ever created and I guess I didn't leave that behind in childhood 😂
As someone who gets migraines from artificial fragrances, this smellephants thing sounds like a hellscape. Dumbo is already nightmare fuel (spooky circus imagery + animal abuse and traumatic separation of a mom and baby, why would they make this movie at all). Add in scentsy and scented elephants and it's just... why.
People need financial literacy not a MLM. Living paycheck to paycheck means your bills and your spending is out of control. So get some financial help - do not join a MLM. There are free financial literacy at Sparkpoint in many states in the US. Get free credit counseling. Never pay for personal financial support. Be well friends! Love your content Hannah!
If someone's trying to convince me they're able to retire at 34 because they're so financially well off they need to have much nicer nails than that mean girl 😂
I too go on vacation, don’t work, and still earn a paycheck. It’s full time, and I still get benefits. It’s called “paid time off.” And it’s from a (gasp) office job! Wonder if she’s so supportive of her DOWNLINE going on vacation and not working…
@@BloominFleury29Monsanto are basically criminals disguised as a business. Google Monsanto & roundup or Monsanto & terminator seeds. I feel like your gambling/crypto analogy was spot on. I also had the same experience the first and only time I ever went to a casino! I would have had more fun lighting my money on fire 😂
I think cryptos are even worse. With gambling, in the unlikely scenario where you get rich in chips, you are guaranteed to be able to exchange them at a counter for real money, at a rate which is probably the same as when you came in. I feel like if you get rich in a crypto (already not a guarantee), you can't go to a counter, you basically have to shout in the entryway "I'm sitting on a huge pile of chips, anyone going in who want to buy them at their current value?" if it is a trusted crypto, there are probably enough people coming in who will want to buy what you have to sell, but let's say you've been tricked by a reality TV star to buy in a really obscure one and they were basically the only thing attracting people in, and now no one really cares, so you're sitting in a hall on a pile of worthless chips. I guess you can try to promote your "casino" around in order to get more people to come in. You can even show them your big pile to impress them, see how rich you got here (theoretically).
The other day, I was at a small business networking event, and there was a Primerica rep there, and I was thinking "😮 There's one out here in the wild!"
It literally makes my stomach turn that someone who is suppose to help pregnant moms and their babies could recommend something so dangerous and lacking needed vitamins. 😢😢
The sponsoring for this Disney attraction targets exactly what MLMs want. At this place are the new mums with very little kids. A stay-at-home mum who possibly couldn't even work "normally" since their kids are still too small. But "perfectly" for a MLM income, to work at home.
Also the outrageous overspending most people do at Disney is perfect grounds for, “why not make a little extra money from home?” “Pay off the cc from this vacation” is a perfect justification. Very predatory based on how most people use debt for vacations 💜 they know what people are thinking and they’re advertising to that vulnerability for sure
Based on how Walt Disney started the company to begin with, them supporting MLMs doesn’t surprise me in the literal slightest 💀 I get people love Disney, but it’s so mf shady, one of the shadiest companies that’s ever really existed, and built on lies. So yeah, doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.
Interesting that mlm's tend to target moms and the Disney attraction just happens to be going in the most concentrated mom-area with the kids section....
My aunt was born in the 1950s with spina bifida due to my grandmother's lack of folic acid. Seeing that rep talking such crap made me want to scream!!! Thank you so much for calling that out!!! So very dangerous to babies everywhere! I also don't think that happy juice is good for her little girl either.
I’m sorry about your aunt. I hope she’s doing well despite her condition. Thankfully, they now fortify bread and cereal with folate, so it makes it easier to get what you need, even if you don’t know you’re pregnant. Prenatal vitamins are still important, though. Especially since morning sickness can make it hard to get what you need.
Sorry about your aunt. But sadly, spina bifida still happens now, even with excellent prenatal care and nutrition. But now, a baby can have surgery while still in the womb to lessen complications. ❤
At least Disney is putting them in the very back. I have health issues that can lead to severe breathing issues/allergic reactions to strong scents like candles, wax melts, etc just by walking through an area with strong artificial fragrances. The laundry aisle has become a game of how long can I hold my breath 😂
Also, the BIGGEST irony to me: Is how if you *actually* want to "be your own boss": Go purchase a "going out of sale" MLM thing. And just sell that. You get 100 % of the sales. You CAN set your own time and prices. No downline needed. You CAN actually do whatever you want with it, and be a side hustle. No penalty.
So excited to be this early to your video Hannah! You make the beginning of my weeks. In the past two weeks I have found out I'm pregnant and the morning sickness is hitting me hard all day! Remembering how your pregnancy went has been making me feel less alone in what I'm feeling now❤️ I appreciate you and the content you put out. Thank you for the new video!
Oh my goodness, congratulations! I promise promise promise it gets better! I started to feel better around 11 weeks and then pretty much back to “normal” around 15 weeks
Thank you so much Hannah! That's good to hear! I'm almost to 5 weeks and the end of the first trimester can't come soon enough😂 I'll check back in when I'm back to "normal" haha
I just started back on prenatals today as we are starting our IVF journey for baby number two. In addition to the prenatals I am on about three other supplements as we have infertility struggles. All of them came out too less than the happy juice and that was for a 3 month supply
Prenatals are also mainly for mom. Because baby will take from you whatever they need and what happens is. That mom becomes deficient in whatever you are not taking in, and can cause issues during pregnancy and delivery that puts you and baby at risk!
Your comparison of crypto to a casino trip is actually spot on, almost every crypto investment is a gamble with next to no chance of earning money despite the promises of sky high returns. There's actually a lot of similarities in how crypto is marketed (financial freedom, time freedom, retire by 30, etc), the main difference is it's mainly targeted at men vs mlms for women. I'd encourage you to look into it just for more content ideas (and also bc I'd love to hear your thoughts on it), maybe starting with Dan Olsen s Line Goes Up video.
I used to work for 🐭, but was totally clueless to the partnership between them and Scentsy until I witnessed a bunch of Scentsy’s unpaid salespeople walking in after park close. It was one of the things that made me realize just how massive MLMs can get in size, money, and power.
I posted on Reddit about how Scentsy sponsored something at the Flower and garden festival. I love Disney but dislike their constant partnerships with these MLMs. Ps. I was a wilderness explorer troop leader when I worked at Disney. One of my favorite jobs to this day!😄
I also get paid when I don't work....it's called....PAID TIME OFF! 😂 Funny thing is, I dont require a downline to get paid when I take days off. I also get paid the same the same whether I am working or taking PTO. Fascinating concept if you ask me! 😊
32:24 this discussion made me think about how it’s literally free to come to your channel and watch your videos. Free entertainment and fair takes. I’m so glad you’re getting paid 😭 like you really deserve it babes
Oh my gosh. I always tell people they should really consider getting a prescription for prenatals and getting them through a pharmacy, even if they're completely comfortable to afford buying them themselves, because unlike pretty much any supplement you buy in a store, the ones you get through the pharmacy are actually fda-regulated. They're tested and you can actually trust that they contain what the bottle says they contain. Taking some random MLM drinks that don't even CLAIM to have what you need, instead of a proper prenatal... I really hope this "midwife's" practice goes under before she hurts anybody 🙈
I recently had to hide one of my friends from my Facebook so that I wasn't CONSTANTLY seeing her unsubstantiated claims about Juice Plus. She makes the wildest health and income claims.
Bingeability is not a joke! I've been rewatching everything while packing for study abroad, and I fully intend to download a bunch for the 20 hours of flying to Korea. Hope you and baby and dad are doing well Hannah ❤
Yeah, and it sounds like a great idea to give your toddler caffeine. You’re supposed to limit your caffeine consumption during pregnancy, too. I think most providers would prefer that you limit your supplements, to what’s absolutely necessary like your prenatal vitamin and anything else prescribed by a legit provider (not an MLM shill), since supplements are unregulated. The good news is that most bread and cereals you buy off the grocery store shelf are fortified with iron and folate. And milk is fortified with vitamin D. However, that doesn’t help if you have bad morning sickness. I agree, though, report the woman and her midwife, if that wasn’t a lie.
@TheSailorDogMom Probably not and it doesn't actually matter if she did or not. The fact the rep is flaunting it as health advice is an issue either way. She's probably trying to take responsibility off of herself and have a scapegoat prepped in case anyone goes after her for these health claims.
THANK YOU! I have been saying for years “it’s not a level playing field.” The arrogance and short-sightedness of some people is so frustrating. So much of the time success is based on luck and circumstances outside of one’s control - not “working harder than everyone else.”
I remember scentsy had Disney characters scentsy reps would sell that you can buy the smell stuff to put in them. That was years ago too so Disney definitely is cool with more money even from an mlm
"I love the fact that I am 100% in control of it" 29:45. I'm thinking she's not, really - she can't completely control her downline if they all "slack off' or all of them decide to quit...lol
Hi Hannah, love the video as always, but I just wanted to point out something I noticed. In the 3rd fail, the EAconomy mlm the rep is a part of focuses on forex, which isn't cryptocurrency. Forex is short for foreign exchange. I don't know exactly how it works but from what I understand you exchange your currency for a foreign currency (yen, euros, etc) when there's a good exchange rate and then exchange it back to your original currency when the exchange rate increased. So if euros are currently "cheap" but you expect their value will go up soon, you "buy" euros with your American dollars, wait a bit, and if the euro increases in value then you "sell" your euros for American dollars and make a small profit. From what I understand this is a legitimate way to invest money and can make you returns, but it won’t do so very quickly unless you have a very large initial investment and really know what you're doing. It's a long-game kind of thing. And many scammers will pretend to know Forex really well and either take your money and pretend to invest in Forex or will offer worthless coaching.
It's unbelievable that having basic 'paid time off' is something to gloat about in the US. Employment laws in my country determine that most workers get a MINIMUM amount per annum, and companies are disincentivized for letting workers accrue too much owed leave.
It's not something to gloat about in the US either. Virtually every full-time job has PTO as part of their benefits, even if it isn't "required" by law. I have never come across a full-time job that doesn't have at least 2 weeks of PTO. Maybe not what you have elsewhere, but definitely not the flex that these huns make it seem. So many times when they talk about this, I think, lady, have you ever HAD a full-time job?! Part-time fast-food workers may not get PTO, but the ones working Full-time do. Edit: Most places have much more than 2 weeks PTO annually, but that's the barest minimum I remember for my retail job.
“She seems like she’s really fun at parties” 😂😂 did we just because best friends!? Oh my gosh- I laughed while on a call with a customer because I was thinking how fun she would be and rolled my eyes.
I thought it was strange...at the Epcot flower festival there was a display sponsored by Scentsy about the power of scent and now they have a permanent experience at Magic Kingdom...🤔 Makes me wonder who's so invested in Scentsy.
Thank you for explaining a bit about how you make money, makes me feel like I’m actually helping by watching old video’s of you. Honestly never occurred to me it’s helpful 😂
I absolutely love the people who are like, "It's your fault if you're poor because you have a bad mindset and you're lazy!" Miss ma'am, please spend a week with the debilitating health condition that I have (and I'm not special, chronically ill people are everywhere and we're one of the groups disproportionately affected by poverty) and tell me how many days you were able to get up and Hustle and Grind. Yeah, with my condition you can push through it for a couple days - until your body is literally incapable of holding itself up and you can't think a single coherent thought. Please enlighten me on how to Positive Mindset my way out of that one
What’s weird about Scentcy, is they had a booth at Epcot during the flower garden festival. It was a small tent where they were giving out seeds. So, I now have a random packet MLM pea seeds from Epcot. Lol (By the way, I’m a massive Epcot fan. I’m like an encyclopedia on its history. It holds a very special place in my heart. So it was very bazaar to come face to face with an MLM there.)
Also: I have a very very generous budget for my food and supplements, and I have spent a lot of money on powders and this and thats - $164 monthly for some non-specific average supplement is OUTRAGEOUS.
Same here. I take expensive supplements and my husband buys premium protein powders and complete nutritional supplements. We probably spend $100 per month and we actually get essential vitamins and minerals from ours, not just random fruit extracts. When I saw that ingredient list I could not handle it
I've been there with trying out the casino. My husband and I went for our 10th anniversary because I've never been before (he'd been once). We walked in with $40 cash and walked out 30 min later with $38. I feel like we won because we got the experience, realized it's not for us, and at least broke even (almost)
I'm not an AP, but I'm a former CM and still go every year. I totally forgot about the scentsy attraction until you mentioned it. Cutco was a sponsor of the Food and Wine Festival, so it's not surprising. I remembered being shocked when I first saw them.
I hate the Disney thing so much - we have allergies in the family and are heading to Disney this fall. I’m hoping the whole outside doesn’t stink 😢 we even picked our resort with our travel agent to be the least “smelly” resort haha
I legit was ready to do some Magic Kingdom recon and report back! Ha! I’m in Florida also and have annual passes for my son and I. We love Disney, but it’s a little disheartening to see that they teamed up with an MLM.
A friend of mine shared a post on Facebook for her friend, which advertised a firming cream with apparent magical results. There was no mention of the product, the brand, link to website, etc. I did a little digging and it turned out to be a AUD $70 Nu Skin product. The least they could do is be transparent and tell people what the product is so they can research themselves instead of baiting people in. It’s one of the many tactics they use that pisses me off. Thank you Hannah for all you do to educate people!
Okay normally I wouldn't call someone out for this, but the lady in fail #3 SUPER needs a fill in on her acrylics, which might just mean she filmed this soon before getting one, but could also be a sign that she's making less money than she wants people to think. Like, you're "retiring" at 34 but you can't afford to get your nails done? Hmm.....
I was very poor hoeing up and lived in social housing. But it was great housing I got a good education and was encouraged to achieve. I had 15 brutal years of studying and working full time, bringing up my son. I am now retired, having been a nurse and teacher. Yes, I worked dumb hard- but I had so much good fortune that enabled this. Makes me sick blaming hard working people for their low wages
I have a neutral tube defect, and so does my dad. I was on an insane level of folic acid while pregnant so I could save my kids from these issues. I can't imagine if I had a shit midwife telling me these lies! It could have cost my kids their mobility!

The program wouldn’t take my card. It wasn’t declined, there just was an error. Oh well, next time

Exactly as I said in the comments to the other video by the woman who said the Scentsy-Disney partnership is “GROSS”… here’s my response verbatim:
However… 1) you make it sound like the scents are so strong that they are bombarding and overwhelming, blasting out like cannons everywhere… 2) people that know they have scent allergies or conditions that have symptoms which can be triggered by smells should already be prepared for this going into a public situation where they know that they may be exposed to smells even just from other people’s personal scented products (shampoo, conditioner, perfume, cologne, hairspray, hair gel, body spray, deodorant, clothing detergents and softeners, even some cosmetics, lotions and moisturizers, etc. 3) The scented attractions are contained, not overly exposed.
4) Re: Disney-Scentsy Smellaphant attraction
- [ ] I believe that people dissing this whole thing Owe the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) community an apology for the ignoring/denying the validity of the sensory experience by dismissing the Smellalphants attraction as way to enjoy vacation time with their family at Disney (We deserve to live in this world too, not just stay cooped up at home all the time just because some people disregard us as valuable to the community in general-regardless of our individual circumstances and challenges)
- [ ] Valid sensory experience for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other conditions and/or disorders, especially those whom are not able to safely participate in more vigorous activities or go on rides that may jostle, bump, jerk, change directions quickly, change speeds suddenly, and/or otherwise cause/trigger an attack of epilepsy and/or migraine.
- (I am a migraineur and a lot of smells trigger a migraine attack on me, so for myself I know that I have to be careful to wear my allergens filter mask and avoid most scents, but it doesn’t mean that I won’t support my other friends whom also have ASD that CAN safely enjoy engaging in such activities and attractions).-
- [ ] Importance of self-paced activities of which an individual may/can voluntarily cease at any time they choose
- [ ] Quiet/peaceful area of park (as particularly mentioned in the vlog) key to safety and wellbeing
“I own my own time” which is why I am in my car in a Target parking lot, screaming on TikTok in a about my MLM scam 😅 like- girl get it together.
But she has the time to go to Target because of all the extra time she has with this business opportunity!!
/s, just in case
@@rditty11there’s a huge difference between being able to go to Target and enjoy your shopping there and going to Target but still feeling the urge or having the need to promote your business. I was in an MLM I know exactly the pressure from the upline. If you work a WFH job in a corporate environment you’ll still be able to go to Target but need to be ready for any meetings or call 😅
Right? I'm a self employed copywriter and I lold hard at her.... 😂😂😂 She does NOT.
I’m not even sure if Target is visible in the video, but we all know that is exactly where she is at 😂
And the way she says it’ll change your life. Well, yes it will but definitely not for the better!
"If you're poor, it's your fault...ppl are used to instant gratification. If we're hungry, we order Uber Eats-"
Ohhhh I see! She doesn't actually know what it means to be poor
I never liked a comment SO HARD
For real that girl has the same vibes of someone who doesn't realize you have to pay off a credit card. It's just free money right, why are people so poor??
@@GlassShark86 same vibes. She also gives me "no one wants to work anymore" vibes
I thought the same thing 😂 I can barely eat out occasionally let alone pay extra fees and tips for Uber eats 😂 and I’m not even as poor as my family was while I grew up.
it’s just DRIPPING with privilege haha
So instead of living paycheck to paycheck she decided on no paycheck. Wild.
I love when they slip up and leave enough info for Hannah to do the math on this bs 🤦😂
😂😂😂😂
I mean in the first one she isn't wrong... it will change your life.
Debt, loss of friends, loss of time with kids, loss of battery life on your phone... 🤷🏻♀️
What if we woke up and realized all of America was an MLM…would it be too late?
I was going to say the same thing LOL. She didn’t exactly say it would change for The better 😂
Worked on a MLM until a few months ago. I can confirm the battery part 😂
I live in a country where at least 20 days of paid vacation are mandatory for every job each year. Imagine that: Going on a vacation for three weeks, being completely offline, and still get a paycheck!
*Without being in an MLM!*
Outrageous...
I'm currentely on 3 weeks vacations, without even spending all mt vacation days (I work in Belgium), 😊
Don't tell them about purchased leave!
I wish someone will report her and get her certification revoked
@@annas5752 “A midwife said you can drink this instead of taking prenatal!”
Source: Trust me, bro.
So awful
I don’t believe a midwife ever told her that. Just another manipulation.
The event organizer should be curating the content but sounds like " pay your money get a table " type
As hard as this is to believe….it is sooo true!! Wake up people!!
You actually have a better chance at making more money at a casino than in an MLM. I don't make the statistics, I just share them 🤣🤣
@@MrsMuffin11 the truth hurts right? Lol
Honestly if you think you can expand on this I think it'd be a good MLM Horror story.
Yep!!
So true! 😂
"I promise it will change your life" actually isn't a lie because ruining your life is a change 😂😂
Yep. It's one of those things that's technically true but intentionally misleading (because most people are thinking less about villains in a story and more about well-worn cliches).
Didn't specify positive or negative change, lol
"If you are soft, and you are sensitive, scro---" I would never have lasted any longer than this. 😂😂 what she had to say was vile and the fact that she invited anyone who feels compassion and empathy to move along is VERY telling about what her motivation is
Anyone who says that are usually full of shit, anyways.
So true!! “Have these admirable and valuable traits?? Keep going, I’m not talking to you” girl, what?!
She’s such a jerk.
so tone deaf, that she silences sound
This attitude is pervasive among some groups. I've overheard conversations among older adults groaning at the thought of student debt relief when they had gone to college at a time when the cost of higher ed wasn't nearly as high as it is now.
I wish people would stop mistaking luck and privilege for moral superiority.
The woman who's like "I got a paycheck on vacation!" girl me too have you heard of PTO lmao
it always makes me so uncomfortable when reps get so angry in videos. like, i know it’s not directly targeted at me but it always triggers my fight or flight
That's actually a great thing because it means that you wouldn't be sucked in by this type of hun tactic. I feel the same, when they get all fired up, my nervous system says RUN.
Me too, from being bullied by ex-upline.
It wouldn't be a good approach in me either because it makes me indignant 😂
I really wonder who convinced them it's a good tactic - like, overwhelmingly people are drawn in by positive energy, why do the opposite?
The angry crypto MLMer smacks of desperation and self-hatred.
Really, can yelling be incentive.
The way i just GASPED when she said you don't need a prenatal
I think that advice should come from one's doctor or a CNM, not from a salesperson.
I yelled. Literally, I couldn't handle it o.o
today I learned I need prenatal LOL I really know nothing about pregnancy
@@yvonnasunyou don’t, you just need a nutrient-rich diet. If you don’t have that then you’d need one to cover the areas your diet does not.

I went to school with the first girl. She was in itworks for YEARS and got in early so she was high up. That's where her income came from!
Tea is spilled! Thank you!
Yea she got in early with” it works”, and it still fizzled out and lost house .
She knows how to play the MLM game. She knows how to hustle but takes advantage of people that don’t understand or are desperate for extra income.😑
It's like MLM's are the tupperware, avon and partylite of our time.
She's still working two jobs... they're just MLMs now.
And no job security, no commuter benefits, no health plan, I rather clock in 40 hrs a week than do all that on my own. She's working 24/7 😭

I love Hannah especially for all the research. She doesn't just say "isn’t it wild that this person quit 2 jobs"
She gets the estimates and does the math 🔥
It’s so disgusting - these people have obviously never actually experienced poverty and it shows
I'm surprised that woman isn't a scentsy hun since she reeks of privilege
TF #4: "Every single week that I was gone, I earned a paycheck.".... Ya, regular jobs do that too, babe, and you don't even have to scam anyone
Exactly what I said while watching. I just took 8 working days off and still earned a paycheck and didn’t have to think about if I was going to get one
Yep, exactly. I'm actually earning my full paycheck right now, on my vacation from my 9-5 watching RUclips videos 😂
That was my thought-paid vacation leave is a real thing. 😂😂
I wish you would tell us more!!!
A story! A story! A story!
Write it up and send it in!!!
please tell them!
Which ones are the "big 5"? (I'm new to the anti-MLM world)

I bet Hannah would have 10k more subscribers if all the significant others who’ve been sucked in went on their own RUclips accounts and watched 😅
This made me feel really single 😅
I love when you post any pregnancy related anti-MLM content, because I swear it draws the most unhinged, delusional commenters. 😂
I was tired of living paycheck to paycheck so i joined an mlm! Now i don't have a paycheck. 😬🙄
I was down at Disney for Epcot’s flower and garden festival. There was some kind of scent garden walk through. It was nice until I realized I was smelling scentsy and not plants
Yes! I was disappointed about that, too. They’ll obviously take money from anyone.
So, I guess the report of this being a remote part of the park that no one would ever know about isn’t the case.
Ew, gross.
Usually, the answer to 'why does this big company sponsor something bad?' would just be 'money'. But can you think of any company who has openly and consistently associated themselves with MLM's as much as Disney has? It's kinda weird.
does the state of Utah count as a company? :)
Disney is also a scam, so of course they associate with similar companies 😂
In my experience many MLM representatives are so aggressive and tend to yell when they are being dramatic. I always try to tell my friends and families that host MLM parties that it's all a scam and you need friends with money to make money. Some of them listened but not all. I love this content and you gained a new subscriber.
the term "happy juice" evokes a visceral reaction in me
I wasted a lot of money signing up with scentsy. Lesson learned.
I suspect she was lying about the "midwife" who said the drink she was selling could be taken instead of prenatal vitamins. She prob thought it would be a good way to increase her sales by claiming a midwife endorsed them.
Midwife isn't a doctor tho
Hilariously, when I heard the 'smellifants on parade ' name, I had an instant fear response because the pink elephants are about the most terrifying thing Disney has ever created and I guess I didn't leave that behind in childhood 😂
"Look out, look out, pink elephants on paraaaaaaade" 😱😱😱🐘
You're right abt that horror, and I think that's why I love surrealist horror now. Thank you for bringing that to light in my brain lmao
I too go on vacation, don’t work, and still earn a paycheck. It’s full time, and I still get benefits.
It’s called “paid time off.” And it’s from a (gasp) office job!

Never forget, Disney has partnered with Monsanto and Chevron. They have no scruples about what their sponsors do and represent.
I’m out of the loop can you explain
@@BloominFleury29Monsanto are basically criminals disguised as a business. Google Monsanto & roundup or Monsanto & terminator seeds. If farmers refuse to use their seeds the send out enforcers to the farm to have a “discussion” with the farmer. If the neighboring farm is using Monsanto seeds & the wind blows them into the next farm they will sue that farmer for using the seeds. It’s a horrible company. They have killed so many people.
Boycott Disney.
Even so, they've got more scruples and better values than Ron DeSantis, and I'll stand by Disney against DeSantis any day of the week.
I feel like your gambling/crypto analogy was spot on. I also had the same experience the first and only time I ever went to a casino! I would have had more fun lighting my money on fire 😂
I played $20 when I used to go. I do not have fun. When the $20 is gone, I just watch my husband play.
My husband was a licensed broker for an online brokerage- and yes it is exactly the same as gambling.
"She seems like she's *super* fun at parties" 😂 I just love you, Hannah!!
The sponsoring for this Disney attraction targets exactly what MLMs want. At this place are the new mums with very little kids. A stay-at-home mum who possibly couldn't even work "normally" since their kids are still too small. But "perfectly" for a MLM income, to work at home.
Not to mention, Orlando seems to be a MLM hub. I was shocked when I moved here and saw the Amway Arena.
That finally explains the Disney scents to me, lol...wow!
It's Florida Disney what do you expect
The second I heard "Caffeine" I thought
"Why is that being given to a toddler??" 🙄
Sorry about your aunt. But sadly, spina bifida still happens now, even with excellent prenatal care and nutrition. But now, a baby can have surgery while still in the womb to lessen complications. ❤
"I don't have to ask anyone to go on a 3 week vacation" yeah because you're not an employee and no one pays you (literally) 😂
At least Disney is putting them in the very back. I have health issues that can lead to severe breathing issues/allergic reactions to strong scents like candles, wax melts, etc just by walking through an area with strong artificial fragrances. The laundry aisle has become a game of how long can I hold my breath 😂
I thought the same thing.
Must be bad going outdoors especially where there are flowers, trees, grass, etc.
I don't expect to learn the piano in a weekend. But I do expect to get paid when I start a job.
No penalty.

Pregnancy can throw your system into chaos. I had three and two were symptom free and the last had every symptom in the book.

Coffeezilla also does a great job of outing crypto scammers. It's so sad how many scams are flourishing out there

How is Disney even allowing MLM's on their properties? It sounds like a major liability to me...

its a big corporation, they only care about the money they're being paid. thats how capitalism works lol
when you have as much money as disney, you can probably sweep lawsuits under the rug and deal with them w/ settlements
Money draining business joined forces shocker
and an event where you have to smell things with your nose....during a pandemic.........this is a mess
I also have a friend who sells JuicePlus and promotes it all the time on Facebook. I had to unfriend her.
Bingeability is not a joke! I've been rewatching everything while packing for study abroad, and I fully intend to download a bunch for the 20 hours of flying to Korea.
Hope you and baby and dad are doing well Hannah ❤
When I first found her, I was hooked and binged all of the videos.
Hannah please report the woman who stated her mid-wife recommended she take "happy juice" in place of prenatal vitamins. That is not cool.
Who knows if the midwife actually said this...
@TheSailorDogMom Probably not and it doesn't actually matter if she did or not. The fact the rep is flaunting it as health advice is an issue either way. She's probably trying to take responsibility off of herself and have a scapegoat prepped in case anyone goes after her for these health claims.
She said it'll change your life! She didn't say it'd get better!!😂😂😂😂
Omg. "I love that I can be in control of it". Unless all the people below you stop working, that is.
THANK YOU! I have been saying for years “it’s not a level playing field.” The arrogance and short-sightedness of some people is so frustrating. So much of the time success is based on luck and circumstances outside of one’s control - not “working harder than everyone else.”
Yeah I remember going to the Epcot food and wine festival a couple of years ago and it was sponsored by scentsy
I remember scentsy had Disney characters scentsy reps would sell that you can buy the smell stuff to put in them. That was years ago too so Disney definitely is cool with more money even from an mlm
Being poor is not a choice. Nobody chooses to be poor on purpose.
Doing foreign exchange arbitrage investing is a full time job for a team of people and often only done for large business clients.
Also it is often abriviated as FX
@@Kayla_P99 Thanks for the additional info!
My favorite “chill out & be distracted” channel. Very pleasant to see a new one today! Thanks Hannah.
“She seems like she’s really fun at parties” 😂😂 did we just because best friends!? Oh my gosh- I laughed while on a call with a customer because I was thinking how fun she would be and rolled my eyes.
I thought the same! 🤣
The woman who lasted 3 days in story 3 probably joined thinking it was a legitimate trading platform, then left when they realised it was an MLM!
Loool, you can tell the eaconomy rep lost her one recruit 😂😩 she was big mad, coming for the rest of us likeee😂😂 girl it’s not our fault😂😂
I thought it was strange...at the Epcot flower festival there was a display sponsored by Scentsy about the power of scent and now they have a permanent experience at Magic Kingdom...🤔 Makes me wonder who's so invested in Scentsy.
It's Florida Disney what do you expect
I was listening to this as a podcast, and I 100% thought that the Disney attraction was called "Smell Offense on Parade" 💀
Thank you. I grew up with that kind of thinking, and its a common rant of mine how much one has to willfully not notice in order to maintain it.
That New Thought crap is everywhere. It does nothing but hurt people.
Love your honesty, especially when you talked about the time you took a break and how it affected your income
Just starting laundry and you upload five minutes earlier?? What a gift!😊
I was reading a Reddit thread this afternoon about people who'd made terrible financial decisions. MLMs came up quite a bit.
Never knew I needed anti mlm content until I found your channel 😆 love it!
I was just messaged by a hun and/or scammer and thought of you 😂 now here you are with a new video just in time 💜
