remember guys theres x3 speed and god mode where u get unlimited limit breaks on ps4 and alot of the newer ports i timed it doing this method u will hit lvl 99 and have 99mil gil before u even reach the crator try it out if you dont believe me
I remember playing this game as a kid. I only ever sold one or two all materia, and I was set for the rest of the game, even for the chocobo grind buying all their food. Why on earth would you take the time to grind for that much gill.
Nah fuck this. Northern crater is the way to go. Just w-item duplicate elexirs and give em to the pots before killing them. 1000-2000ap just for that. Way way waaaaaaay faster.
Searchmeister Well it does since you get 16000 xp for killing them. Don't think there is another enemy in the game that gives you that much except bosses of course. Edit: Took me under an hour to level up enough All materia to get 99,999,999 gil and just an extra hour to level up to 99. It is the fastest way to do both.
Iceray not to mention cloud and cid have weapons that triple the ap for materia making the 2000 you get from two magic pots to 6000 plus if you have the Gil material you double the Gil you get from the fight taking it from 17000 to 34000
by the time u reach nothern crater especially since they have a x3 multiplier u would already b done this method this is THE EARLIEST METHOD and the X3 speed makes this even easier and quicker to obtain
it's way quicker levelling up Slash-All materia to get Flash, then using it against the pots and red orbs in the North Crater to kill them instantly for the most AP (you'll need to use the W-Item trick for Elixirs). combine this with having All materias in double or triple weapons and you'll rack up the AP in no time then sell all your master Alls for 1.4 million gil at a time.
You can get to this spot on Mideel before you lose Aeris on disc one. Use the broken plane to get here. At this time you will only have one all material, but that’s all you’ll need. Make sure to steal also so you get elixir and x- potion. When you get your all materia to spawn., go sell for 1 million Gil. You won’t need Gil for the rest of the game.
Actually this is decent if you don't want to go to the northern crater however the sunken ship enemies give about 200-300 ap each also within the crater there's a specific area with a lot of water etc where you can farm AP and GIL like crazy if you farm up a lot of elixirs and give them to magic pots they drop 1000AP and theres these little orange bouncy dudes called movers that give you 2400AP each battle there that combined with the Apocalypse triple AP weapon for Cloud and the Scimitar triple AP weapon for Cid you're looking at around 10,000AP per battle but the encounter rate is a bit low on the movers grabbing a ton of Elixirs for the Magic pots and you're looking at 3,000-6,000AP per battle with those guys.
yes but a 9999 damage attack can STILL kill you with those cheats so when I used KoTR against Emerald weapon I made sure Air Tam Storm does NOT do 9999 to the entire party
this is the earliest method and with them introducing x3 speed on ps4 using that will easily get u mad mastered materia and most liekly lvl 99 before you even hit the crater
Oh man, you should've just gone a little closer to the town, you can get 300 ap sometimes, and I'm sure you had double growth (not sure if term is same, I play in Japanese) weapons so you earn 2x as much per battle. The All materia is really easy to master, I'm really glad they sell for so much though lol (and the trophy was nice, if it had one more digit it would suck so much, 10x as much time lol) The bromance trophy is kind of annoying me, I like to get trophies without looking at guides, like I knew about this all materia method from the 90's from just trying things out myself back then, easy to figure out. I remember getting Barret back then too on that gold saucer date, but now slightly messed up ... annoying trophy for me because you have to restart over if you miss it lol I really think ff7 should have more trophies though x_x
I was doing it by using the W-item glitch to get 99 Reagan greens that sell for 2500 each, sell like 90 at a time and that's 22500 Gil. Waaaay more time consuming than ur method here lol cheers

In no way should it take someone 10 hours to reach the Crater from Mideel. Even if it did, how much faster you gain AP through Magic Pots and Movers would more than make up for it. You’re acting like if someone stops and does this for five hours and then moves on it will somehow be faster overall than a method that takes a fraction of the time. If it takes 10 hours to get there, it will take 10 hours regardless of which method they use. The only thing that changes is how much time you spend grinding Gil.
@@yungbzfriedgaming3686 he does have a point though. You have to get to them end of the game for the other trophies anyway so you might as well wait on the all 9s achievement. However the location you mentioned IS useful if your grinding for chocobo races and need the greens. Mentioning the triple and double growth weapons and armor would have also been useful to viewers though. Maybe mention that in the comments?

You could have gold back in the 90's haha action replay killler codes you don't have to grind do anything have anything you what even aerith alive with good stats kill anybody wierd codes it was fun but a played the game twice without cheats like it should be but sometimes you do't have time for that then it is ok I think. And it was fun to create cheats with action replay find codes like shoot chewbacka out of you gun in empire strikes back on snes with han solo haha jump in and out of games and create you own codes but many codes it was miss does days sometimes.

dosent take 5hrs there is a speed bonus now it can be done in under 2 wich will be easily obtained before even going to that farm spot
