also the recordings of venom were played in an earpiece tom hardy wore so he could literally act with himself in the dual roles.
“Have a nice life” is what Carlton Drake said to Eddie when he had him escorted out of the building and it’s what Eddie’s boss said to him when firing him. Hinting act the fact Carlton Drake wanted him to get fired. Venom said it back to him at the end as a way to get back at him when blowing up the rocket. Looking forward to future videos as always!
Tom Hardy's performance is a 9.5 in this movie... that scream when he's in the bathroom and sees Venom for the first time... LMAO, gets me every time.

Venom can still get upgrades if he binds with SpiderMan. He doesn't stick to walls he digs his hands into walls etc.
tendrils and claws rather than sticky fingers and webs. didn't bother me because he pretty much moves like Venom in the Ultimate Spider-Man game, but damn it would be cool to see him achieve the white spider after bonding with Peter for a bit.

His run made it that the symbol is an incomplete Dragon symbol, and is on the armour worn by Knull the symbiote god

Jenn not knowing who Tom Hardy is can be a head scratcher. She has to see Inception, Warrior, and the Dark Knight trilogy. Tom Hardy also made his debut in a little mini series called Band of Brothers.

The revenant was also fantastic
A lot of great movies and shows listed, but he was also in Black Hawk Down as well. Plus a British Mini-Series which Netflix had for a while but took it down called The Take.
It's already so genius that Andy Serkis is directing Let There Be Carnage. Because with him being a legend in motion capture performance arts and experienced with characters of duel personality, he's gonna ace the already dope dynamic of Eddie/Venom and NOW Cletus/Carnage

I remember first seeing venom when i was a kid on the old 90’s animated Spiderman show and he immediately became one of my favorites.
Cant wait for the the amazing Spider-Man 2 reaction really wanna see her reaction to the clock tower scene... probably one of my favorite scenes in a Spider-Man movie and Andrew Garfield’s performance was just stellar. Wish he got better writing because he was 1000% my favorite actor to play the role.

Did you see the deleted scene of Amazing Spider-Man 2 with his dad at the graveyard? His performance was so steller in that one scene alone wish they kept it in the movie.
@@throwacnt7603 unfortunately that will not happen. Andrew was the sony's spiderman until it was rebooted and tom holland became the new spiderman. Spiderman only exists in the MCU because of the deal made between sony and disney. Disney doesn't own spiderman rights. And the venom of this sony universe might get integrated into the MCU if they decide to do so. They wont use Andrew as spiderman again.

I have seen in the trailers for Venom 2 and Morbius a bunch of references to Tobey Mcguire's Spiderman, and they're going to want to integrate Tom Holland's Spiderman with that universe (so he can go back and forth, that's what Kevin Feige said in interviews). If Im writing Spiderman 3, Im going to need a reason for Tom Holland to actually WANT to go back and forth; I feel like the only reason he would is if Tobey Macguire's Spiderman dies in Tom Holland's universe so he has to protect both now. Just a guess, but it makes sense given the studio motives.

I really love this series. When watching movies with Matt, it was always interesting to see how Matt would interpret things. Having said that, Jen, clearly has an easier time, separating herself/the characters from, "the real world," allowing her to more fully enjoy the movies.

The Sony and Marvel debate is basically like a divorce parents and their custody with their children. X parent has certain rights with the children as well as Y parent.
I also just noticed how Riot referred to himself as “I” while Venom refers to himself as “We” or “Us”
@Parvis Eh, it's iffy for me. Maybe their films turn out mostly good, but Sony executives have shown they can't resist meddling with their filmmakers. This caused Raimi to leave and ended the Amazing franchise at two films. But at Disney's end, they need to improve their animated series. As for the time being, I hope their deal doesn't end. Tom Holland is fine in the role and I don't feel like another reboot.
@Parvis I just looked that up and considering the source is WeGotThisCovered, I don't believe it. Even then, while you're right that both companies have executives making dumb decisions, the guys at Marvel Studios tend to not be as meddling with theirs.
In my opinion, Venom is their worst one with TASM 2 as a close second and as disappointing as those movies you mentioned turned out to be, they're still better than Venom.
They're not all great. But none have exactly been unwatchable.

The scene with the field trip group was originally going to be a random class of teenagers and Tom Holland’s Peter Parker would’ve walked by the camera as Carlton Drake leaves to go the interview with Eddie. But Disney/Marvel said no and they had to change it last minute.

I like Tom Hardy but at the same time his character choice in the roles he is in can have weird dialogue. The disconnection from the Spiderman universe is my biggest complaint however this interpretation is very good.
Likely No Way Home will fix the disconnect and bring the Venom films into the MCU somehow. Anything is possible in regards to the multiverse.
@@alucard624 Sony will probably follow a Spiderverse continuity which will be separate from the MCU. They have to keep telling stories to hold on to the property of Spiderman. It will be disconnected enough to satisfy the contract but connected enough to share in the success of the MCU

Upgrade is an amazing movie.
The CG in this movie is very rough , but it's fun.
Sony's interpretation I still have lore issues with, and many minor things, but overall I take it since it will bring more people into the Symbiote-verse
Upgrade should be something you two watch especially after the venom movies. Upgrade is basically this movie with discount Tom Hardy and a bit of a better story but both stand on their own regardless of similarities.

I know SM3 gets flank but for the most part its adaptation of Eddie Brock is accurate for the most part.
They combined the photographer rival and Ultimate skinny Jr versions together who gets the symbiote in a church after Peter gets rid of it thus gaining his abilites and never says WE or refers to himself as Venom or has the long tongue like in his first official apppearce in the comics that Raimi specifically based it on. Not to mention the Drug angle with the suit that they added. SM3 interpretation was pretty accurate for the most part depending on how you look at it.
Yeah. I know that version wasn't everyone's favorite, but it was true to the character in some ways. Really, both movie versions have something the other lacks.

Holden I definitely feel what you feel about this movie regarding the lack of Spider-Man, a fact I still can't get over. This movie has it's moments, but it's like a Milky Way. It's pretty good, but there's definitely something missing that would make it great

The best Stan Lee cameo was in captain marvel where he was on the bus reading the script for Mall Rats which he played himself in.

I agree Holden. There are pros and cons to the Venom character in Spiderman 3 and the movie Venom. I haven't gotten fully on board with either. However, the best Venom origin story is from the Spiderman Animated series that ran from '94-'97. Episodes 8, 9 & 10 entitled "The Alien Costume". Much more true to the comics than any movie that has Venom in it. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. It's on Disney+.
Venom has always been one of my favorite Marvel characters. I still have an old Symbiote Spiderman action figure from like 20ish years ago hanging up on display.
