Excellent...I have noticed one thing from what the nutritionist says. I was having cervical spondylosis and lumbar disc herniation before. I was so depressed about this. I went to many hospitals, chiropractors , massage and acupuncture parlours etc.at night I can feel vibration and heat in my legs sciatica. When walking I feel my nerves in my legs vibrating..I was so divastated but guess what, I finally conditioned my mind that I need to get healed so I have a change of lifestyle.
    1. Sleeping early
    2. Sitting upright on good office chair
    3. Doing yoga every morning
    4. Drinking tons of water
    5. Changed my diet
    6. Adding food supplements
    7. Taking supergreen foods
    8. More extra olive oil
    9. Omega 3
Etc. Support with prayers to powers that made you. I'm healed miraculously

I loved the podcast. I have slept twice for more tn 6 hours in the past 8 years. I am running on no more tn 4 hours of sleep. Sometimes without any sleep. But yes, I totally agree with everything you say guys. I was running multiple companies and having 3 kids, being a single mom....But I made a promise to myself to change my sleeping " habits". However I do want to say.... I can run and do everything on 3 hours of sleep, mindset is everything.... I've been with people that are not able to function unless they have had 7-8 hours of sleep or become grumpy, I dont have that. Once you have responsibilities and commitments, tour body is incapable of so much. We are much stronger tn we think. I do love sleep, so I'll let you know how I progress in the future. Once again, great talk!!!

      Hi.
Search what happened to Glenn Beck because of extended sleep deprivation.
He almost died, in horrible pains and he did't recover fully. Took him few years to be DIAGNOSED and he went to the best doctors in US. He has a podcast about this issue.
THIS IS NO JOKE. SLEEP OR YOU DIE IN PAIN.

    • @belove751
      @belove751 2 года назад

I completely agree with this statement-literally just talked to my coworker about this yesterday. The people who say they can’t function on less than 7-8 hours will have their day ruined if they can’t get that much sleep. As a single mom and business woman myself there are nights the kids get sick or I have to be up early that I won’t get that sleep. I have to be able to roll with it and not be upset bc I didn’t get enough sleep. Like you said comes down to mindset.
We can still strive to get enough sleep most nights but know that we are still completely capable of functioning on less if need be

@@Grind2Excellence okay, since you took the "it's been said" as hard scientific proof, let's get into it.
If that's true, I could sleep four hours from 8pm to midnight or 6 hours from 10pm to 4am, and it would equate to 8 hours from midnight to 8am. You see how that's obviously horse manure? Is there something magical that happens at the clock striking midnight where the body goes "shucks, now sleep isn't as effective"?
No, obviously not. Circadian rhythms and your body's internal clock (hormones n' shiet) are the most important factors in getting quality sleep. You could basically sleep during the day and function perfectly fine if you completely darkened your bedroom. Going to bed at roughly the same time is important to not mess up the internal clock too much

I actually eat the same rype of salads made of a mix of stomach, romaine, or make up whatever; then ,I shred left over chicken or shrimps (not a lot!), throw in anything else, like diced tomatoes not from those cans) and onions and peanuts or cashews. No dressing but lemon juice. You want just salt, or maybe skip it! Healthy and completely balanced food.

Sleep plays an important role in your physical health. For example, sleep is involved in healing and repair of your heart and blood vessels. Ongoing sleep deficiency is linked to an increased risk of heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and stroke.👍

Paula Guion Mm start asking yourself HOW you can help them to sleep better and see what ides come to mind !! Maybe a warm to cool shower before they go to sleep Etc see what ideas you get !! Shower before bed is great it's more trouble but it's so worth it !! Even if you do a sponge bath and make sure you wash their feet that will help them to sleep and you will benefit !! Maybe make a spray bottle of eucalyptus and or lavender oil in water and spray their bedroom etc Good luck 🙏🏽🕉

As a caregiver who took care of my Dad for 6 years I must tell you that you need at least parttime help or you will become ill yourself. Senioer centers sometime have volunteers that will visit . No one knows what it is like but you need some type of support. You can contact me at mariacullati@yahoo.com. I had my Dads elderly cousin who called me twice a month to say "hi" and those calls were a lifeline.

Lucky for the ones that have “normal hours of work “ I arrived home at 11:30 pm as I work evenings by the time I have a shower, dry my hair, apply moisturiser on my skin etc etc and have a hot drink, is almost 1:00 am I get to sleep close to 1:30 or 2 am, it’s impossible for me to have an early bedtime.☹️☹️🛌

I’m going to suggest to the Katy Isd football organization watch some of these School of greatness videos! - more stuff for young athletes would be great 👍 thanks Lewis

I find the opposite to be true regarding timing sleep. I have had horrible insomnia for years and kept going to bed earlier and earlier desperate for sleep. My mother mentioned that she now stays up until 12:30 - 1:00 a.m. and sleeps better than she has in eons. For the heck of it, I forced myself to stay up until at least 11:30 p.m. and OMG GAME CHANGER! I now go to sleep and stay asleep all night! No more sleep for 5 mintues/up for 60 minutes/sleep for 5 minutes/up for 60 minutes. I cannot believe the improvement in my sleep by staying up later.

Don't take supplements. Focus on sleep, diet and exercise. The trinity in that order of importance. Do all three and you won't need anything else.
