Retail parts costs for the parts donated by Lamborghini to my project was ~$35k, headlights, complete dash, and steering wheel. Which is crazy, given I am only in $30k for the rest of the car!🤣
Nice informative video, I know you mentioned you had Motul instead of Castrol put in. What are your thoughts on liqui moly? Also, some people say to use the oem whatever the factory manual recommends because the engine has super tight tolerances?
I do not know much about liqui moly honestly. I just wanted the best oil that burns the cleanest since this is a direct injection engine, and my friends whom are more mechanically inclined than I am recommended the Motul for being amazing in Audi/VW engines. Generally you need to run the thickness that the manual recommends but if a car manufacturer recommends a brand 90% of the time its for sponsorship reasons.
The problem is the car is so low it is really a pain to jack up yourself at home. Quick jacks are probably the best option but my wife was unsure of me getting those for the garage. If I can get access to someone with a lift before next year I'd love to do it at least one time as the third follow-up to this video to compare all three choices.
It was 5w30. I want to reduce hydrocarbons as much as I can. I might eventually put in catch cans into the car that sit on the two PCV lines to catch and filter some of the blow-by.
No I am not. I looked him up and we have similar voice characteristics but his voice is a bit deeper if you really listen. I do have another channel if you are interest in Star Wars, props building, electronics, and 3D printing called NaigonAkoii. You can find my BB-8 and Grogu builds there.
Josh and his team are awesome. They did a great job replacing my heater control valve last year. They let me provide my own part and coolant that I bought online (Much less expensive). If you need access to a quick jack, hit me up on Facebook. I am looking forward to seeing who replaced your tires…
This is super affordable! Great informative video!
Thanks so much! Josh's prices are definitely in the stratosphere of my Audi TTS I had last, which are totally acceptable.
wow, that difference! 😲
The biggest positive about going to the dealership might have been the insights it gave for my past two service videos.
@@cruisinggeek3640 is the lambo's v10 really that loud like neighbors can all hear it when you start it?
I'm in the market for a 2011-2014 Gallardo & this helps a lot to know what to expect! Thanks for the video!
Sweet, good luck with your search!

Hi long time no see ~Btw, Wouldn’t it be nicer to change the oil by yourself?

cruising which motul did you use? gen2 or no? xcess? why not use 5-40?
I am thinking it was MOTUL Specific 5w30 as it covers OEM APPROVALS VW 504 00 and 507 00

I talked to Josh. 5w30 8100 x-clean is what was used.
Quick question are you also sagethecollector?
