When its time for a new contract, they can't pay them all. So, they will start moving to other teams for big money. Reality check.

yea he's actually a beast, ive taken notice, he was never terrible at it but looks like he always going to be the most trusted back on the roster to protect ben on passing downs with a RB on the field, its frustrating in a way because when he does get carries its always these power runs but our O-Line isn't the best at moving people, their more of a zone run team but for some reason they keep calling power left for a 3 yard loss, the zone runs conner did actually have were all 8-12 yard gainers, thats what he is best at so why they gotta keep using runs that don't work ill never understand it, look all the conner haters now ganna say at the End of the game Benny Snell was looking nice and conner trash but they will fail to mention benny only ran the ball 3 times, all 3 were zone runs, conner would have gained the same amount of yards if not more on those plays, not to mention he was playing against the 2nd team too lol, you know haters gonna use what ever fits their narrative

The Steelers could be in for hard times when Big Ben retires. Especially if they hang around as an 8-win team that can't get bad enough to properly tank for the rare supply of Joe, Kyler, Trevor, etc. The other three AFC North teams all have promising young QBs to build around. The Steelers might end up outside looking in for a while. Amost no team outside of Green Bay gets to follow up a HOF QB with another HOF QB. Look at how long Miami is taking to replace Marino. Seriously, the Steelers could be lucky to have a quarterback as good as Baker.
On top of being 9-0, the Steelers have delivered two total beatdowns in their last 5 games. Starting to look legit Super Bowl level.

Watching the Steelers struggle against Garrett Gilbert and the Dallas Cowboys off of a hot win against Baltimore on the road, and then seeing Big Ben miss an entire week of practice, and come out and mop the floor with Joe Burrow and the Bengals is the epitome of being a Steelers fan. Yeah I think 13-3 is looking likely, maybe 12-4 which if a few other results go our way could win the division for us. If the patriots upset the ravens later I think it's the steelers divison
Nice to not have a heart attack for a change. Love how evenly the passing game was distributed, 4 TD to 3 different WR, with Washington, Ebron and McCloud also getting fed. That’s how you overwhelm d-lines, they won’t know who to cover. Our defense was spectacular, kudos to Haden and Fitzpatrick for keeping the backfield in check while TJ and Dupree beat Burrow to the ground. We need to establish the running game (Sometimes Conner tries to cut too much and results in losing yards) and Ben and Claypool need to get the timing honed down for those deep throws. Getting that down we can take on anyone :)
Exactly this, Connor was doing great but these last few games he seems to be overthinking it. I hope he can realize that his best results are always when he just busts straight ahead instead of running and cutting himself into a trap.

With Joe mixon out the Bengals Backfield was manned by Gio Bernard and Samaje Perine. This steelers run defense is arguably one of the best in the NFL. We saw great work from Both Bernard and Perine. Some big chunk runs from perine really was the highlight of the afternoon with some great runs from Gio and even some late work from Williams at the end of the game. This just proves the worth of every single one of these backs going forward
Idk those Steelers going 16-0 is looking more and more achievable every week and looking at their schedule it's very doable maybe 2 games they might have trouble with but other than that they should be in cruise control
Honestly the scariest game is next week against the Jags

OC still has some flaws to work out, this game he had a better plan, but in recent weeks his schemes have stalled and forced the team into tough positions, and they only got rolling when Ben was given the go to field general. Just some calls don't quite work, like twice against the Cowboys they ran for it on first down, the run was doing nothing all night and the pass was dicing them up...no reason to not pass on the second when the first failed so spectacularly (clock stops either way on 4th). Kind of a running theme for him, when things are going good, it's fine, but he's not so great at adjustments when they aren't.
