When asked about he taunting call, Corrente said that he "felt that he had taunted them(the Steelers bench)". He didn't see him or hear him taunt the bench, but decided to throw the flag. He said something similar when asked about the low block call on Daniels. Now apply the feeling idea to any other penalty and tell me how that doesn't sound ridiculous i.e. "I didn't see him actually put his hands on the receiver, but I felt that he committed PI.". I guess he "felt" that Mario Edwards bumping into Ben a half second after he threw the ball was roughing the passer, but Justin Fields getting hit late several times was not.
Justin Field was a runner, and the hit was a legal hit to the shoulder not helmet to helmet.

good game chicago bears! y'all almost won, lol i was so nervous that we'd lose to the bears but y'all had a very good come back (i'm a steelers fan) also wanna say i agree that cassius wasnt taunting he was just looking towards the sideline, (even tho i'm a steelers fan i still want a fair match!)
either way, i think fields is proving game after game that he is legit
Feel pity for Marsh got yelled by his coach even he's clueless what's going on
I don't feel any pity for his whack-ass hairdo... that alone deserved a penalty, LMAO.
The coach later apologized to him
@@nahor88 what? dude did nothing wrong

That "Taunting" call on 59 cost Bears the game. I'm not even a Bears fan but, this type of officiating makes me raise my eyebrows. Disgraceful.
Bears were disgraceful too !!! Stay onside before the snap of the football !!! This type of behavior will continue to cost you football games !!!
@@m.i.bmastertoymuseum1979 this has nothing to do with offsides yea those hurt but those were actually the bears fault they got robbed of a win
@@RiftDemonxX Bro, the Bears lost this game all by themselves !!!!
@@m.i.bmastertoymuseum1979 nahh dude. Because thanks to that call on 59 the Steelers got a field goal because it was 4th and 10 already and they got 15 yards out of that call
@@m.i.bmastertoymuseum1979 the refs literally erased a Bears TD with a crap call.
Fields is maturing on the field. It's very satisfying even with a not so good record.
My favorite teams are the Bears and the Steelers, and I've always loved the Steelers a tad more, only a count hair. So this game was legitimately everything I could ever ask for. Either way, I am happy.
Justin Fields looks good he's going to be a great quarterback in this league
if he can stop getting sacked...
@@johnfulton1568 once they get a new offensive line, then I think they can do great things
The kid is nice. I've been following all of their games and he's gotten comfortable. When the bears plug holes as far as the team, they are going to be scary for years to come, if he stays healthy. Haven't felt this way about a QB since Lamar. Beautiful throwing motion and just pinpoint. Look out for the bears!!
Yea, Bears fans should be excited
Followed him at Ohio state. Hes too talented and smart to not be a great quarterback. If he isn't a multi year all pro selection you know he didnt reach his potential
Amazing performance from Bears D - they never gave up even when behind by a bunch. Kudos to the team overall - after struggling all game long including some absolutely stupid calls from the zebras, they fought back and lost only by an unlucky bounce of the ball. Steelers got a little lucky tonight, and boy that Najee kid totally fought for his yards tonight. What a warrior.
If you're talking about the field goal bounce, the ball was 8 yards away from the crossbar. It only looked like it from the POV that the announcers were looking at
I can't wait till The Bears play Green Bay again. Rodgers really pisses them off. I know it's at Lambeau, but Justin has had 2 very good games in a row now. Fields is looking like he'll be scary in the season's second half.
@@yodahefasil1916 I didn't know that, Y.D. I didn't watch the game on TV, just these highlights. So it didn't bounce off the crossbar?
I counted 8 penalties that weren't called, in just this highlight video. Meanwhile every call was wrong.

The Bears did all they could to win the game, but the penalties were the biggest killer in the game and the officials favoring the Steelers all night long

@@lenzone more about five, with a lot of missed calls. Refs completely changed this game for the Steelers
Everytime Steelers or Chiefs win the refs are the excuse, guess some people can't accept defeat or a win from their hated rivals
It was quite a shameful display by the refs. Not only the BS calls on the Bears, it was the ones the also refused to call on the steelers...like multiple late hits on Fields. Ruined the game.
@@lenzone Despite dominating time of possession the Steelers were outgained in the air, on the ground, in YPP, and in total yards. Najee was held to a miserable 2.8 YPC against a defense missing 3 important run stoppers. They were outplayed in all facets by the worst offense in the league. The refs accounted for a ten point differential and changed drives single-handedly. At one point a ref ran directly into a bear to flag him, negating his sack. The bears got 5 sacks without their best pass rusher.
All this and the bears lost by a missed FG😕. Santos lost his longest NFL streak of FGS made because the refs put him in a corner. And despite fields getting roughed all game, dealing with the loudest stadium in the league, he threw for almost 300 yards and proved to be a clutch performer. He did more than enough for the win, and won everyone over.
BTW the Bears defense only “sold” on the Steelers last drive because they had to play desperate, due to the refs manipulating their lead. In “robbery” games like this, everything starts with the referees. If they had their proper lead they wouldn’t have been so jumpy.
Justin Fields can pass the ball pretty much anywhere on the field. It always looks like it's moving at a slowish velocity but it's usually placed well.
Fields better thank those refs. If they win too many games, Nagy might keep his job
If nagy keeps calling plays like he did in the second half, and keeps bringing out the wildcat formation he can stay. I’m much more disturbed by the officiating than our head coach. That’s 2 games this season we’ve been shafted against solid competition. It’s making us look a lot worse than we are
It came down to the wire at the very end, but the refs won a hard-fought battle against the bears!

@@Pcfrs_Unleashed Dude your ridiculous 🙄.
A critical in first half by the refs at the right moment for Steelers on a chop block that was called but he missed so should have been a non call? I am basing this on Trent Green reaction on radio. These calls by refs were made at critical moments in the game.
NFL needs to come out and discuss the refereeing in this game. This felt like a fixed game
All pro sports are scripted
NFL will never admit even if true. Check in a couple years and see how many from this crew have "retired".
Reminded me of a Super Bowl many years ago between Seahawks and Steelers when the fix was in.
League has way too many stupid rules. I find the celebrations in the end zone more appropriate for PeeWee league. Grown men hurt by taunting, give me a break.

As a steelers fan I stayed up all night to watch that game it was worth it. It was a very very lucky win for the steelers.
If we had Tuit and Tyson still this game wouldn’t of been close but anyways GG
Justin makin some good throws give him a year or 2 he’ll be solid

The Bears had to deal with two opponents simultaneously; the Steelers and the Refs. Pretty sad state of affairs.
Three Opponents, While the refs did screw them, they screwed them selves with stupid penalties too.
This comment brought to you by LITERALLY EVERY FAN BASE THAT LOSES A GAME EVERY WEEK.
But, this time it's a little true.
When an objective Football fan who doesn't care about either team just wanted to watch a great Monday Night Football game because it's the only game played, make the game enjoyable to watch NFL! Don't let the game be decided by the officiating, it makes it unwatchable! God was that awful.
Agreed
Has to be a way to challenge bad/missed calls. This game is yet another example in our 2021 season. Football is about honesty and truthfulness. When those are gone , people wont watch.
Dang, all hail the reffs. They're the God of Football. I missed old school football
Why cant refs get fines for missing obvious calls? every job have consequences when u dont do it right
Damn right!
Those refs getting a bonus this week for making sure the Steelers win. it's all about money and looks like the NFl had money on the Steelers this week, so if the Steelers couldn't manage on their own, the refs gave them a boost.
It starts at the top: Goddell gets paid tens of millions for ruining the product and turning off fans. That kind of culture trickles down.
You assume that the refs making bad calls makes the owners upset.
