As a Steelers fan I knew this game was going to be ugly💯typical Tomlin lead team
They do (usually) play down to their competition. But without Ben and JJ, and with the worst back up QB in the league, I'll give them a bye on the 'playing down to the competition' on this one. The other thing... 19 minutes of 'highlights' dedicated to a tie game? Really? MORE torture?
More like wishy-washy easily stoppable force meets constantly retreating object.
While historically the Steelers play down to their competition, this year the Steelers are just bad. They have great pieces but also a QB that shoulda retired 2 years ago. Said before the season that the Steelers ceiling is winning one playoff game. Their floor is not even making it.
Let me ask the fans. What good is taking a star RB in Najee if you're just going to waste his limited RB time playing with a roster that you KNOW can't make the superbowl? Taking a RB in the first was delusion from management. Najee is going to lose his career as the Steelers flail for a starting QB option that can develop. Maybe they can get Deshaun Watson and make a deep run play for a year before Najee's career ends? That or they will continue to get no premium draft picks and no super bowls for a few years as they skirt on the fringes of being a good team.

This Lions game was actually a carbon copy of the Seahawks game, where they literally just ran the ball almost every play until FINALLY Keith Butler realized he needed to stack the line. The difference is they had Ben that game. Mason SUCKS. Time for him to go. Draft a QB, and start Haskins once Ben is gone.

This was like one of those classic games you see on NFL channel, between 2 teams battling it out for a playoff spot through mud and rain and everything.

Steelers for whatever reason could not figure out how to defend the Lion's running game for 3+ quarters despite the fact Goff was limited throwing the ball. Rudolph missed open receivers in key situations that killed scoring drives.....later when he did hit them down the stretch they coughed it up. Story of this game.

Pittsburgh has now ended two regular season losing streaks with ties. First with the 2018 Browns after their legendary 0-16 2017 season by starting that season with a tie, and now ending the Lions' 0-8 streak.
