    My dad was on the field the last time the Lions won a championship. I was four. When he died, never seeing the Lions come close again, he said, I hope you do. I didn't have much hope I would do any better until Sheila Hamp took over. I think I might make it to the Lions winning a Super Bowl. I will raise a toast: Here's to you dad.

    I love my Lions bro. I just turned 30 yesterday and couldn’t have asked for a better gift from my team. Still remember my pops taking me to games as a kid when Charlie Batch and Joey Harrington were our starting QBs. We’ve come a long way since those days. #OnePride 🦁

      @LogicOverEmotion Год назад +1

      @@Narutofreak155 appreciate the bday wishes bro! And yeah we didn’t have season tix in those days but it was kind of a family tradition to go the Thanksgiving game every year and catch the parade downtown. The Millen era was the darkest of times to a be a football fan in Detroit. Then there were glimmers of hope in the Schwartz and Caldwell eras that both ultimately ended in abject disappointment. And the Quinn/Patricia regime was pretty much the Millen-lite era. But once the Lions strung a couple wins together last year I could tell there was a culture shift in the making. Even though we ended up missing out on the playoffs I could truly see that Holmes and Campbell were building something special. So my bro and I made sure to invest in season tickets for the first time this year and apart from the heartbreak against Seattle it’s been money well spent. Couldn’t be more proud to wear Honolulu Blue!

      @@LogicOverEmotion ohh most definitely a shift and culture change they're for real and I'm here for it unfortunately I work Sundays though lmao but I couldn't be more proud of our lions Thanksgiving day lions games were always fun for sure I will say the morale and what the teammates will do for each other is huge as well as playing as hard as they can for dan Campbell is nothing short of amazing but I knew dan was special even though it took him a few years but I believed in him and Holmes and obviously they know what they are doing Gibbs is so explosive now it's amazing 💯🔥

    • @LogicOverEmotion
      @LogicOverEmotion Год назад +1

      @@Narutofreak155 No doubt brodie. I still feel we’re one more draft away from having a truly legit shot at winning a SB because we still desperately need a better pass rush and more depth in the secondary. Having said that, if Houston returns and can contribute the way he did last year which would help free up Hutch and if CJGJ can come back before the playoffs we’ll have more than a puncher’s chance at the Lombardi, especially if we’re able to secure the #1 seed. Either way I couldn’t be more proud of this group of dawgs on the field, Dan Campbell, Brad Holmes and perhaps most of all, Sheila Ford Hamp for finally delivering long suffering Lions fans the winning football team we deserve. Regardless of how this season ends I’m gonna enjoy the ride.

    • @Charleybones
      @Charleybones Год назад +4

      That's because those past teams were built from the outside in. These Lions are built from the inside out on all levels, and are built to last. When you have a GM who knows what the hell he is doing, and a head coach that has brains and guts and knows how to lead, and knows how to pick his coaching staff, and an owner who lets them do their job, this is what you get. If anything, the Lions are a little ahead of schedule on their total rebuild. They might get to the big dance this year, and with plenty of luck and guts win it. But if they get one more good draft net year, get some fresh talent in the D line and some luck in staying healthy, they are going to be a favorite to win it all in 2025 in New Orleans...

    • @thomasbayles8203
      @thomasbayles8203 Год назад +1

      I give most of the credit to Campbell for that win. He played that perfectly at the end. The players had to execute, but that was a gutsy call going for it on that final 4th down and then running the clock down to leave it on Patterson's leg. If the Chargers got their hands on that ball again, they were gonna score. No if's, and, or buts about it.

      @@justinlaw2670, correct, the Seahawks vs Lions game was a closely contested match up like that of the Bills vs Broncos, Browns vs Ravens, Lions vs Chargers and other closely contested match ups. In Browns vs Ravens first match up, Ravens nearly shut out the Browns, similar to what the Ravens did to the Lions, but in the Ravens vs Browns second match up: Browns beat the Ravens in a closely contested match up. Lions have undoubtedly grown and learned from their losses by bouncing back on their 2nd winning streak thus far of this season. Lions are also coming up with a better game plan to win. Lions are on pace to sweep 🧹 the AFC West and NFC South teams. I would even say that the Lions have what it takes to sweep the NFC North teams.

    Once we tighten up that defense, it will be over for any team. We are one corner, LB, DT away

    Just imagine if we had this offensive line back in 2011 with Calvin Johnson in the mix still when we had the number 1 scoring defense and one of the top 5 defenses in the league. Stafford did what he could with a very poor offensive line supporting him and players triple-covering Megatron yet he'd still find a way to pull down a catch over them. You boys are giving me lots of hope. Let's keep it up! And there is a chance the Lions and Browns could be in the Super Bowl right now! When was the last time that happened?

    Their offense is on fire!!! I sure wish they would have solidified their defense at the trade deadline. Gonna bite em in the ass this year.

    Just an opinion here. You should have left what led up to the play at 16:47. The 1st 2nd and 3rd down before it. When you know the outcome, this is a sequence that can give your audience just a little rush of excitement and maybe enjoy the video more. Or maybe if they haven't seen it too ya know. Just my thought.
    Thanks for all the videos and work you do.
