My dad was on the field the last time the Lions won a championship. I was four. When he died, never seeing the Lions come close again, he said, I hope you do. I didn't have much hope I would do any better until Sheila Hamp took over. I think I might make it to the Lions winning a Super Bowl. I will raise a toast: Here's to you dad.
Cheers to your Dad, and all the lion Dad's. 🍻
Cheers mate! 🍻
🍻
🍻
I was 11 in 1957 we have been waiting a long long long time for this
I've watched the Lions since the fifties. This is the best team I've ever seen!
You might live to see them in a Super Bowl. My Dad is hoping they get there before his time is done here.
@@stat_mike9720keep pops healthy , lions on cuffs of somthin special 👍🏽
I totally agree. Just need another pass rusher.
Love it
Need to clean up our d a bit no pass rush what so ever lol won't make it to sb if we don't get that cleaned up but go lions baby!!!
So many years we’ve been bad.. I’m so happy I get to see this level of success in my lifetime
Right! Regardless of how far we go im just happy to appreciate watching a good football team that’s consistent and knows how to win games
I knew from the start that whoever has the ball last was going to win. Let’s go Lions🔥
Gecko
He edited his comment so this no longer makes sense.
Lol no you didn’t quit lyin bozo 😂
Really? I knew from the start that Lions were going to win
@@rosscarter734I’ll do you one better: I knew they were going to win last year.
@@ugoeze7360😂😂😂 I love it!
I love my Lions bro. I just turned 30 yesterday and couldn’t have asked for a better gift from my team. Still remember my pops taking me to games as a kid when Charlie Batch and Joey Harrington were our starting QBs. We’ve come a long way since those days. #OnePride 🦁
I had season tickets when they were our qbs so I know all to well how amazing this team is now I'm 32 🎉 happy Birthday btw
@@Narutofreak155 appreciate the bday wishes bro! And yeah we didn’t have season tix in those days but it was kind of a family tradition to go the Thanksgiving game every year and catch the parade downtown. The Millen era was the darkest of times to a be a football fan in Detroit. Then there were glimmers of hope in the Schwartz and Caldwell eras that both ultimately ended in abject disappointment. And the Quinn/Patricia regime was pretty much the Millen-lite era. But once the Lions strung a couple wins together last year I could tell there was a culture shift in the making. Even though we ended up missing out on the playoffs I could truly see that Holmes and Campbell were building something special. So my bro and I made sure to invest in season tickets for the first time this year and apart from the heartbreak against Seattle it’s been money well spent. Couldn’t be more proud to wear Honolulu Blue!
@@LogicOverEmotion ohh most definitely a shift and culture change they're for real and I'm here for it unfortunately I work Sundays though lmao but I couldn't be more proud of our lions Thanksgiving day lions games were always fun for sure I will say the morale and what the teammates will do for each other is huge as well as playing as hard as they can for dan Campbell is nothing short of amazing but I knew dan was special even though it took him a few years but I believed in him and Holmes and obviously they know what they are doing Gibbs is so explosive now it's amazing 💯🔥
@@Narutofreak155 No doubt brodie. I still feel we’re one more draft away from having a truly legit shot at winning a SB because we still desperately need a better pass rush and more depth in the secondary. Having said that, if Houston returns and can contribute the way he did last year which would help free up Hutch and if CJGJ can come back before the playoffs we’ll have more than a puncher’s chance at the Lombardi, especially if we’re able to secure the #1 seed. Either way I couldn’t be more proud of this group of dawgs on the field, Dan Campbell, Brad Holmes and perhaps most of all, Sheila Ford Hamp for finally delivering long suffering Lions fans the winning football team we deserve. Regardless of how this season ends I’m gonna enjoy the ride.
As a Chargers fan, Detroit Lions are my team of the NFC. Huge respect for y'all fans.
Ty we get hated on Hella but folks driving there f 150s like w.e lol
I was there today, 3rd row in the end zone. So many lions fans in that stadium it felt like a home game! This is the best team ive seen in my lifetime, i hope this is our year!!
I was there as well section 124. That lower level stadium from my vantage point were all Lions. That crowd noise was loud. Sofi Stadium is a death trap though. Only one escalator going one way. Money well spent for these game.
@@jaywashington7491 yeah leaving was brutal
Man that pick from Kerby was so damn nice. Just the presence of mind getting both feet down. So glad he has been back out there the past few weeks
He owned Aaron Rodgers in the last full season of his career during his rookie season. 3 picks in 2 games. It needs to be on his ESPN documentary as a sidenote.
Yeah that pick was something special. Joseph becoming a ball hawk safety. Love it!
We need him back there because our pass defense sucks.
Don’t you mean “Gary Joseph?”
@@Slowyourrollvarietyshow I thought I heard him say "Gary" lol
As someone who couldnt watch the game. THANK YOU for putting this video out there for me to enjoy when I get home from work
Jamo looked confident and involved. Over the top is on its way. 😊
Game ball to the OL 💪
the O Line really doesn't get the credit and recognition they deserve
Yep
My heart is still racing. This is the kind of game that the Lions of Old would've lost. The culture has indeed changed. Goff is a beast and MCDC has balls of steel.#OnePride
This was a scary one. I remember when we had a talented QB and a crazy wide receiver carrying us to remain in the game but we’d lose in a heartbreaker like the Chargers did today. Those days are over.
That's because those past teams were built from the outside in. These Lions are built from the inside out on all levels, and are built to last. When you have a GM who knows what the hell he is doing, and a head coach that has brains and guts and knows how to lead, and knows how to pick his coaching staff, and an owner who lets them do their job, this is what you get. If anything, the Lions are a little ahead of schedule on their total rebuild. They might get to the big dance this year, and with plenty of luck and guts win it. But if they get one more good draft net year, get some fresh talent in the D line and some luck in staying healthy, they are going to be a favorite to win it all in 2025 in New Orleans...
I give most of the credit to Campbell for that win. He played that perfectly at the end. The players had to execute, but that was a gutsy call going for it on that final 4th down and then running the clock down to leave it on Patterson's leg. If the Chargers got their hands on that ball again, they were gonna score. No if's, and, or buts about it.
@@Charleybones I know it's hindsight but if CJ SJ and Mosley didn't get injured. If Houston gets back. And get that BIG guy ( B Martin)some snaps so he can get better. Don't need much more than that. All the pieces are here. Just gotta get through all the games healthy.
Kinda disappointed in the defense.. looked like an easy win early on. Offense is 🔥. Keep moving 🦁🏈🔥
Jamo's stats might not show it but he was one of the bright spots today
Hell of a block on Montgomerys run.
I can’t believe I’ll actually enjoy watching them on Thanksgiving this year
Jamo gained my respect, unlike Pickens he didn’t cry and pout when his TD got called back he still went out there and did his job and was happy for his teammates
I loved that block that he threw for Monty to score that touchdown.
I will be 80 next month and would love to see the Lions go to the super bowl in my lifetime.
As a browns fan, I always have a soft spot for the Lions, but this team is so fun to watch.
As a Lions fan who lives in Michigan. I always liked the Cleveland Browns. I hope they make the playoffs.
Lions vs browns superbowl??? Lets gooooo
I do usually root against the Browns if we're awful, but I'm a-ok with us both having strong years at the same time. Doesn't happen often enough.
While Jamo has yet to reach his expectations, I do think we need to give him some props on the effort to make that block which helped get Montgomery into the end-zone. While I'm sure he could be frustrated with his lack of receiving production, I believe the effort to make that block is indicative that he is still mentally in the game with this team. Hopefully, he will have his breakout soon.
Jamo is my favorite person period! All the negativity he gets about being a bust and not getting the ball and still set great blocks and still celebrates with his teammates when they have success is admirable to me.
I agree totally and I don't understand why folks call him a bust
My hands were literally shaking the last few minutes of the game but a Great game none the less by the offense. It's going to be a great finish to the year now that we have Montgomery & Gibbs back and healthy. One with the speed & the other with great power. Also was happy Patterson got the game winner. Just love the respect they all have for each other all around.
That’s what a great team does. Way to go Detroit Lions 🦁. Great teams find ways to win by playing complementary football 🏈. 7-2!
It was the Seattle game all over again but they pulled this one out.
@@justinlaw2670, correct, the Seahawks vs Lions game was a closely contested match up like that of the Bills vs Broncos, Browns vs Ravens, Lions vs Chargers and other closely contested match ups. In Browns vs Ravens first match up, Ravens nearly shut out the Browns, similar to what the Ravens did to the Lions, but in the Ravens vs Browns second match up: Browns beat the Ravens in a closely contested match up. Lions have undoubtedly grown and learned from their losses by bouncing back on their 2nd winning streak thus far of this season. Lions are also coming up with a better game plan to win. Lions are on pace to sweep 🧹 the AFC West and NFC South teams. I would even say that the Lions have what it takes to sweep the NFC North teams.
Dan Campbell has titanium nuts
I've heard they're so big they've been awarded their own congressman.
Derwin James is a great player. Numerous times I watched tht game and 3 kept jumping out. Tracy reminds me of him alot.
Folks, don't worry about Jamo. He may have the label of bust right now according to some but to me he's showing that he can be a beast. Far from bust. Killer blocker and showed also today that he can move the chains with short passes. 7-2. Feels good. Take care of business next week 😎
He needs to have multiple good games
@@jonsmith9708 Ok. Receiver is different than running back... He will. Not his fault that he's wr4. That's where the coaches have him. Don't be surprised if on Thanksgiving he goes 7 catches for 100 yards. One of the catches being a touchdown
He's a baller. Made the key block on Montgomerys run. He'll come around with more touches.
Watching this team play gives me chills.
Go Lions!
Gives me upset stomach lol
Sounds like the Lions are playing at home. Everywhere they go, they got fans.
Sam LaPorta is 🔥🔥🔥.. #OnePride🦁🦁🦁
LaClutch!
This week's Dan Miller video is gonna be amazing.
LOVE those videos!!
Sounds like a home game... these fans deserve it
Man...Ill wait all day for Jamo to catch some balls if he keeps making blocks like that for Mont G....that kinda play for your team gets me hype. Jamo...respect man, we see you. He bolted so fast to clear that last road bump...thats GRIT. Keep him all day until he can catch, boy is still making plays
Cardíaco el juego al estilo lions de detroit. Solo falta mejorar en defensiva para ser un equipo que pretenda llegar lejos está temporada. Gooo lions!!!!
Psssst, Tony Romo… that wasn’t a guard, it was Rodrigo, a linebacker playing FB taking out Bosa (Typical Lions move 🤣)💙
So pumped to have seen this one in person! My cheeks were clenched that whole last drive.
The crowd was cheering so load on TV I had to look again at who was really home team
Sewell is such a bully 😂😂😂
Thank you Sheila 👏👏👏
I was just at this game, and I gotta mention that it felt like Ford Field!! Sea of Honolulu Blue! One Pride baby! had to rewatch the highlights, I love this team so freakin much!!
So great watching the Lions knowing they can march down the field!
Always say been watching since the 2008 season, this is insane to see.
The year I converted
Go Lions!! Been a fan since birth!! Dan Campbell is the man!! Thanks coach for finally giving us a winner!!
"We might be seeing this Lions team in Las Vegas."
I love it let's go baaaaabyyyyy
It's amazing that every game this year on the road you really can hear the Lions fans 😊❤.
Detroit has all type of weapons now. OMG they might actually win it all this year. This is awesome !!!!!!
Love the outcome but damn, Aaron Glenn has to figure out how to create more pressure with this defensive line. Herbert had all day and only one WR. Also, why did Glenn not put Sutton on Allen all game. You want your best CB to cover the best WR. I love Jerry Jacobs but he is not a CB1
Sent so many blitzes with no pressure, burned every time...no adjustments?
@@chriss5165 It actually got worse as the game went on.
@helmedon exactly my point...no adjustments made even after K.Allen was the sole torcher against us all game...happy for the win though 7-2? LFG 🦁!!
We need a better defensive coordinator. No excuse for getting burned like that over and over again.
I am so happy to be a lions fan been rocking with them for a super long time even when the record was bad but thank God we are finally good 7-2 let's go lions💙💙💙😘
This was a Home game for us!!!!
Lions fan here: I love the running game and how is being used regardless of the situation (3rd and 4th down) and the audacity of Campbell. If the team could improve the conversion in the Red Zone, would be unstoppable. The previous game results against the Raiders and to a certain extend, this one do not reflect the Lions dominance due to the lack of touchdowns in the Red Zone.
Yes sir....
This was one hell of a game 😮. Had me nervous because these are usually the games we lose.. go lions 🤘
A wins a win in this league! Let’s just keep stacking them!
Man I'm geeked tf up bruh LET'S GO LIONS 🦁 💪🏿
Not even a Lions fan, but man they look great this year and I know they never been to the big game, I hope they get a chance to go this year.
Ohhhh man!!! My lions got a team finally. Doing big things
Love the commentary emphasizing the great play calling.
I love the lions ever since I was little been waitin for this day for years to come I think we really have chance winning the super bowl we the best team right now
I can’t WAIT for the locker room video
My Lions were absolutely fantastic in the Offense today!Okay Defense must do something but the Rest is so good!Lets hope that Amon-Ra,Goff,Montgomery and Jahmyr didn`t get an injury! That would be a Desaster!GOOOO LIONS
I have no skin in the game but those Lions are exciting to watch.
This is the most complete lions team I've witnessed and they still can improve The Lions Have a legit chance of going all the way
The O-line as a unit is insane.
that fella who took out 3, whew
The Lion's offense showed up and came to win. If our defense showed up, it would of been a lopsided victory for sure. Chargers pulled our ticket going into the second half. Excellent win staying on par with the other team! Keep it rollin'!
This is what I call an exciting team. Been a big fan since 1952. I want to see them in the Super Bowl.
Amazing 🏆 go lions 🦁
Joy, joy, joy it's been a hard, hard road but maybe just maybe!! LIONS FOREVER!!
GO LIONS!!!
Jah and Dmo went stupid on the ground and Goff continues to have hands of gold. Defense had the refs breathing down their necks, all you can do is review the tape and get better at what you can control.
This Lions offense is an absolute power house
We were lucky we had the lead going into the second half. This was a crazy shootout! Defense needs to be better going forward though! But good win.
Rodrigo at FB?!🔥
Ever since the ravens game, he's been making offensive snaps, yeah
If the Detroit Lions make it to Las Vegas... all of Michigan will be there. I can't even believe people are even talking about it as a possibility. GO DETROIT!!!
Great win. Offense is looking top tier, defense had some moments but we need James Houston back.
remember when everyone was trashing on us for drafting gibbs? (me being one of those people) Welp, I'm hella glad we did.
Once we tighten up that defense, it will be over for any team. We are one corner, LB, DT away
Just imagine if we had this offensive line back in 2011 with Calvin Johnson in the mix still when we had the number 1 scoring defense and one of the top 5 defenses in the league. Stafford did what he could with a very poor offensive line supporting him and players triple-covering Megatron yet he'd still find a way to pull down a catch over them. You boys are giving me lots of hope. Let's keep it up! And there is a chance the Lions and Browns could be in the Super Bowl right now! When was the last time that happened?
This was my favorite game of the year.
Go Lions! 🦁
Their offense is on fire!!! I sure wish they would have solidified their defense at the trade deadline. Gonna bite em in the ass this year.
The detroit lions have to appreciate the great linemen its all to their credit.
I was seven, thank God I may see them win it all, I hope.
One Pride 🦁
God bless Tony Romo. Had nothing but great things to say about our Lions!
a good omen; Tony seems prescient, predicts the future. made an enjoyable game even more so. heaps of praise, spread around.
4:27 Can we just talk about Anzalone closing in as fast as he did? Incredible.
Yup, he was amazing on that
Lol.. almost 19 mins of highlights! Leeeets goooo! Johan and the boys put on a show!
@ 10:33 i love seeing Williams getting pumped up after the awesome block🤜🤛💪
Jameson Williams, good block for Montgomery
I don't see bad defense. I see another great offense.
Yup
Obviously lots of (very vocal!) Lions fans in that crowd. It's been a fun year so far for Lion's nation.
Im sending the Ford Family my Cardiologist bill
Hahahaha
JARED GOFF BEST PASSER IN THE LEAGUE!
Great game go Lions
That td run from Montgomery was beautiful.i still don't know how he stayed in..
Like for the ROAR!!
offensive highlights 18 minutes 17 seconds
defensive highlights 35 seconds
Let’s go lions from NY
5:06 shoutout to Gary Joseph 💀
This season brought me back to the lions I'm 60 so for 50 years they lost go lions
How many are here rewatching the entire seasons wins over and over and the awesome way these guys matured befor our eyes and instilled pride (ONE) in our hearts?!?! 2024 Season cant start soon enough......and I cant believe Im saying that! Still pinching myself!! LETS GOOOOOOOOOO!!!
BALLS to go on that fourth and two
Needed it. It was the last team holding the ball was going to win kind of game. No defense either side.
Just an opinion here. You should have left what led up to the play at 16:47. The 1st 2nd and 3rd down before it. When you know the outcome, this is a sequence that can give your audience just a little rush of excitement and maybe enjoy the video more. Or maybe if they haven't seen it too ya know. Just my thought.
Thanks for all the videos and work you do.
